Long Silver and Glossy Black

Dylan walked through the halls of his new high school. He had just moved from New York, in the United states, to Hiroshima, in Japan. It was hard adjusting the time zones. He was having trouble finding his way around the school.

He walked around the corner and bumped into someone. He fell on his butt. "S-sorry." Dylan looked up and saw glossy black hair.

"It's fine." The guy standing reached out his hand and Dylan took it. "You must be new here. I don't remember ever seeing a neko with long silver hair."

Dylan touched his hair. "Oh, right. The name is Dylan Mcbee. I moved here from New York."

"Heh. Thats a nice step down. The name is Erich Craft's. I'll see you around." Erich left, leaving Dylan feeling weird.

'What's this feeling?' Dylan question. 'Forget it. Never. I can't...right?" Dylan blushed a deep red. Shaking his head, Dylan walked to class.

The classes weren't really hard. More like easy. Dylan had already learned the material in New York. Though he didn't like having Gym everyday. It's annoying. He didn't have to back in America, but he can't do anything about it.

The last bell rang to dismiss school, Dylan grabbed his bag and started walking home, but after walking past the school gate, Dylan saw Erich walking alone. He ran over to Erich.

"Hey Erich." The black haired male turned around. "Want to walk home together?" Dylan smiled.

"Sure. How was your first day? Like any of the teachers."

"Well... I'm not really sure about that. I think some of them hate me." Erich laughed.

"It's normal here but there really are nice once you get on their good side. Just don't get any of them mad." Erich pulled out his cell phone.

"What do you do after school?" Dylan wanted to know more about Erich. The weird feeling came back.

"Sleep and video games. I never do homework til the morning. Makes thing fun." Erich looks at Dylan, scanning his face with his blue eyes. "What about you?"

"Homework and then when i'm done i'll eat and then go to sleep. My life is boring, I know." Dylan sighed.

"It's fine. Not everyone is perfect. You want to get something to eat before going home." Erich stopped in front of a cafe. "I'll even pay."

Dylan liked free food. "That's a deal." They walked in.

"Welcome to cafe Leche. Right this way." A Maid with Neko ears walked them to a table.

"I know. Why don't you come over to my place. My parents aren't going to be there. We can play videos games and i'll let you do your homework before you leave." Erich laughs.

"I wish. My mother will never allow me to go over to a friends house without an adult in the house. She doesn't trust many people."

The Maid comes back with two slices of Strawberry short cake and earl grey tea.

"You don't have to tell her." Erich takes a bite. "I mean, do you have to tell her everything."

"Well no. I guess you have a point. I don't really have to tell her." Dylan didn't like the idea of lying to his mother, but he really wanted to go over to Erich's house. "Alright. I'll go to your house."
