S i x t e e n | Boat ✕ is ✕ Sinking
Killua's POV.
I reached the toilet as I went to the washroom to drizzle my hands in the cold water passing through the faucet, I looked up and saw my reflection on the mirror.
I look pale.
Somehow, I'm getting bad vibes from the food offered to us as I didn't eat or drink anything at all. Now I'm getting kind of perky and began craving for chocolates.
THUD!
CRASH!
I heard some noise coming out of the restroom as if something was falling and crashing the stainless floor, I went out to take a look what it is all about and to find myself surprised.
All of the people who are eating in the dinning were all fast asleep.
My eyes roamed around the chairs as it spotted two familiar people and I began to rush up to them, as expected, they were also fast asleep.
"Gon! What happen? Wake up." I shook Gon's shoulder to wake him up, but he wouldn't open his eyes nor move an inch.
"Alyssa! Open your eyes." this time, I shook Alyssa's shoulder. Just like Gon, she was also fast asleep.
What the heck happened here? I thought as I began to panic that I couldn't them up.
I heard heavy footsteps approaching the dinning area as I felt my feet turned cold, judging from the footsteps, it's only one person, and they are probably the culprit.
I sat up back to my seat as I leaned on the chair and closed my eyes shut, pretending to be asleep. I'll just patiently wait for the culprit to come inside.
CLICK!
The doors creaked open and then closed, the culprit's footstep began to get louder each second passed by as she began to walk closer towards the table. I wanted to open my eyes to see his face but I might get caught.
"I found her..." the voice belong to a woman, it was soft and calming yet filled with danger.
I found her? Who? I thought as my eyes were still closed.
"This is the one, huh? She doesn't seem that strong to wield it. She looks like a wimpy brat." I heard the culprit grab something and pulled it up.
Out of curiosity, I slowly opened my eyes to see what was happening as my eyes widened and realized the situation.
A Witch was gripping on Alyssa's wrist as she was held up in mid-air, unconscious and completely vulnerable.
I suddenly felt really anger as I glared up to the Witch pinning her in the air, that I didn't realized that I was letting a huge amount of blood lust out. She must have picked up on it as she turned around and made an eye contact with me.
Shoot! I got caught.
"Oh? Impressive. You are able to stay awake after taking a bite out of my drugs...that's the first that someone withstood it." she smirked.
"I didn't eat anything." I inquired.
"What? Why not? Didn't my cooking looked delectable?" she purred.
"Yeah, it really looked delectable. I sensed something peculiar about the dish so I didn't ate any." I said.
Her eyes widened as she seemed to be so much surprised, but then went back to her composure. She dropped Alyssa down on the ground and turn all of her attention to me.
"Oh? You caught my interest, boy." she smirked.
A one-sided battle against a Witch, huh?
"What a slick of you to drug these passengers, you must be the culprit of all of this!" I yelled.
"Culprit? No way. I'm just an alibi. The true mastermind is within this ship." she said.
She isn't the Culprit? I couldn't believe that mg accusation is wrong.
"But you are just as guilty! Agreeing to work with the Culprit." I reasoned out.
"Well, yeah...I guess? It is all because I need to retrieve an proxy, which is just a piece of trash." she gritted her teeth while steeping on Alyssa's face with her heels.
"Don't you dare do that!" I scowled.
"What are you gonna do about it? Little boy?" she hummed as she continued stepping on Alyssa's cheek.
"I'll kill you, Witch!"
Electricity traveled through my muscles as flow efficiently and profound, it's been awhile since I've been so much pissed like this.
"How flashy!" she chirped.
I ran up to her as I flashed her electricity running through my fist, which she easily invaded and grabbed my wrist that wasn't sparking with electricity.
"Flashy boys aren't us women want!" she yelled as she kicked me on hips.
That hurt! I spit out blood as I moved away, then I rolled my pair of yo-yo's and flew it directly on the Witch. The strings tied around her body, that's when I used it as my golden opportunity to electrify her.
"ARGHHH!" she yelled in pain.
Seconds later, I freed her from my electricity and yo-yos. Her skin burnt into crisp as her body fell on the ground.
That was surprisingly ea—
I felt something snapped on my back as I slowly turned around and saw a needle pressed up to my skin, then something liquid flow up to my skin.
"You must be surprised, aren't you? Lowering my guard, letting you think that you've got me as I slipped in my special attack which is Poison!"
She laughed manically as she thought that she got me. "How does it feel? To have a poison flowing through your body? Amazing, isn't it?"
My eyes turned darker as I gaze up to her, I noticed her flinch but instantly hid it by laughing hysterically.
"What now? Does it hurt so much that you can't speak?!" she yelled.
"No, it feels normal." I replied.
In the speed of sound, I rushed up to her and used my sharp fingers to dig in her muscles and grab her heart.
"The fastest way to kill a Witch is to assassinate their hearts."
All I have to do now is to crush it, completely. I was about to smash it to pieces when I heard her say something.
"Even if you managed to...kill me, you will d-die anyways..." she spoke.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"T-The ship is sinking...in matter of minutes, the w-water levels will rise up here and drown...a-all of you, and then you'll die..." she coughed her blood out.
"What?!" I was astonished.
"All of you...w-will die, with him..."
Those were her final words before closing her eyes and leading to her death. Damn, just right when I'm gonna ask whose the culprit.
"Wait...she said that the ship is sinking...Shit! I gotta get Gon and Alyssa out of here." I panicked.
I quickly picked up the two of them and run out of the dinning area, leaving the unconscious passengers and the corpse of the Witch all behind.
I ran through the hallways, finding a way out. I reached the exit below, however it was flooded.
I put the two of them down momentarily as I shook Gon's shoulders violently. "Damn it, Gon. Wake up already!"
After couples of shaking, his eyes fluttered open and met my gaze. He yawned. "That was a good nap."
SMACK!
I hit him on the head as he whined, "What was that for?!" he yelled.
"Snap out of it, idiot! Were in pinch here. If you don't want to die, hurry up and cross this flood." I yelled.
His eyes widened as he saw our only exit to be flooded. "W-Whoa! What happened in here?!"
"The boat is sinking!" I told him.
"What? Seriously?!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah, seriously. Hurry up and cross now." I sternly said as I lifted Alyssa in bridal style and began to cross in the flood to get to the other side.
"What happened to the other passengers?" he asked as he tailed me.
"They're still at the dinning area, plus a Witch came and attacked me." I said.
"What? A Witch came?!"
"Yeah. She's already dead so no worries. About the passengers, if they won't wake up by now, they'll drown and probably die."
"Why didn't you wake them up?!"
"I don't have the luxury to save other people right now! All I could save was you and Alyssa." I yelled.
I will save you two, no matter what.
