She snuck back when it was night time but someone was waiting for her and it was Vaughn "Leanna don't you know how worried you made your family the school and most of all me?" he glared at her as he walked closer to her "i know and I'm sorry" Leanna looked down "now, thanks to that little mishap and trust me I'm not complaining about this one bit but your going to have to live with me, I'm getting a year pass from school to make sure you stay at the Van Helsing estate, you and me will be spending alot of time together and whether you like it or not we will be going out after that year" he grabbed her arm looking straight into her eyes. Next day Dani was moved to a private slayer school away from the Ravencroft Academy and Leanna was forced to pack her things and clothes. She sat on the bed after she was finished and cried "hey no waterworks i hate seeing you cry" she looked over and Zephyr was standing in the corner with a depressed look on his face "I'm sorry Zephyr, ill be leaving you and i hate it" he sighed and walked over and sat beside her caressing her cheek "don't worry, ill find you when you need me" he looked at her gently moving his head closer to hers lips almost touching "may i?" Zephyr whispered, she gasped softly giving eye contact "yes" was her response. Zephyr kissed her gently with the softest pressure of his lips to hers. The both of them felt this was so right like two perfect pieces of a jigsaw puzzle as they deepened the kiss unaware they were about to be disturbed.

Vaughn was walking towards Leanna's room to make sure she was packed and ready to go, he opened the door and found her with the monster is a passionate embrace and kissing. Zephyr pulled away and glared at Vaughn "do you mind its rude you know to interrupt" he mocked "good thing i did, Leanna get your bags and get to the limo while me and this demon talk" Vaughn ordered and Leanna obeyed but staying by the room to hear what was said "your just like Victor, pushy, jealous, obsessive...." Vaughn stopped him from going on about his ancestor "and your trying to bring back the past, Leanna is not Alera and i can assure you that will never happen you will never have her she is mine" Vaughn interrupted Zephyr before he walked away but not before hearing "never say never" Vaughn go into the limo where Leanna was crying still, the limo started moving until it was driving away from the school, Zephyr watched in dismay and followed them in the wood while he was in werewolf form

At the Van Helsing estate, Leanna was shown around and given a very luxurious room. Over the next few months Leanna wasn't happy, she missed Zephyr most of all and she had to force a smile whenever she was around Vaughn. One night , Vaughn was away and had told Leanna that he had some family business to discuss with his father in the city so she was by herself. Leanna looked in her vanity and sighed with depression when she heard a tap on the window, she looked around and saw Zephyr smirking, she opened the window and he stepped inside. "wow this is what your living in, not surprising considering who the lord of the manor is where is the little kid Vaughn?" "hes away tonight what are you doing here?" Leanna replied "ive come to take you away from here if you want to come that is" Zephyr asked and Leanna smiled softly and nodded "I knew you were like Alera she would of chose me too i guess I'm that irresistible" Zephyr mused "Oh you witty wolf take me away from this gilded cage ive had enough of this" Leanna told him with a wide smile "yes my lady". Zephyr then picked her up and jumped out of the window. After setting her down he changed into his werewolf form where she climbed on then they took off to the west deep in the forest.

An hour passed as Zephyr ran fast on his four paws and soon they came across a beautiful palace made of white marble where Zephyr skidded into the courtyard before changing back "this is my home, like my father said about the place in the school, that's our home away from this" he gestured grandly to to the palace. They walked inside and inside was completely white marble as well with plush rugs guiding them to the grand staircase, There was a little library area with a fireplace and shelves and shelves of books also with a writers desk. "Zephyr? are you home?" a female voice asked, a woman came down the stairs her long black hair in a braid she wore a simple white medieval looking dress, her eyes dark blue with flecks of gold in them, on her right hand was a wedding ring it was gold had 2 diamonds on the side and a blood red ruby in the middle with what looked like the Celtic Moon Crest which was a celtic moon with a paw print in the middle a wolf and a single star were inside the wolf paw  "who is this Zephyr?" she asked her voice sounding that of an angel "Leanna Hawkins mother" Zephyr replied "oh my, shes beautiful my son, take her into the parlor ill bring some tea out"
