Now that computers are used almost in every sector,computers, GPS or even the virtual assistant on your smartphone, humans are highly dependent on it.

As we are totally surrounded by machines and computer systems, this gave humans a general thought like “Can a machine think and behave like humans do? “. Though this was a general thought, its curiosity resulted in the appreance and development of artificial intelligence (AI).

 According to the definition of AI in Oxford dictionary , Artificial Intelligence is human intelligence simulated and performed by machines. The main focus of AI is to bring in advancement to computer functions associated with human intelligence, which includes reasoning, learning, and problem-solving.

It cannot be denied that this cutting edge tech has brought us loads of advantages and in many fields .  Artificial intelligence has revolutionized the world of business, astronomy, academic world, medicine, weather forecasting and so on . But i 'll just mention some of the highlight use of A.I

Since it's a product of a sophisticated system and the combination of Maths, Physics, Linguistic and Engineering. Complex programming helps these machines replicate the cognitive abilities of human beings.

In the medical field, Doctors can assess the patients and their health problem with the help of machine as it can detect and monitor any health disorders. It can even warn them about certain side effects of certain kind of medicines base on the data that had been inserted. Medical professionals are often trained with the artificial surgery simulators to practice and improve theirs skills.

Beside that, Artificial intelligence and the science of robotics can be put to use in mining and other fuel exploration processes. Not only that, these complex machines can be used for exploring the ocean floor and hence overcome the human limitations.

But i think the greatest benefit of AI must be . Due to the programming of the robots, they can perform more laborious and accurate  with greater responsibility. Unlike human, machines do not require sleep or breaks, and are able to function without stopping. They can continuously perform the same task without getting bored or tired. When employed to carry out dangerous tasks, the risk to human health and safety is reduced. A robot can handle the job of 5 people at a time and this could help reduce the cost of employment and shorten the rate of progress.

However, you can't have your cake and eat it, too. Disadvantages are inevitable.

Unfortunately, the biggest disadvantage is so close to its greatest advantage - unemployment.  If robots begin to replace humans in every field, it will eventually lead to unemployment. People will be left with nothing to do, leaving thousands of people jobless.
So much empty time may result in its destructive use.

Furthermore, With so much assistance from machines, humans do not need to use their thinking abilities, these abilities will gradually decline,  humans may become overly dependent on machines, losing their mental capacities.

Apart from those cons of AI, there is a fear of robots surpassing humans. if things turn out that way, the world would turn into chaos. Intelligent machines may prove to be smarter than us, they might take on ruling the world.

In conclusion, misuse of anything is bad.  in the case of machines, it’s even worse.
However, if we know how to take advantage of all stunning features that AI has offered us and utilize them wisely, your future'll be within your hand.
