Wanna see?
(A/N. Who wants to see an unfinished rewrite??? No one? Oh well.)
Moon rushed over to Melemele Meadow in a hurry.
I'm late I'm late I'm late Gladion's gonna KILL me! She thought as she ran, dodging trainers and Pokémon at every step.
As she entered the meadow, she found Gladion and a few Aether Paradise workers talking amongst themselves.
"I'm here!" She exclaimed as she reached them, doubling over immediately after, "Here..." she wheezed.
"You're late." Gladion stated.
Moon fell to her knees, "Yeah...I just...Lana...Mallow...problem...ugh..." she wheezed, attempting to catch her breath.
Gladion offered her his hand, "Come on. Let's get started" he said. Moon blushed and took his hand and he helped her onto her feet.
Moon steadied her breath, "Okay."
"Rocky! Pom-Pom! Champion's throne!" Moon chirped, throwing her Pokeballs into the air.
A midday form Lycanroc and a pom-pom form Oricorio emerged from the Pokeballs. The Oricorio rushed to her trainer and jumped onto her shoulder, rubbing her face against Moon's. The Lycanroc immediately rushed in between Moon and Gladion, putting distance between the two and growling at the blond.
"Nice to see you too," Gladion told the rock type sarcastically.
Moon placed a hand on her Lycanroc's head and looked to Gladion, "So what's the deal?"
One of the Aether workers chimed up, "Well your Lycanroc here," he began, reaching to pet Rocky. The Pokémon attempted to bite the workers hand. The worker recoiled his hand and looked at Moon.
"Rocky doesn't like men..." Moon explained, "Sorry, I should've warned you."
"It's fine..." the worker said, unsure, "Anyways, Rocky is going to find the pack and attempt to convince them to let us move them to Vast Poni Canyon"
"And Pom-Pom?" Moon asked.
A female worker chimed in, "It's going to go into Iki Town," As she explained, she went to pet the Lycanroc at Moon's side, who happily let her, "and convince the other Oricorio to come back to the meadow once it's safe."
"If Rocky can't convince the Lycanroc to move by sunset, he should come back." Gladion added, "But I have full confidence that he will succeed."
Rocky rolled his eyes.
"Got it!" Moon chirped. She squatted down to be at eye level with her Lycanroc.
"Okay Rocky," she said, "Go look for that pack and convince them to let us relocate them. Okay?"
Lycanroc nodded.
"Good boy! Go ahead"
Lycanroc took off, stopping halfway to growl at Gladion when he noticed Gladion was a little too close to Moon for his liking.
"It's okay buddy!" Moon yelled, "I'll be fine!"
Lycanroc hesitantly ran into the grass and flowers of the meadow. After a few seconds, he was gone.
"Alright, move out." Gladion told the group.
"Wait, we're not staying?" Moon asked as the group turned to leave. Gladion stayed behind with Moon as the Aether workers left the meadow.
"We don't want to interfere with the mission," Gladion explained.
Moon hesitated. Gladion sighed, "Moon...You have to trust him."
"I do!" She exclaimed.
"Then come on. We'll be back at sunset. Rocky will be fine."
"Cori cori!" Oricorio soothed. Moon smiled faintly and scratched underneath her Pokémon's chin.
"Okay..." she sighed. She and Gladion began walking out of the meadow.

Trudging through the grossly pungent yellow flowers of the meadow, I searched for any sign or scent of a pack of Lycanroc.
How do Pom-Pom and Floraroma like these flowers? I thought, Their scent is WAY too strong.
I came upon a clearing with a small pool of water. I stopped for a drink. The water tasted slightly of how the meadow smelled, but I was thirsty.
Suddenly, an Oricorio came running out of the grass, screaming for its life. A small Lycanroc emerged soon after, chasing it. The bird Pokémon tripped on its own feet and cowered in fear, accepting its fate as this Pokemon's lunch.
The small yellow Pokémon reminded me of my own yellow team member, so before the wild Lycanroc could sink it's teeth in, I ran over and stood above the Oricorio, growling at the Lycanroc.
"What are you doing?" The Lycanroc growled, "You can't have that! It's mine!"
"I don't want it!" I barked.
I lowered my voice and head to speak with the Oricorio, "You'll be alright, I promise. Go into Iki Town. My friend Pom-Pom will take care of you until it's safe for you to come back here."
The Oricorio shuddered in fear, "I-I-Iki town?"
"It's south west of here. You'll know it when you see it. Go. You'll be safe there, I promise."
The Oricorio nodded and bolted off. When the wild Lycanroc went to go after it, I growled getting ready to attack.
"That was my lunch!" It snarled.
"Find something else."
This Lycanroc was much smaller than I was, so I saw it as no threat.
"Who are you anyway?"
"My name is Rocky. You are just the Pokémon I'm looking for." I said.
"Look, I'm not looking for a mate!" She growled.
I rolled my eyes, "Don't flatter yourself. You're much to small to mate with me."
She barked at me, "Oh please! How does such a big ego fit into such a small body?"
"Why don't you ask your reflection?"
She lunged at me. I sidestepped her and bit down on her tail. She whined as I threw her into the small pool of water.
I chuckled, "You're fast- I'll give you that. But you're pathetically predictable."
Stepping out of the water and shaking the liquid from her coat, she spoke, "What do you want from me?"
"I want you to take me to see your pack."
"Why?"
"Take me there and you'll find out."
"Fine," she huffed, "But no funny business!"
"Trust me, I'm not a fan of funny business."
As she led me to her pack, I asked her a simple question, "And what do they call you?"
"Kaipo," She grunted.
I scoffed, "Alright, Sweetheart."
Kaipo growled at me, not finding my nickname insightful.

"How's it going Pom-Pom?" Moon asked, watching her Pokémon scurry around Iki town.
Pom-Pom chirped a bunch of panic noises, so Moon assumes everything was going horribly.
All Moon could think about was Rocky. Was he okay? Did he need her help? Was he being ambushed by those Lycanrocs?
Looking around for Gladion or the Aether foundation members, Moon sent out her Ninetales; Frostbite.
Moon kneeled down to whisper to her Pokémon, "Rocky is in Melemele meadow. I'm worried about him, so I want you to go look for him. Assist him if necessary. Don't get caught by any Lycanrocs, though."
Frostbite nodded and ran out of town to Melemele meadow.

Kaipo led me to her pack, which composed of three males and one other female. On the way here, Kaipo mentioned the pack comprised of her parents and her brothers.
Each Lycanroc sat on different rock platforms, the alpha and his mate sitting at the top. Kaipo sat with her brothers on a platform lower than the alpha.
I held my head high, not going to be intimidated by a couple of wild Pokémon.
The alpha spoke, "Who are you, and why have you come?"
"I am Rocky," I said proudly, "I am the friend and trusted partner of the champion of Alola. She requests that you and your family relocate."
Kaipo and her brothers growled.
"You work for humans?"
"I work with humans."
The alpha began climbing his way down towards me, "For...with...same difference."
I kept a close eye on the alpha, keeping a calm demeanor.
Once the alpha got up close, I could see gray fur inching around his muzzle. He was the same size as me, so I held my head up and puffed out my chest. The alpha's two sons followed him. Once they were on the ground floor, they surrounded me on all sides.
"Your humans want us to...relocate?"
"You're disrupting the ecosystem..." I said, my eyes darting around to each Lycanroc on the floor.
"How so?"
"Killing and eating the Oricorio has sent them into town. You have to relocate so the Oricorio can come back here."
"That's not our problem."
"It is your problem!" I barked, "You're destroying yourselves!"
The brothers prepared to lunge at me.
"Rocky!" A voice cried.
The air around me became colder as a blue fox rushed towards me. The fox ran up and nuzzled herself in my neck fur.
"Are you okay?" She asked, pulling away. She glared at the Lycanroc surrounding us, "Are these ruffians bothering you?"
"A tad..." I admitted.
"What is this?" The alpha hissed, "Are you mating with a Pokémon outside of your own breed?"
"Oh please! Frostbite is not my mate!" I growled.
"Beat me over the head with it..." Frostbite grumbled.
I figured I wasn't going to be able to convince the alpha or his sons to leave. I looked up at the alpha's mate and Kaipo.
"Hey Sweetheart~"
