"My dad Red could beat your mom any day of the week!" Violet spat, crossing her arms.

Amber laughed with no humor, "Yeah and that's why my mom is still Champion, and Red is just a professor!"

"You're lucky my dad is a professor, otherwise your mom would lose her title!"

"You're lucky if I don't punch you right now!" Amber growled.

Violet leaned her face toward's Amber's, "I'd love it if you would."

Amber clenched her fists together.

Amber's little sister tugged on her arm, "Amber, don't let Vi rile you up."

Violet smirked, "Once I get my Pokémon from my dad tomorrow, you and I are gonna settle this."

"You're going down!" Amber hissed.

"Whatever you say," Violet sang, pulling away and shrugging, "See you on the field."

Amber kicked a rock as Violet walked away, "I hate her! Why do Mom and Dad have to be friends with Red and Blue?"

Garnet sighed, "Stop letting her get to you! You know she loves when you scream at her."

"She won't love it when Chikorita give her what for..." Amber grumbled.

Garnet sighed, "C'mon, let's go home. Dad's finally gonna be home for dinner. Don't wanna miss him."

Amber sighed, "Okay okay, let's go."
