The not speaking thing was just a joke btw if you didn't catch my drift

I know you all did catch it

But I'm just trying to stall

So

You don't read the awful crap I just wrote

Heh heh...

Plz don't hate me)

"So...What's up Little Red Riding Hoodlum?" Hilda asked, placing her menu down on the table.

Silver gave a nervous smile, "Nothing! Just wanted to have dinner with my friend, is all!"

Hilda looked slightly disappointed by that answer, "You sure?"

Silver nodded.

Hilda shrugged, "Alright..."

A long silence clouded the pair as they looked everywhere except each other. Hilda played with the bottom of her black dress. Silver stirred his water with a straw.

Silver suddenly cleared his throat, "So actually, I wanted to talk to you about something."

Hilda raised a curious eyebrow, "Oh yeah? Go ahead."

Silver took a deep breath, "Okay...I just wanted to tell you that...for awhile I think I started..." he hesitated, "Fa-"

The waiter decided that was the moment to come around and take the pair's orders. Hilda cheerfully placed her order, while Silver slouched back in his chair and grumbled.

Hilda smirked at Silver once the waiter left, "No need to be a Negative Nancy."

Silver tsked, "Whatever..."

Hilda frowned, "Seriously...are you okay?"

Silver sighed, "I'm fine. I'm just tired."

Hilda sighed as well, "Okay...You can nap when we get back to the hotel room."

An inadvertent smile found its way to Silver's lips, "Yeah...the hotel room..."

Hilda rolled her eyes and took a sip of her strawberry daiquiri, "Weirdo."

Silver sent her a frown and Hilda chuckled, "Love you~" she giggled.

~~~
"Damn...That was some good alcohol," Hilda laughed, unlocking the hotel room she and her squad partner were to share for the night.
Silver rolled his eyes, "Ya know ever since you turned 21, you've become a real alcoholic."
"I had one drink, fuck off." Hilda chuckled.
The door unlocked with a ping and the pair entered.
Silver closed the door behind him, locking it. He watched Hilda stroll over to one of the beds and flop down onto it. She let out a big, content sigh.
Silver sat on the edge of the other bed, propping himself up in his knees, "Hilda...can we talk now?"
Hilda sat up and scooted over to the edge of her bed, getting closer to Silver, "Sure. What's up?"
Silver straightened his posture and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "So...Um...Uh...Y-You and I...we've...known each other for awhile...and..."
Hilda frowned, "Is everything okay?"
"Y-Yeah..."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"You don't seem oka-"
"You can't marry N!" Silver spat.
"What?" Hilda raised an eyebrow, "Why not?"
"Because..."
"Because why?" Hilda challenged.
"Because I love you!"
Hilda blinked in surprise, "What?" She whispered.
Silver realized the intensity of his words, and his face ignited into a deep crimson, "I-I mean...I like you," he corrected, "And I know you like me too!"
Hilda lowered her head, "Silver..."
Silver got up and walked over to Hilda. He grabbed the back of her knees, spread her legs, and pulled her flush against him.
Hilda gasped. The sudden intimacy made her ears burn.
"I know you like me too," Silver whispered, leaning in, "Just give in..."
He kissed her. He kissed her with everything he had...and she kissed him back. Hilda wrapped her arms around Silver and clutched the back of his shirt. Their lips moved in harmony, but their tongues wrestled for dominance. Soon, the brunette felt the redhead grind against her.
Hilda pulled away from the kiss to gasp Silver's name. Silver's lips focused their attention on Hilda's neck and jaw, making her shudder. She continued to feel him grinding against her, and Silver wished there weren't layers of clothes between them.
Hilda suddenly pushed Silver away, "No...we can't..." she said, gasping for air.
Silver dropped Hilda's legs and sat next to her on the bed. He took her head in his hand and turned her to look at him, "What? What do you mean?"
"N and Lyra-"
"-Fuck them." He sighed, pulling Hilda into another kiss.
This kiss was soft. Silver poured his heart into this kiss. Every ounce of his feelings went into it. He gently pulled Hilda's face closer to his as she gripped his sides.
When they pulled away, Silver pressed their foreheads together.
Hilda gave a shaky breath, "Oh...I love you too..." She confessed, giggling slightly. Silver smiled lightly.
"But..." Hilda said, frowning.
"No buts," Silver said, kissing Hilda again, "Just us..." he breathed as he pulled away.
Hilda looked up into the redhead's set of silver eyes, "Silver..."
Silver lowered his gaze, "I know it's wrong..." he took Hilda's left hand and glared at the engagement ring, "But you can't marry him."
A long pause rose into the air.
"You should be with me..."
Hilda started at the ring on her finger for what seemed like ages. Finally, she slid it off and placed it on the nightstand between the beds.
She slid her hands into Silver's hair, "What are we waiting for, then?"
Silver smirked as he kissed Hilda, pushing her back into the bed. He towered over her as he ran his hand up her thigh and up her dress.
He was going to show her how much she meant to him.
Even if it took all night.
