Aries

Savages, cruel
Guilt is our fuel
Easily and deservedly we are condemned
For the innocence stolen under our nails
But who would blame the starving for stealing a meal?

They cry of innocence and girlhood
How precious a privilege, how great a gift
For I was never innocent, boyhood does not exist
The moment you're born you are classified
"Expiration date: thirteen, ten, seven, five"
A change must happen the moment you spoil
No longer to be loved, born for toil

I have only clung by mirroring my counters
Pitching my voice, denying my founders
For innocence is a mere consolation prize
For the loss of future, the man's demise

Yet there is no freedom or reprieve
My glossy nails or heavy hair will never clean the evil or cleave
Under my skin, in my bones
The desire to take, it never leaves me alone

Evil is evil, I will never dispute
But I hate when you accuse
Never having been born bad
I hate when you are the true victim
When you don't know how hard it is to beg for sheep hide
