"Daddy, why is your hair so long?" N's daughter Juniper asked as she and her brother ate breakfast.

Her brother Illusion waved his cereal spoon in the air, "Yeah? How come your hairs so long?"

"Your mother..." N sighed.

"What?" Both children asked.

N yelled to his wife, "Hey hun?! Can I get a haircut?!"

A few seconds later, his wife's voice answered, "Not unless you want a divorce!"

"That's why"

"C'mon losers!" Hau yelled to two of his friends, attempting to bait them into the water.

"Yeah c'mon! It's just a little sunlight!" Moon added.

"Exactly!" Gladion yelled back.

"What're you? A vampire?" Hau asked.

"Yes!"

"We burn easily!" Lillie added.

"So what? Don't be laaaaaammmeeee"

"We'll be lame if we want!" The siblings yelled.

"Creepy..." Moon whispered to Hau.

"Let's steal their umbrella" Hau whispered back.

"Good idea"

"Thanks mom"

Moon and Hau laughed before innocently strolling over to their friends.

Lillie raised an eyebrow, "What are you two doing?" She asked suspiciously.

"Nothing" both friends chimed.

"You're lying" Gladion stated.

"Why do you say that?" Moon asked.

"Your nose twitches when you lie"

Moon covered her nose defensively, "No it doesn't!" She denied.

She turned to Hau, "Does it?" She asked quietly. Hau just shrugged and lunged for the umbrella that was shading the Aether siblings.

The siblings just groaned and pulled out sunscreen from their bag.

"I'm gonna kill you if I burn" Lillie muttered.

"That sounds like an 'I give up' if I've ever heard one!" Hau chirped.

"I'll kill him regardless..." Gladion said under his breath.

Lillie and Gladion sprayed themselves down with sunscreen. They let the first layer dry and sprayed another layer on, just to be safe.

"Pshh sunscreen? Who needs sunscreen?" Hau asked.

"Losers..." Moon snickered.

"Ow! Don't touch it!" Moon yelled, slapping Hau's hand away from her burns.

"Dude! You're so burnt!" He laughed.

"Sunscreen's for losers, huh?" Lillie laughed.

The four friends sat at an outside table at the malasada shop. After a long day at the beach, they decided to get some malasadas. As the sun set, three friends continued to make fun of the champion and her sunburn.

"Laugh it up you guys!" Moon exclaimed.

"Oh we will" Hau snickered.

"Here" Gladion said, pulling a jar of lotion from his bag and handing it to Moon, "I figured Lillie or I might need this, but it looks like you're gonna need it. It helps with sunburns"

"Thank you Gladion" Moon said, glaring at her two other friends at the other side of the table.

"No problem. At least you look good in red"

"I don't know whether to be offended, or flattered" Moon admitted, rubbing the lotion on her burnt face.

"Take it however you'd like"

Moon sighed and rubbed the lotion on her arms and legs as her friends talked and ate their food.

Lillie soon went inside to use the bathroom, and Hau went in to get more malasadas for the road.

Moon poked Gladion's leg and he looked at her, eyebrows raised. Well, she assumed both of them were raised. His hair was always covering his eyes.

"Can you do me a favor?" she asked.

"Sure?" Gladion answered.

Moon blushed, hoping that it would be covered by the sunburn, "Can you rub this on my back?"

Gladion blushed and opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out.

"Please? I can't reach! My arms are too short"

"Can't you wait to get home or something?" Gladion asked nervously, blushing madly.

"If we are friends and you love me, you'll do it" Moon retaliated.

"Fine" Gladion huffed, putting some of the lotion on his hands. Moon turned her back to him and took off the shirt she had over her swimsuit.

"Oh my Arceus, how did this even happen?" Gladion asked as he examined the burn.

Moon blushed, "Can you just do it? It hurts"

Gladion rolled his eyes and brought his hands to Moon's back. He hesitantly let his fingertips touch her skin, feeling her flinch slightly at his touch. He gently rubbed the lotion into her back, not wanting to irritate the burn. He quickly removed his hands once he realized he was still rubbing her back even though no lotion remained on his hands.

"Thanks Gladion" Moon said, putting her shirt back on.

Just as she did so, Lillie and Hau came strolling out of the shop.

"Ready to go?" Lillie asked.

Moon picked up her uneaten malasada and tore in in half. She tossed the half at Hau who caught it and stuffed it in his mouth.

Moon giggled and stood up from her chair, wincing, "Yeah," she groaned, "Arceus, this is gonna suck in the morning"

"You have work too" Hau added, mouth full of malasada.

Moon groaned, "Don't remind me..." she muttered.

Gladion quickly stood up, standing straight.

"You okay, dude?" Hau laughed.

"Fine" Gladion lied, his voice an octave higher than usual.

"Whatever, man" Hau snickered, rolling his eyes.

"Last one to the Pokémon Center's a Slowpoke!" Moon yelled suddenly, darting in the direction of the Pokémon Center.

Hau rolled up his sleeves, "Oh I won't be a Slowpoke!" He yelled, running after Moon.

Lillie and Gladion made eye contact, shrugged, and chased after their friends.
