Oof time to talk about OCs

Pokémon Ocs are cool! Heck, I have TONS. But here's the thing.

If you're gonna make ocs, at least make them have good motives for their journey's purpose?

I'll use some of of my ocs motives as examples.

Carrena- Her Journey was a way for her to attempt to look for three years worth of missing memories (The amnesia is explained in another book of mine that is being worked on) and to make her father proud since he couldn't be there (No. He didn't abandon her. He died working for the International Police). She also join the said organization at an older age to follow in his footsteps.

Sirius- Sirius started her journey to follow her passion of astronomy, along with attempting to figure out the origins of her meteor shard.
Essentially, she's just enjoying something she loves.

See? Pretty well thought out?
If your character is just going on a journey to "get out of the house" then that's kind of boring. If you give their journey real reason, then they'll be more interesting.
