N i n e | Dodge ✕ Protect ✕ Attack

A flash of lightning lit up in between the familiar and the pink haired girl as Nippongi was blown away by the magnificent electricity that has lots of current voltages.

"Don't space out during a fight, stupid!" a white haired boy yelled as he jumped in front of Alyssa.

"Killua?!" she blurted, surprised.

Then Gon finally reached them without breaking a sweat. "Are you okay, Alyssa?"

"Yes, I'm fine." she replied.

"Oh? So you finally showed up, Killua boy." the Witch cooed as her target finally came at last.

"What do you want from me?" the snowy haired boy snarled at her.

"Nothing much. Just your life." she said rather sweetly yet intoxicating while she raised her finger as the doll started to attack after her signal.

The Witch's familiar began to slash its blade towards Killua with great speed as he would just dodge every attack that she throws at him.

"Hey Killua, you alright there? Should I help?" Gon asked his companion who was busy fighting.

"Nah, no need. Stay out of this. You too, Alyssa. I can handle them both on my own." Killua, who was brimming with confidence, stated leisurely.

"You dare to mock me, brat?!" the Witch snarled as she rushed up to attack him as well herself.

Killua started to block every attack they blow with his weapon which were his nails that were sharper than knives and can cut deeper.

"We should help him, Gon." the pink haired girl suggested.

"No, we shouldn't. Killua is strong, let's just believe in him." the spiky haired boy replied.

"Lightning Palm!" electricity shoot out from his fingers as it traveled through the Witch's cells, making her immobilized to move.

Then he saw the doll defenseless as lightning sparked in his hands, he rushed in to exterminate the familiar.

"No! Don't kill her, Killua!" he was distracted from a certain female's voice who just yelled as he halted.

Then the doll attacked him as he flashed his electricity, she was burnt from the shock wave.

"Are you stupid?! If I don't kill her, we'll die. Stop distracting me!" he scolded Alyssa loudly.

"B-But that's the little kid earlier at the Clock Tower!" she said.

Killua turned to the doll as he saw the resemblance from the girl that Alyssa gave cupcakes to earlier.

"Yeah, so what?" he asked.

"Don't kill her!" she whined.

"Why not?!" he asked again.

"She's just a kid!" she reasoned out.

"She is not a human kid. She's the Witch's familiar. Can't you tell it just by looking?" he says as it the matter of fact.

"B-But...!" she says, not knowing what to say as she stared at the doll.

"He's right, Alyssa. Don't let looks deceive you. It's dangerous." Gon stated seriously.

She stared at the doll who was attacking Killua. No way...I couldn't believe it...

"Were you amazed by my aura earlier?" the Witch asked.

"I used up my Nen to create an aura to make my familiar look like a human kid. To think that it works efficiently more than expected...how amazing."

Killua stood in front of Alyssa while electricity were dancing through his fingers as he spoke with a low tone.

"What's necessary in a fight isn't fear, nothing could be born of that." he says to her without glancing at her as his eyes stayed on his target.

"When you dodge, don't let them cut you. If you protect someone, you don't let them die. And if you attack, kill them." he finished before rushing up to attack the Witch.

Killua electrocuted the Witch to immobilize her movements which successfully delivered. Then Gon rushed up ahead of him as his hand was glowing brightly.

"Rock...paper...ROCK!" he screamed his battle cry before inflicting the blow towards the female.

"It won't work!" she wasn't damaged by the attack that those two inflicted.

"Our attacks had no damage?!" Gon gasped, utterly surprised.

"Even when we combined our attacks? It didn't even scratched her?" Killua says, bewildered.

The unnamed Witch began to laugh hysterically as she grimaced after seeing the confused faces of the young heroes in front of her.

"Nippongi, attack the boy with green clothes!" she spoke.

"Yes." the doll quickly replied after grabbing her two swords and rushed up to the black haired boy.

"Gon—?!" the white haired boy was cut off when the female appeared in front of him out of nowhere.

"I caught you~" she sing-sung, then she grabbed Killua's bare neck and lifted him up in the air while strangling him.

"L-Let go...you...Witch!" he murmured while being chocked in her muscle-tight grip.

"Yeah, I wasn't wrong. That darkness in you is so....delectable!" she smirked as she strangled him more.

He flinched from the pain and then gathered lightning in his hand before dumping it towards the Witch, however, the attack was futile.

"Like I said, you're buzzer wouldn't hurt me anymore..." she says while digging her nails in the skin of his throat.

I can't...breathe! he thought as he tried to struggle away from his grip.

"Stop struggling, you won't get away. Your friends won't be able to sa—?!" a huge hand made of tree trunks suddenly came out of nowhere and punched the Witch.

She was blown away from the sudden attack as Killua turned his head to where the attack came from and saw a certain pink haired girl who was brimming with enormous Nen.

"Are you okay, Killua?!" she asked.

"Y-Yeah...was that your attack?" he asked, bewildered.

She nodded as they felt someone made a thud, they both turned around and saw the doll fell down on the ground, unable to function.

"Are you guys alright?!" Gon asked after his enemy was all beaten up.

"Yeah." the white haired boy said as the other girl nodded.

"Curse you..." they heard someone murmured as the three of them looked up and saw the Witch blown up on the crashed wall.

"curse you...curse you...curse you...curse you...curse you...curse you...curse you...CURSE YOU!!" someone yelled as the Witch glowed with great hatred and malice.

She flew from his position and rushed up towards Killua as she grabbed his neck and pushed him against the wall with a speed of sound.

"L-Let me feed...from your...darkness, your hatred...your weakness!" she said huskily while strangling him.

"Those stuff...doesn't exist in me at all!" he screeched as a huge volts of lightning began to shoot up from different directions

The flash of lightning glowed in great brilliance as it was over few seconds later before disappearing in thin air. As for the Witch, she was burnt into crisps by Killua's lighting.

"Killua! Are you okay?" Gon asked as he and Alyssa ran up to the white haired boy hurriedly.

"Yeah. It was a piece of cake." he boasted before tucking his hands in his pockets.

"However, what I was curious is about why the Witch was obsessed about me. She said something about my darkness and stuff." he added.

"Well, Witches feed in people's darkness and hatred after all..." Alyssa said as as the two boys turned to her.

"Naturally, they hunt for humans with great darkness within them. Filled with hatred, anger, and jealousy feelings...they feed in our feelings as they get stronger and faster."

"Now that makes sense," Killua muttered as he nodded.

"So the Witch hunted me because she thought that I had those negative feelings within me?"

"Yes, probably...when facing a Witch, they have the ability to read human's heart which is a great disadvantage to us because they know how we feel."

"But not what we think, right?"

"Yes, however, there might be subtle clues that our hearts will reveal what's in our minds."

"Then you need to fight them without hard feelings?"

"If you can, that's good. People tend to show their true selves once you see what's inside their heart..."

Then a fumes of smoke chimed out of Gon's ears as the two turned to him.

"W-What's wrong?!" Alyssa was flabbergasted.

"It's fine. It just means that he can't understand a thing about our topic." Killua assured her.

"Oh, in shorter words, you have to fight them with light feelings. Something like that." she giggled.

"Light feelings? Yeah. Got it!" Gon cheered as fumes were still smoking out of his ears.

The both of them sweat dropped in how low Gon's uptake in mental situations, what a slow-learner.

"Anyway, let's get somewhere to crash for the night. The apartment is all wrecked up." Killua suggested.

"Yes, I agree with you." Alyssa replied.
