"Also.. if you can't physically tell me because you're afraid of something happening then give me a sign. Anything." He mentioned and the coach came out of the gym doors telling us to return back to class.

Time skip to the End Of School Day

Peter's POV

Before the bell had rung at the end of the school day, I noticed Y/n writing more and more into that journal of hers. I started to thinking in my head.

'What is it she's writing so much in that book?'

'There seems to be a lot of it and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing?'

'I hope it's nothing bad.'

I met up with Ned at the front gate of the school. He apparently got there first when I told him to wait for me at my locker.

"Hey Peter" He said and gave a small wave
"So are we still hanging out before the party?"

"Yeah. Of course." I told him by the time I got near the gate. We both walked out and started walking down the street.

Y/n's POV

It was the end of school and speed walked down the hallway after grabbing my things. I saw Mj not too far away waiting for me when I heard someone say my name.

"Hey Y/n!" It was Flash. I rolled my eyes and kept walking until I was out of school.

"Hey Michelle! Let's go before Flash catches up." I said to her as we met up. She rolled her eyes at the mention of his name but hurried up with me.

"I have an easier way of getting to the bookstore. Come on." I stated before walking to a nearby empty alleyway. Michelle was close behind.

"What are we doing here?" She asked looking around. No one was passing by the alley either so that's good.

"Don't freak out." I told her and took her hand. Seconds later, we arrived at another alleyway near to the bookstore.

"Woah." Was all she said when she looked around.

"Come on. You still owe me a book or two. Plus, we can stop at a nearby shop to grab something to eat."

All she did was nod afterwards and walked out of the alleyway. I followed behind and we started to walk towards the building that read 'Boarders.'

"Hey Michelle. What about this oneee" I said with a smile and a wink as I showed her a mystery romance novel.

"Uh no" she said with a smile in return, followed by a chuckle.

"Fineee.." I said putting back the book. Then there was one that caught my eye. The cover was black and there was a year on the front. '1856' It said, followed by 'experiment 57'. "What about this one then?"

She looked over at me before walking to the section I was at. "Let me see." Was what came out of her mouth as she took the book from my hands to see it. Moving it around in her hands, opening it up and scanning through the pages before handing it back to me; she nodded her head. "Yeah. How much."

I turned the book over to the back and read the price "$10, but don't worry. I'll pay for our food. It's really not a problem. I just wanted a book." I admitted. To be honest, I didn't like when people wasted their money on me because I felt like if I had to pay them back in some sort of way.

"Alright. Let's go pay." She said and we walked over to the register.

"How May I assist you two lovely ladies on this wonderful day?" The old woman by the name of Mildred said in a kind voice.

" tis is indeed a wonderful day." Mj said and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"We would like to purchase a few books please if you don't mind." I told Mildred with a soft tone greeted with a tender smile.

She took the books we possessed and started scanning them. Took about 2 minutes total before she told Mj the price and she payed. "Alright I'm ready for some food."

"Me too Bookworm." I chuckled and she did too then we headed out with our bags. "How many books did you actually get?" I asked her

"4? I believe. The hunger games series and one more book just for the fun of it." She stated

"Wow. You really are a bookworm." I laughed and she rolled her eyes.

"They're really good."
"I believe you." I replied and stopped at the crosswalk.

Time Skip to Before Liz's Party Hour

Y/n's POV

Running around my room looking for something to wear isn't ideal but the usual when I'm looking for what to wear for school. I'm not a big planner when it comes to getting your clothes ready the night before because I can be lazy at times but anyway. Time to look for a dress.

'Come on...'

'Oo.. this is nice but too formal.'

- 2 Minutes Later -

'Finally... I found one' I told myself as I looked in the mirror.

Y/n's POV

Unknown: Hey. We're already at the Party.
Unknown: We got here not that long ago. Me and Ned of course. Michelle has been here for a while.
Unknown: Just wondering if you're still coming.
Unknown: Sorry, this is Peter.
Unknown: Parker.

Y/n: Oh, Hey Peter.
Y/n: Yes I'm still coming. I'm actually down the road.
Y/n: How did you get my number?

*Y/n changes name from Unknown to Spider-Dork*

Spider-Dork 🕸: Michelle. I asked her if she knew if you were still coming and she told me, in exact words, 'why not message her yourself?'

Y/n: That's her alright. Okay I see the house, so I'll see you when I come in.

Spider-Dork 🕸: Alright.

(So quick heads up. Yes this story is during homecoming but if you haven't noticed yet or yeah.. that I'm doing it exactly like the movie. I made it different, so if you see somethings that are different from the movie itself it's because it's my version of writing it. Short words. Instead of Spider-Man leaving during the party, he stays for a while and Liz doesn't move at the end. Maybe. 👀 )
