Towards the end

Also I wrote this at like 12 am sooo pardon any mistakes)

"Ghetsis" Rosa hissed. The leader of Team Plasma stood feet away from her, Kyurem at his side.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, Zorua in her arms. The fox Pokémon growled at Ghetsis.

"Relax" Ghetsis hissed, "All will make sense in due time. For now, I'll take immense satisfaction in destroying you"

Ghetsis pointed his cane at Rosa, "Kyurem use-"

"Stop!" A voice boomed as a large white dragon flew into the cave. The white dragon circled the cave, Ghetsis glaring at it all the while. The dragon landed next to Rosa and a person slid off of its back. Zorua squirmed in Rosa's arms.

The person looked down at Zorua and smiled, "Hello old friend" he said, placing a hand on Zorua's head. The fox Pokémon purred at the affection.

"N?" Rosa wondered aloud. N looked down at Rosa and nodded. Zorua barked in confirmation.

N looked to Ghetsis, "Reshiram told me Kyurem is suffering!" He stated.

"So?" Ghetsis spat.

"I cannot allow that to happen. I cannot stand selfish humans using Pokémon for evil intentions"

"Then sit down" Ghetsis said simply. N sighed.

"Well I'm glad you're here, boy" Ghetsis said, "I am in need of your Reshiram"

N scrunched up his nose, "What do you need Reshiram for?"

"I'll show you!" Ghetsis yelled, holding up a strange object.

"What's that?" Rosa asked.

"These are DNA splicers" Ghetsis explained, "See, when Reshiram and Zekrom split into two different Pokémon, Kyurem was left behind. It is a shell of a Pokémon, and using these DNA splicers, I can fuse Kyurem and either Reshiram or Zekrom. And it just so happens," Ghetsis pointed the device at Reshiram, "Reshiram fell right into my trap"

N panicked, "Reshiram get out of here!" He said.

Reshiram took off and attempted to fly out of the cave. Ghetsis however, was not willing to let that happen. The DNA splicers power encased Reshiram and forced it into forming a stone. The stone floated over to Kyurem, fusing with the Pokémon.

Kyurem took on many characteristics of Reshiram, including its white coat, tail, wings, and fire typing.

Ghetsis smiled evilly, "See?! Isn't this much better than an empty shell?!"

"I never would have guessed this..." N whispered, "That two Pokémon could fuse?"

Ghetsis laughed maniacally, "And you say you and Reshiram are friends! Just like a freak!"

Zorua growled.

"It's faint but..." N mumbled, "I can hear Reshiram's voice. It says they can be separated again..."

"It's hard to call you this but...Father! Please understand. Pokémon are not tools. Pokémon and humans take each other to greater heights. They are our wonderful partners. Some humans understand this. Why can't you?" N said.

"Don't talk like a human you freak!" Ghetsis hissed, "Kyurem, destroy them!"

Kyurem charged up a huge fireball. Rosa hugged Zorua close to her protectively as the move was thrown at them.

Suddenly, a ball of blue energy collided with the fireball and neutralized it, sending steam and smoke across the cave. A large black dragon slowly flew into the cave, landing directly next to Rosa. A girl made her way off of Zekrom's back and Ghetsis glared at her.

"You!" He hissed.

The girl said nothing, standing with her head held up. Rosa observed her; brown hair in a ponytail, white tank top, distressed jean shorts, a pink baseball cap, and blue eyes. She was about the same height as Rosa, if not a little bit taller. She radiated confidence, and it seemed this was not the first time she'd confronted Ghetsis.

"Did Zekrom tell you Kyurem was suffering too?" Ghetsis asked in a mocking tone. The girl continued to say nothing.

"Not so quick to make a comment anymore, are we?"

The girl crossed her arms.

"Here to save your freak of a boyfriend from an early death?"

"Ghetsis," She said calmly, "You don't have to be the bad guy. You can still be good. You can still be there for your family- your daughters...your son. I'll offer you one last chance- give up"

Ghetsis laughed, "Why would I give up world domination?! Who needs family when you have the world?!"

She took a breath, "I tried..."

She turned to Rosa, "Are you a trainer?" She asked.

"Yeah!" Rosa chirped.

The girl turned back to Ghetsis, "Take care of Ghetsis. I'll handle Kyurem"

"Okay! Got it!"

The girl climbed onto Zekrom's back.

"Wait, you're going in there?" Rosa asked in disbelief.

The girl smiled, "The first thing you should know about me is-"

"I'm a little bit crazy"

"Could it be?! My plans for complete and total world domination foiled yet again? No! It mustn't be! I couldn't have been defeated by some random Trainer from who knows where!" Ghetsis hissed, throwing a mini tantrum. Kyurem was now split from Reshiram, and N was holding the stone that once was Reshiram. Kyurem had retreated as soon as it was split from Reshiram, however.

"I'm from Aspertia..." Rosa mumbled, returning her Serperior to its Pokeball. Zorua was still in her arms, not even needing to enter the battle.

The girl was once again standing next to Rosa, her Zekrom next to her. Rosa stood in between the girl and N, and there seemed to be tension there. What kind, Rosa wasn't sure. She really hoped it wasn't bad.

"It's over Ghetsis," The girl said, "You're done"

"Shut up!" He yelled, slamming his cane on the ground. Suddenly, the shadow triad surrounded Ghetsis and took off with him.

"Where'd he go?" Rosa asked, annoyance in her tone.

"Who cares?" N hissed, "Good riddance..."

"N..." the girl sighed wistfully.

N turned to look at the girl, but said nothing. He just smiled.

Zorua barked and squirmed to get the girl's attention. The girl looked down at Zorua and scratched under its chin, "Hello, love. Nice to see you again"

Rosa looked down at her Pokémon, "Do you know everyone?" She asked.

The girl laughed, "I'm sorry, I never got your name"

"I'm Rosa! And it looks like you already know Zorua"

The girl smiled, "Yes. I'm Hilda"

"You were gone a long time" N commented suddenly. Both girls turned to look at him.

"So were you" Hilda retaliated.

"Cheren and Bianca are worried sick"

Hilda shrugged, "They're always worried"

"You know Cheren and Bianca?" Rosa asked.

"Yes, they're my friends"

"Oh! Can I be honest? Cheren is kind hot" Rosa said bluntly.

Hilda blinked in shock, "Cheren? Hot? Never heard those words in the same sentence before"

"Never?"

"Never"

"Oh"

Hilda shrugged and walked past Rosa to N.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

N laughed with no humor, "I don't know, Hilda. My only family just abandoned me"

"Not your only family" Hilda said, "You've got your sisters...You've got me"

N smiled, "Oh yeah?"

"Mhmm"

"Aaand that's my cue to leave" Rosa said awkwardly, scooting over towards the exit, "I'll just...leave" she stuttered, running out the exit.

"She takes care of Zorua now?" Hilda asked.

"I guess so" N answered, taking off his hat and pressing his forehead against Hilda's, "I missed you, you know"

Hilda giggled quietly, "I missed you, too"

Zekrom made a gagging sound.

"It says we're being gross" N said.

"Oh? Wanna be even grosser?" She asked, hovering her lips over N's.

"Yes" N breathed, bringing his lips down to Hilda's, and kissing her with everything that he had.
