"In the hospital, you suddenly collapsed yesterday and slept for the rest of the day." Izaya answered which made her eyes widened. "y-you brought me here?" she asked.
"Yeah, oh, your parents are also here. They just went to the doctor."
"I see... I collapsed once again..." she mumbled but Izaya didn't failed to hear it, he was about to ask when the door suddenly bust open.
Adults with opposite genders rush in the room as they hugged their child, worriedly. "are you alright, Rumi?" her mother soothed her.
"Yes, don't worry." she said with a small smile. "i heard from Izaya-kun that you collapsed, so I was worried and immediately took you in the hospital..."
"Well... as you can see, I'm fine." she said, then her parents exited the room as they were going to discuss some stuff with the doctor.
"Why did you lie? You're in pain aren't you?" Izaya said as he looked down on the ground. "i'm not lying! My parents are worrywarts... anyways, what're you doing here? We have classes y'know."
"I can't go to school when my girlfriend's in pain, that's too cruel." he snickered as Rumi's face heat up. "Well... we're going to break up after three days." she mumbled.
"We can become an official couple if you want," Izaya said making her looked up to his gaze. "Eh?" she said.
"Rest well, princess." he said as he leaned in and kissed her forehead, Izaya got the reaction that he wanted as he walked out the room and smiling proudly. 'How adorable.'
While walking through the hallways, he saw Rumi's parents seating on the chairs. He was about to greet them when he noticed that they were crying.
"What should we do, dear? I couldn't believe this... it's too hard." he didn't mean to eavesdrop but he did anyways.
"Rumi... she... she's just a young girl, please don't take her away..." now he was getting confused by their words.
That's when he decided to walk up to his parents, "I didn't mean to pry on your conversation but, what's going on with Rumi-chan? miss, mister?" the two adults stared at the Izaya for awhile and then decided to tell him the truth.
