oh boy its time to probably accidentally trigger people.

alright. Here I go.

Unova is not a bad region. And no, it's not my nostalgia goggles making me think this way, I'm actually going to use some pretty valid reasons to why I think this.

1) A bunch of Unova Pokemon are actually really good in battling. A great example would be Keldeo, which according to Smogon is in the OU (Over Used) tier along with Pokemon like Serperior, Black Kyurem, Therian Tornadus, and Therian Landorus

2) It has some pretty dang adorable bug types. Based on what I've seen and heard, most Unovan bug types are pretty popular. 

3) It's Pokemon aren't uncreative. Kanto had a pokeball and eggs, so a trash bag and ice cream is fine. Its interesting to see inanimate objects as Pokemon in my opinion, and most look pretty neat. Especially Chandelure. 

4) It had amazing music. Most people say the best part of the Unova games were the music and the story. (*cough cough* gym leader final Pokemon theme is honestly one of the most encouraging themes in the game and Unwavering Emotions/An Unwavering Heart still attacks my feels sometimes) Speaking of story....

5) Gen 5 had a pretty good story! The characters were actually pretty likable (looking at you N fanboys and fangirls) and the rivals actually had really good character development! Especially Bianca! It also wasn't too story heavy like Gen 7, but had more than previous titles.
