E l e v e n | Her ✕ Nen ✕ Type

Alyssa's POV.

"What else do we need? Flour, cornstarch, sugar, chips..." I stated as I looked in our shopping bag.

"Thanks to Gon, we have to run into more errands." Killua stated.

"Hue, hue, hue~ Gomenasai~" Gon stated while bubbly tears flood out of his eyes.

"I-It's fine, Gon. You don't need to feel bad about it!" I hurriedly said while waving my hands.

"But...I broke the...window...n-now, the landlady...gave us...more errands." he sniffed.

I patted his shoulder as he turned to me while crying childishly, I smiled warmly at him.

"It's not your fault. You didn't mean to crash the soccer ball at the window, right?" I said softly.

"Yeah..." he nodded.

"Let's just finish buying the things in this list and go back to the church." I stated calmly as he nodded once again.

"Why the heck are you siding up with him, Alyssa?" Killua asked.

"Well, he just wanted to play soccer with the children. Plus, he didn't mean to break the glassed window." I stated.

Then I felt a pair of thin arms wrapped around me as I found my face slammed on Gon's chest.

"You're so kind, Alyssa!" he said.

I slightly blushed from his childish actions, but then I sighed happily and let him do what he wants.

"What the—?! GON!" Killua was fuming with anger as he walked up to us and pulled me away from Gon's warm embrace.

"Don't hug her, dammit!" he gritted his teeth as I noticed his cheeks were slight red.

"Aw, how adorable~!"

"Those boys are fighting over a girl."

"Children these days...are so bold."

I heard whispers here and there as my cheeks were burning from great embarrassment, then I remembered that I was still in Killua's hold.

"W-Well, we should go now." I stuttered as I got away from his grip.

Then I bent down and grabbed the bags and proceeded to walk, having the guys follow me from behind.

It's not what you think. I thought.

"Hey, you two. Can I ask you a question?" I said as we begun to walk while lifting grocery bags in our hands.

"What is it?" Gon asked as Killua just gave me a look that I can ask a question.

"I've been wondering for awhile now, but what is your Nen-type?" I asked the two of them.

They turned to face each other as they nodded before turning to me, then the silver haired boy tucked his hands in the pockets of his pants.

"When I used the divination water, there wasn't any movement at all. I thought I didn't had a talent back then, however, we realized that the taste of the water changed. It became sweet." Killua stated as he looked straight on the road as we walked.

"Sweet? So you are an Transmuter?" I asked as he nodded.

"Yeah, I can transmute my aura into electricity...like this." lightning danced through his fingers as I was simply amused by this.

"Wow, that's amazing!" I chirped.

"To be able to transfer your aura to mimic something is simply fascinating." I noticed that there were pink tints on Killua's cheeks as I could only chuckled

He's blushing again.

"How about you, Gon? What's your Nen type?" I asked the black haired boy.

"I'm an Enhancer." His head snapped towards me before grinning happily.

My pinkish eyes glimmered while I held my hands tightly. "Really? Your so lucky!"

"Why?" He asked as he titled his head.

"I've always wanted to be an Enhancer! You can strengthen the natural abilities of an object or one's own body. It is best suited for close-ranged melee combat." I stated.

"Thanks!" He smiled.

"By the way, what's your Nen type, Alyssa?" Killua asked me curiously.

My lips puckered before curving in a childish smile, much to cutesy.

"I am an Manipulator." I said.

Both of their eyes widened, seem to be surprised, especially Killua. I was confused by their reactions.

"Killua..." Gon stated as he glanced at him, then the silver haired boy lowered his head, completely upset?

Now I'm curious...

"I know." he muttered as his blue eyes adverted from mine.

"D-Did I said something wrong?" I asked as a sweat trickled down my forehead.

"No, you didn't. Being a manipulator is great." Gon cheered.

I shook my head. "It's not so great."

"Oh, why not?" he asked me.

"Well, there are lots of procedures for my ability to work. It's kind of troublesome..." I sighed.

"From the way you say it, it's like your ability is hard to use." Killua said.

"So what's your ability like?" Gon asked.

"Just like my Nen type, I'm able to control anything that I've touched, however, to control it fully, I must know it's name." I stated.

"Hmm, then what if the thing that you wanted to control has no name?" Gon asked.

"No name? What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, for example...how about the tree you controlled last night, did you know the tree's name?" he asked me.

"Oh, that? It's my Manipulation ability. By calling it's name, I could control is as I will."

Smoke fumed outside Gon's ears as I instantly knew he was having a hard time to understand what I'm saying.

"I see...it doesn't necessarily need to know what the victim is called, you can just control it." Killua said.

"Correct." he seems to get my point.

I was going to explain further when I was cut off when we suddenly saw a thief who quickly swiped the old woman's pursed and made in a run.

"Oh, no! My purse!" the woman yelled as she tried to chase the man.

"I'll give you a sample." I said as my lips curved in a smile.

My eyes searched for something good to control, then my eyes landed on the birds who were sitting in their nests on top of the tree.

I raised my hand up above before making my commandment uphold.

"Birds, stop the thief's movements!" I stated as the birds flew up and chased the man who was running with great speed while gripping on the purse.

Then the birds used its claws as they scratched the thief, making him drop the wallet. Cuts were visible in his skin as I walked up and bent down to grab the purse.

"Here is your purse, madam." I said softly while handing back her purse.

"T-Thank you..." she said as she grabbed her purse that is on my palm.

"Damn it, what's with these birds?! So troublesome!" then my head snap back to the owner of the voice as I saw the thief struggling in the bird's wrath.

"That is enough." I stated loud and clear as the birds flew up and went to its way.

Me and the old woman walked up to the thief who was covered with cuts all over his skin, blood ooze out from the open wound.

"You scumbag!" the woman screamed as she slapped the man's cheek.

"U-Um...mister, can I ask you a question?" I stated.

He didn't respond as he just looked on the ground, I'm not really good in threatening people. Even if it's my enemies.

"Why do you steal?" I asked.

"Isn't it obvious? Because he wanted to get some money fast, so he stole the woman's purse." I turned around and saw Killua and Gon walking up to us.

"Yeah, he's right." Gon agreed with him.

"Is...that true?" I stated as I don't know why but I felt sympathy with the man.

Even though people do bad deeds, there is always something that they are fighting for.

I took out my wallet and unleash all of my Jenny bills and handed it to him.

"I'm sorry, but this is all I have right now. Would this be enough?" I asked as I handed a 28,000 Jenny.

"H-Hey! What the heck are you doing, idiot?!" Killua was flabbergasted.

"Why are you handing him your Jenny, Alyssa?!" Gon asked, surprised as well by my actions.

"Are you mocking me?!" the thief yelled as he was about to grab me when in the speed of sound, Gon and Killua disappeared by my side.

Only to see Gon clutching the man's arm as Killua's sharp claws were near his neck, both of them have the intention to kill him if he moves.

"Don't move. My claws are more sharper than any knife." Killua stated.

"If you move, I'll blow you up." Gon stated.

I began to panic as I flapped my arms, afraid to see blood. "S-Stop it, you two!"

"Alright...I gave up." the thief stated as the two boys pulled away from him.

"Little girl, I apologize for being conceited. I also thank you for being too kind." he stated as I nodded.

"Then I'll be on my way." he said as he lifted his heel, then woman was about to argue when I tapped her shoulder.

"Could you let him pass this?" I asked her as she stared at me for a bit, making decisions, then she nodded.

"If you say so, little girl." she said.

The old woman also went on his way as we began to walk again.

"That's how my ability works." I stated as they both nodded.

"It's kind of useful." Gon commented.

"Anyway, I'm hungry. Let's grab some chocorobo." Killua stated.

"Sure!" the black haired boy agreed.

"B-But...I don't have any money left." I whimpered as Killua turned to me and he had this grimace face.

"You gave your Jennies to that stranger. It's not our fault if you don't have any money." he smirked.

I felt an imaginary boulder fell on my shoulders as it weight on my back, bubbly tears flow out of my eyes.

"No way..." I whined.
