Okay so I had an idea a while ago about an AU Where pokemon used sort of civilised lives without humans, and sort of lived with kingdomesque ranks, but then that evolved into some sort of Nuclear holocaust AU?

So basically, a rebellion of pokemon forms against the humans. Pokemon who have been hurt, abused by or simply disliked them will fight back. After a devastating war lasting up to 3 years, humans officially are considered extinct, apart from few who may have survived.

So, This was originally the plot for Pokemon taking over and acting as kingdoms, but afterwards I realised that that really wouldn't go as peacefully as I thought.

The mass destruction of the war shuts down cities and destroys almost everything. Cities have collapsed, and are now hidden under overgrown greenery and abandoned constructions of new towns. Everything is in ruins.

I imagine that the pokemon realise that they had downgraded, and that they would never be able to match up the advanced technology the humans had. With the lack of ability to manage funds and finances, poverty and hunger becomes a MAJOR thing. While everyone is struggling with how on earth they're supposed to cure their towns of hunger and provide lasting funds so that the weak government (which is already in shambles,) doesn't fall. Many pokemon are dying out of hunger and can't stand the unsanitary living conditions, so some retreat to the wild and act as wild strays again.

So, yeah, all that crap is happening.
And just to add even MORE stress, the water that cools nuclear plants has evaporated (coughcoughthanksrichestcoughcough), so mass nuclear explosions are a thing. Whoops. So now everyone is kind of stuck in a nuclear apocalyptic situation where the water is literally cancerous and almost everything living is either dying or already dead.

So you can imagine the pressure on the pokemon who has started the revolution, and the stress of dying at any second.
I also kind of imagine some crazy scene where the pokemon dying of poverty rebel against the government and like burn everything down while protesting and yelling outside. The first rebels against the humans are probably executed and literally everyone knows that this was a bad idea.

Also, all the explosions have created a Nuclear winter so everyone is ALSO dying of the cold. I'm probably going to be using this AU  a LOT and making a bunch o characters for it.

This AU is a bit scratchy in some places and isn't the best, but I think it's decently cool. If you ever want to use this AU for something, please ask first!
