Our body is the temple of the holy spirit, The indwelling spirit is connected to the divine spark within us. God gives us free will to choose to walk with him or to walk through life alone. God wants us to obey him, and acknowledge him in all of our ways. God wants us to walk in righteousness and integrity. When we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, we are taking up our cross, and crucifying our flesh. We are putting to death, Our will, In exchange for God's good and perfect will for our lives. As God's chosen people, we are called to be set apart even though we live in the world we are not of the world. We are called to be the salt of the earth, We are the light in the darkness, The voice of the people that are not in a position to protect, or defend themselves. How we treat ourselves matters to God, The foods we eat the types of activities we participate in.  Maintaining a healthy diet, with exercise yields many health benefits, yielding many fruits. If we harm our bodies with wrong choices,  we destroy ourselves and severely limit our quality of life in the process. God wants to use us as honorable vessels of righteousness., He wants to use us to minister to those in need, helping to build the kingdom of God. Living our lives for God is our reasonable service. Our Lord Jesus Christ died for the remission of sins, He died to give us abundant life When we are washed by the blood of the lamb When we accept him into our hearts as our personal savior. We become new creatures in Christ given a new identity, and a new life, all the old things fade away, All things are made new, When we live in Christ Jesus, and have our being. Our bodies are the vehicle for the soul's existence.
