After plucking petals from the roses on his window, Marcus carefully grounded  them up knowing Leanna's life hung in the balance if he failed, he then placed the ground up petals in a large round beaker full of boiling water *im so glad my dad has a lab in this castle* Marcus thought, the water turned silvery blue indicating it was done. He twisted a little knob on the beaker, the contents pouring into a mug placed under the spout

. Marcus blew on it and brought it to Leanna who was now shaking violently but this time she was laying down on the floor eyes clamped shut "Leanna?" Marcus asked, Leanna's eyes snapped open staring at Marcus hard "i got the cure for you here i could help you drink it" there was no answer it was like her voice was gone but she kept staring at him with dull empty eyes, He set the cup down on the dresser and used the private phone "hey Marcus, did she drink it yet?" Zack asked for he answered the phone "no but i need Zephyr's permission to do something if i dont ask i might lose a limb" Marcus tried joking "ok ill get him" there was a scuffle in the background as well as angry whisperings until Zephyr picked up

"what do you need? im sulking right now" Zephyr asked grumpily "I would like your permission to give her the antidote mouth to mouth, she can't drink it on her own and if i tilt her head good chance shes gonna shake it out of her mouth so please for her sake" Marcus pleaded, Zephyr widened his eyes and thought for a moment, if he didnt she would die, if he did allow it would he hate Marcus for basically kissing her. The love for Leanna won him over "alright but just this nothing else" Zephyr told him "agreed thank you brother she will thank you for this in the long run trust me good bye Zeph" Marcus heard a yeah ok from the other line before he hung up. Marcus took a big gulp but didnt swallow from the mug tasting a sweetness on his tongue.

He picked Leanna up and leaned into her face. He gently placed his lips on her ice cold ones forcing her mouth open, Marcus pushed the antidote into her mouth forcing her to drink the potion then he lifted his head. Leanna's shaking then slowly stopped and her body tempature was rising until she was warm again. She opened her eyes slowly the color back to their clear gold-brown "Marcus?" Leanna asked then hugged him thankful he saved her life.

Realization hit her, Leanna looked at Marcus "did you just kiss me?" she demanded "yes and FYI, Zephyr allowed me to" the name perked her up a little "when were you talking to Zephyr?" Leanna whispered her heart aching "just before i cured you of the wolfsbane i didnt have a syringe on hand"   Leanna nodded and sighed looking depessed, Marcus sat down beside her "miss him don't you? Leanna now that i know what the punishment will be for you i need to get you back to the Celtic Moon pack i wont have you suffering again" Marcus told her "I want to go back" Leanna stated

After changing her clothes for a tank top and a pair of blue jean capris, Leanna laid down on the bed closing her eyes and imagined being next to Zephyr again. She imagined running through the forests in wolf form with him. She could have went on forever until a knock on the door snapped her out of her fantasies. A note was given to her by the maid from Marcus "My fathers agreed to let you go out hunting in wolf form if you want but he warns you dont go far, plans are already in place for your escape, I got a few human friends who are gonna pose as hunters, You will run away from them as if your life depended on it then you will run into Zephyr's territory I know you havn't been in this castle long only 3 days since you were out for 2 due to my hypotizing powers but i will not stand to see you forced to take wolfsbane again. Leanna this is the time for your escape, im already planning mine Take care Lady Deveraux" 

Marcus was right, it was her time to escape or die trying. She informed King Asarious that she will be going hunting as she was allowed to "very well but remember don't go far or else" beside him was the same syringe filled with wolfsbane to make clear what her punishment was if she dared go far "yes sir" was all she could say then she hurried outside. Changing into her wolf form was easy enough now, Her white paws treaded on the snow covered ground. As If on cue 3 humans posing as hunters came out from behind trees "we are here to help you get back to your pack just play along" suggested one of the men Leanna nodded and looked back at the castle before taking off as fast with the humans running after her on horses.

Asarious was watching and ordered men to kill the humans he thought were hunters. 7 guards came running out towards the humans to take Leanna back. Leanna ran as fast as her paws could take her before she noticed the scent has changed to her packs scent and knew she was home. She threw her head back and howled while she was running, her howls were met with the familiar voice of Zephyr. A black werewolf appeared and ran towards Leanna nuzzing her and licking her muzzle as soon as they met "dont hurt the humans, give them a home in the village they can't go back there now" Leanna thought to Zephyr, He looked at the men on the horses then back to Leanna and nodded "very well, they can actually live in the palace im grateful to them" Zephyr thought to Leanna

Just then a brown wolf came tumbling out of the forest whimpering at the embarassing way he got out of the forest "Marcus?" Zephyr thought to the wolf "the one and only, father is too distracted right now with the "hunters" can i stay please?" Marcus whimpered and whined "oh alright, but your getting protection from Asarious, he aint getting my brother back" Zephyr barked a laugh, he ran  to Marcus and roughhoused with him. Leanna watched with some amusement glad to finally be home where she and Marcus belonged
