I can't believe I'm here instead of at home with my brother! Tammy thought glumly. Her brother Hugh was coming back from his journey for awhile and she wanted to be there when he got home. But nooo! She had to go to school!

"He'll pick you up at school!" Her mother had said. But she wanted to be there when he got back! She missed him so much! It wasn't fair!

In the middle of her teachers lecture, she abruptly stopped talking about...whatever she had been talking about. Tammy hadn't been paying much attention.

"So class, I'm sure you all have heard of Rosa" her teacher announced.

A classmate chimed in, "Yeah! She in those movies right? Isn't she from here?"

Before the teacher could answer, Tammy answered, "Yeah! She's friends with my brother!"

The kid next to her scoffed, "Yeah right! You just wanna sound cool"

"Nu-uh!"

"Yeah-huh!"

"Children!" The teacher cut in, "Please no arguing. You don't want to make a bad first impression in front of our guest!"

"Guest?" The whole class asked.

"Yeah!" A voice said from the hallway. All the kids looked to the door to see a girl with long brown pigtails walk into the room.

Tammy got up from her seat and ran over to her, "Rosa!" She chirped, tackling the girl in a hug.

Rosa seemed caught off guard by the hug, but returned it, "Hey, Tammy!"

Tammy pulled away, "Where's my brother?" She asked.

"Oh he's sleeping. Him and I were up late last night" Rosa explained casually.

"Training?"

Rosa blushed, "Y-Yeah...training...right"

The teacher cleared her throat and raised an eyebrow at Rosa.

"Ms. April!" Rosa chirped nervously, "How's it going...?"

Ms. April glared at Rosa in disapproval.

"What's it been? Eight years?" Rosa asked nervously.

"Sit down, Rosa" Ms. April said.

"Yup! That I can do" Rosa said quickly, going to Ms. April desk in the front of the room and sitting on top of it. Tammy returned to her seat.

"Just like old times huh Ms. April?" Rosa chirped.

Ms. April sighed, "Some things never change"

"You know Rosa, Ms. April?" A student asked.

"Yes. She was in my class when she was your age" The teacher explained.

"I was her best student" Rosa said arrogantly.

"No," Ms. April stated, "I'm sure that was Hugh"

Rosa shrugged, "Me...Hugh... same person"

"My brother was your best student?" Tammy asked.

"For that year, yes" Ms. April explained, "Though, he and Rosa often got into trouble"

"More like everyday!" Rosa exclaimed.

"What'd you do?" A classmate asked.

Rosa thought about it, "Hmm...Well Hugh and I once filled Ms. April's water bottle with gutter water"

"You mean you filled it with gutter water" Ms. April corrected.

"It was Hugh's idea!" Rosa argued.

"So why are you here?" Tammy asked.

"Tammy!" Ms. April scolded.

"Nah it's cool. I'm actually here to pick you up, because Hugh's asleep" Rosa explained.

"But school doesn't get out for another hour"

"Yeah I know. I'm cool like that"

Ms. April cleared her throat.

Rosa cringed, "And Ms. April told me she was teaching you about Zorua, so I told her I'd bring mine" she explained, grabbing a Pokéball from her bag and letting out the small fox inside.

Zorua yawned and sat on the desk, scratching its ear.

"This is Zorua," Rosa introduced, "It used to belong to my friend N. But when N left Unova, he left Zorua behind, so people who were close to N entrusted this little guy to me"

The young students gave an extended 'woah'. Zorua yawned in boredom and looked to Rosa like, 'Can we go?'

The rest of the hour consisted of Ms. April lecturing the children on the history of Zorua, and legends including the illusion Pokémon. When Ms. April asked Zorua to demonstrate its Illusion ability, it used its ability to look like Hugh because it knew it would make Rosa uncomfortable.

Ms. April was in the middle of a sentence when the bell rang, dismissing all the children. Zorua sighed in relief and returned to its normal form and took its place in Rosa's arms.

Rosa jumped down from the desk, "C'mon Tammy! We gotta get you home to see Hugh"

Tammy quickly grabbed her things and skipped over to Rosa, "I'm ready!" She chirped.

Tammy and Rosa walked all the way back to Tammy's house (which wasn't far of course) and walked inside.

Upon entering, Tammy yelled, "I'm home!"

No one answered.

"Hugh's probably still asleep, your dad's at work, and your mom is at the store. I'm thinking we go wake Hugh up" Rosa said. Zorua snickered in agreement.

"Okay!" Tammy chirped, taking her backpack and throwing it on the couch. She and Rosa bolted up the stairs and over to Hugh's room. Tammy quietly opened the door to reveal Hugh's room. Just as they thought, he was still sleeping. Liepard laid at the foot of his bed.

"Liepard!" Tammy whispered. Liepard opened one eye to look at Tammy, but closed it to go back to sleep.

Tammy scrunched up her nose, "I swear Liepard likes sleep more than me"

Rosa and Tammy tiptoed into the room, careful not to wake Hugh. Liepard heard them and took interest in what they were doing, watching curiously.

"How should we wake him up?" Tammy asked.

Several ideas popped into Rosa's head, but none of them were appropriate to do in front of his sister. Rosa shrugged.

Tammy decided she would suddenly scream bloody murder to wake him up, scarring Rosa, Zorua, Liepard, and Hugh.

Hugh bolted upright, wide awake, "What?! What's happening?" He asked quickly.

"Hugh!" His sister chirped, tackling her brother in a hug.

"I no longer have ear drums..." Rosa muttered. Zorua whined and pawed at its ears.

"What is going on?" Hugh asked quietly.

"You were sleeping so Rosa picked me up from school and then when we got here you were still sleeping so we came and woke you up!" Tammy explained quickly.

Zorua jumped on the bed next to Liepard and laid down. Rosa's eyes watched Zorua, "Yeah...I didn't think you would scream bloody murder though..."

"Oh..." Hugh muttered.

Tammy ran towards the door, "I'm gonna go make a snack! Do you want anything, Hugh?"

"No...I'm fine" he said, still dazed.

"Okay!" She chirped, exiting the bedroom.

Rosa placed her hand over Hugh's hand and kissed his cheek, "I'm sorry. I didn't think she would scream like that"

Hugh entwined their fingers, "It's fine" he assured, scooting over and pulling Rosa onto the bed, "I'm sorry you had to go pick her up"

Rosa rested her head on his shoulder, "Oh I don't mind. You were sleeping, anyway. I thought you needed a nap"

Hugh kissed her head, "Thank you"

"No problem" she sighed, "Now go brush your teeth. I won't be kissing you until you do"
