It's the final day of Signal Academy for you and your classmates, and for the final tests, they decided to have each student fight against someone one time, to see how they fair against human opponents, and at the moment, it is Yang Xiao Long's turn as she fights against Dove in a one on one. That is, until...

Teacher: "Winner is... Yang Xiao Long!"

Yang: "YES!"

Ruby: *from the stands* "WAY TO GO, YANG!"

Teacher: *looking at the paper* "Ok, next up is Cardin Winchester vs (Y/n) Fair."

After you heard your name called, you jumped down from the stand towards the arena.

(Y/n): *Excited* "Ok! Let's go!"

After that, Cardin steps onto the arena in his armor, with his cocky smile on his face before he sees you and gets mad.

Cardin: "Oh great, so you're my last fight here, (Y/n)?" *Turns to the teacher* "Can't I fight someone else? He doesn't even have his semblance unlocked yet."

Teacher: "Sorry, Winchester, but besides you, (Y/n) here hasn't fought anyone else. Meaning if you want to pass my class, you gotta fight him."

Cardin: "Whatever then. This'll be easy."

Teacher: "Are you both ready?"

Both: "Yes!"

Teacher: "Ok then... 3"

(Y/n): *quietly* "Eye on the prize, (Y/n)..."

Teacher: "2"

Cardin: *loudly* "This'll be over in a second."

Teacher: "1"

(Y/n): "You're right, it will be over in a second."

Teacher: "Begin!"

Within less then a second, you charged at Cardin before holding your sword against his throat, with no one noticing except for the teacher who quickly stopped the match before Cardin could get hurt.

Teacher: "Match over! (Y/n) is the winner!"

Cardin: "What?! But the match just started!"

Teacher: "And within that timeframe, (Y/n) was able to get you into a position you can't counter from. I'm calling the match."

Cardin: *getting pissed*

(Y/n): *gives a toothy smile* "Guess that's my win again, Cardin. What was it? 20-0?"

You then move your sword and start to walk away. But before you could go far, Cardin tried to hit you with his mace, but the moment he did, you hit his arm with the flat part of your sword, knocking the mace away. The teacher then drags him away to reprimand him.

Time Skip start of Beacon

The Bullhead landed as multiple students race out of the ship, two of which are you classmate, Yang, and her sister Ruby. Stepping out of the ship, you place your foot on a bench as you try to take a pose.

(Y/n): *Grins* "Watch out, Beacon, a new huntsman is he-EEEEE! OOF!" *Falls, crashing onto the ground on his back*

You just stare blankly at the object that tripped you, which turns out to be Ruby's dog, Zwei.

(Y/n): "... Let's never talk about this again..." *gets up, then picks up Zwei* "How did you get here?"

Zwei: *Bark bark*

Zwei then jumps out of your arms and runs, with you chasing him.

(Y/n): "Hey, get back here, Zwei! We gotta get you back to Ruby!"

You continue to chase him until you turned a corner and crashed into a girl.

(Y/n) & girl: "WHOA/AHH!" *Crashes onto the ground hard*

You quickly jump up and then help her up, all the while apologizing to her.

(Y/n): "I am so sorry! I was chasing him-" *picks up Zwei* "-and I didn't see you, sorry!"

Girl: "It's fine, don't worry, and sorry for crashing into you, uh..."

(Y/n): "Oh, my name is (Y/n) Fair! Nice to meet you."

Girl: *small giggle* "Nice to meet you, my name is Pyrrha Nikos."

(Y/n): *giving her a toothy grin* "Nice to meet you, Pyrrha."

Just then, the bell rings, signalling that the auditorium speech was about to begin.

(Y/n): "Oh shit! Sorry, Pyrrha, I gotta go take him back to Ruby." *Starts to run looking for her before turning towards Pyrrha, yelling out* "Cya and hopefully we can be teammates!"

As you leave, you don't noticed that Pyrrha started to smile while blushing a bit. After all, you were the first person to treat her as a normal person after finding out who she is.

Shaking her head, she then starts to head for the auditorium, while still having a blush on her face.

Pyrrha: "(Y/n) Fair, huh?... I hope we do become teammates..."
