"Murder is born of love, and love attains the greatest intensity of murder."
A girl with long salmon hair tied in pigtails run in the depths of the woods for her life as she was being chased by a certain beast that was after her life.
Hopping from tree to tree in order to escape, the beast was quick but she was still in the lead while using her legs to its full power.
Though luck wasn't in her side as she tripped from the tree's roots, her face fell flat on the ground as she slowly sat up while massaging her wounded forehead.
She heard the growling of the beast as she looked up and saw that it was almost trying to reach her. She began to stand and ran again but her legs just won't listen to her commands.
My legs won't move...
Feeling panic, tears began flowing out of her eyes as she began to punch her legs to stand. "Come on...stand...!"
Knowing it might be the end of her she closed her eyes shut and waited for the beast's sharp canine teeth to graze her mercilessly.
She began to trembling while still on the ground, unable to move. Then the sound of ripping of flesh pierced the air as she opened her eyes and saw blood all over the place.
The huge beast fell on the ground, who just died from the horrific hands of the person standing in front of her.
She unconsciously stared at the person's bloodied hands; they're nails were long and sharp, not only that, there were also veins popping on his hands.
Her savior turned around and faced her as the first thing she noticed was how beautiful his eyes were, it gleamed so brightly, so magnificently.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
That was the first statement that he told her as this person was the one who was going to change her whole life.
The sentence rolled out of his tongue as it sounded like sweet, honey, melodic like sound. His voice was indeed pleasing to the ears.
"Y-Yes, thank you." she replied.
This boy had an attractive appearance consisting of snowy white hair and sparkling sky blue eyes, he began to wipe off the blood from his hands with his handkerchief.
"Can you stand?" he asked again.
"Yes." she spoke as she attempted to stand but soon then crashed on the ground. "I-I think I can't...."
Then the boy crouched down and held his back to her as he turned his head to her. "Climb aboard."
"But..." she says with hesitance.
"If you aren't going to climb, I'll go on my way now." he says as he was about to stand up when she tugged on his white shirt, making him stopped in his tracks.
"W-Wait...please carry me!" she says hurriedly, changing her mind.
"Sure." he said coolly and lifted her feet up in the air as he carried her in piggy-back style.
"U-Um...thank you very much." she whimpered while being carried by him.
"It's fine." he nonchalantly replied as he started walking with her on his back.
"Why did you save me...?"
"Oh, did you preferred in not being saved at all?"
"N-No, that wasn't what I meant at all. It's just...why would you save an stranger like me who is unknown to you?"
"Dunno. I just thought that I'll regret it if I didn't rushed to save you."
She didn't know who this boy really was but she didn't regret meeting him in her supposed death flag.
They've reached the end of the forest and was basked by the sunlight once again, he placed her down on the ground, on her feet as she was able to stand on her own.
"This is as far as where I can take you, I still have some things I had to do." the boy says while looking at her.
"Yes, thank you very much. What could I do to repay you?" she says with respect to her savior.
"Like I said; it's fine." he irked.
"B-But...you saved me." she says.
Then he patted her head as he smiled at her lightly.
"Just take care of yourself. That's all." he says as he started walking away while his hands in his pockets.
She stretched her hands to reach him as she opened her mouth to say something to stop him, but it backfired as her tongue was tied in knots.
I wasn't able to get your name...

The little girl began to walk aimlessly by herself as she was lost in the city, sighing, she felt exhausted.
"I'm tired..." she moaned as she sat on the bench nearby.
She began to move her legs and wondered why it couldn't move efficiently earlier.
I could've had defeated that beast, if it only weren't the pain in my legs.
She looked down on the ground and started to wonder what to do next after travelling in the unknown city.
"Hey, are you alone?" a soft voice spoke as she looked up and saw a boy with spiky green hair.
"Yes, are you perhaps...alone too?" she asked back as the boy nodded.
Both of them sighed, then the boy looked up to her. "Mind if I take a seat beside you?" he asked.
"Oh, sure. Feel free." she says while scooting aside to give him a seat.
"Thanks." he grinned as he sat on the bench beside the female.
"My name is Gon Freecss! What is your name?"
"My name is Alyssa."
That was the start of their friendship that whimsically happened by chance.
"I am here to meet up with a friend of mine, you see...But I don't have a clue where he is." Gon says.
"Oh, really? I hope you'll able to meet them sooner or later." Alyssa smiled.
"Yeah. What about you? Why are you here in YorkNew?"
"Me? Oh...I was told to come here by the 13th chairman, Pariston-san."
"By the chairman? Why?"
"I also don't know, but I think I'll find about it later."
"Hmm...okay."
They were in the middle of the silence as they looked up at the sun up above, then Alyssa's phone rung as she excused herself to Gon so she can answer it.
"Hello?" she says to the person on the other line.
"Hey there, Alyssa-chan. Where are you now? I'm at the sky tower, waiting for your arrival." the person at the other line said.
"O-Oh, is that so? I got it." she answered back.
"Anyhow, why are you so late? I thought that we should meet each other at 2:00 PM?" he says.
"I ran into trouble earlier, sorry. I'll go there as fast as I can!" she says.
"That's assuring, but please don't rush. You might fall." he says.
"Yes, thank you. Goodbye."
"Goodbye."
The line ended as she tucked her phone in her pockets and ran back towards Gon.
"Who was that?" he asked.
"It's Pariston-san. I have to go now, Gon. Will you be okay on your own?" she asked the boy.
"Yeah. Good luck." he added.
"Yes, you too." she smiled.
The both of them waved at each other as the pink haired girl began to run to her destination which was the sky tower located at the heart of the YorKNew.
She began to take the stairs in great speed as the elevator was filled with many people, the sky tower was at the top of the place.
But anyone can reach there as long as they have stamina, then she was about to enter the lobby when a guard blocked her path.
"You're not allowed to pass." the guard said to the little girl.
"Why?" she asked.
"Because this is an restricted area, children aren't supposed to be here."
How am I supposed to enter now?
"There is someone I'm supposed to meet with!" she says while trying to walk pass the guard.
"Then you'll have to wait till that person gets out." the guard irked.
"I-I can't do that!" she says, struggling to get in.
"What's going on here?" a female voice asked as they both turned around and saw a girl with green hair and matching puppy ears and puppy nose.
"Cheadle-san!" Alyssa exclaimed as the guard was awe surprised to see one of the zodiacs in here.
"Oh, Alyssa. What are you doing here?" the green haired girl asked.
"I'm here to meet with Pariston-san." she answered making the guard surprised.
"With that guy? Jeez..." she growled.
"But I can't get in because the guard said that children aren't allowed here." Alyssa pouted while glancing at the guard beside her.
"Just show him your Hunter License, he'll let you in."
"Oh, why didn't I think of that?"
Alyssa's hands went in her pockets to grab her license as she showed it to the guard who was more surprised.
"A-A hunter license? In your age?"
"Yeah. Mind letting her pass now?" Cheadle abruptly says.
"Y-Yes...come in!" the guard was flabbergasted as she let the two females entered the tower.
"Talk about being rude, aren't we?" Cheadle huffed.
"It's fine. It happens all the time." Alyssa sweat dropped.
"What does Pariston wants from you anyway?"
"I don't know. I received a message to meet him here in YorkNew."
"I see. For my case, I came here to see how magnificent this Sky Tower really is."
"Is that so? I've heard it's pretty here."
"I've also heard that."
They've reached the place as they began to walk in their own paths by themselves, bidding goodbyes.
Alyssa finally reached Pariston who was seating on a table for two, she hurriedly ran towards him and bowed.
"S-Sorry if I was late, Pariston-san!"
"It's fine. Take a seat." he says as he flashed a smile.
Just like he said, she took a seat across him as they started the main business on the road already.
"I have a mission for you, Alyssa-chan." he says as he showed her some paperwork.
"What is it?" she asked while scanning the pile of papers.
"Remember the previous incident about the attack of Chimera ants back then which caused Netero's death in battling against the King?" he started.
"Yes." she answered.
"We have a new enemy against humanity, and this one is much more stronger than the ants." he says.
She puts down the files as she looked up to him straight in the eyes.
"Our new enemy are the Witches."
