"Hey Gon, Killua, have a minute?" Alyssa asked her two friends who were playing games with the children.
"Oh, sure." Gon stated as he and Killua stood up and exited the room.
They walked through the hallways, a little bit far from the room they were at before. The two boys trailed after the girl's back who was passing quietly, then she stopped walking as the two stopped as well.
"What do you want to talk about?" Killua asked whose hands were hanging around at the back of his head.
"Yeah, what is it all about?" Gon asked who was carrying his yellow backpack.
"There is a Witch inside this church." was the single phrase that she said without sparing a glance at them.
"Seriously? But we couldn't even track them, let alone sense them." the silver haired boy stated.
"They are able to hide their presence without us noticing, we even used our En to spot them, still no luck..." Gon stated.
"That is possible, there is another ability where you are invincible that has nothing to do with Nen or Aura, it just feeds from your hatred..."
The two young boy's started to think about what she said, until they realized something about the incident back then that took place in the Heaven's Arena.
"Can it be...the immense power that Gon used back then..." Killua said.
"The power of hatred...On...?" Gon said.
"I've only heard a few about this stuff, it is much stronger than Nen, however it feeds from your anger so its dangerous." Alyssa stated.
Then she came to realize something. "Wait, Gon...you used the power of On?!" she asked.
"Yeah, back then when we were at the Heaven's Arena. We were just visiting our old friends there, until some bad guys appeared. Netero-san was taken hostage, Killua was beaten up, so I made a contract with On and defeated our enemy which is Jed." Gon said.
"Isn't that dangerous...?"
"Well, Gon's head is made of steel. So it's okay."
"I guess so..."
"Anyway, so the Witches can use On?" Gon asked.
"From the looks of it, they can. I also didn't know there was one here until Rosalie-san told me so." Alyssa said.
"Who's Rosalie-san?" Killua asked.
"Oh, she's the director of this church and the owner of the apartment that we blown up last night." she explained.
"That old woman's name is Rosalie?! No way! It doesn't fit her!" he bickered.
"Well, don't be so harsh on her, Killua. She isn't as bad as you think." she said once again.
"But she's scary when she's angry!" Gon stated.
"Is there ever a time she wasn't angry?" Killua retorted.
"Then she's always scary!" Gon cried.
Alyssa chuckled. "This is a job request from Rosalie-san, worth 30,000,000 J."
"Cheap." Killua commented.
"Well, maybe Rosalie-san is broke?" Gon stated sheepishly.
"Let's just get on the roll, shall we?" Alyssa stated as the two boys nodded.

The sun passed by as the skies turned dark, another stage for another fight. It will took place inside the church.
The doors of the church creaked open as the three of them entered inside quietly, the night rays reflected upon them as it was one tranquil night, (or it was supposed to be).
They began to take 15 steps forward, and in the last step, Alyssa would bump into something and Killua would stifle a laugh in her dumbness.
"What's wrong, Alyssa?" Gon asked.
"N-No, nothing. I'm just getting sleepy." she broke in a small smile.
"You're already sleepy? It's still nine o' clock." he said.
"Well...it became my habit of sleeping early." she smiled.
"Sleeping once the clock strikes nine, what a kid." Killua teased.
"W-What's wrong with sleeping earlier?" Alyssa stated.
"Only kids sleep early at nights."
"B-But...they said that you will grow taller if you sleep more early..."
Then Gon and Killua laughed at this as Alyssa blushed even more and she began more embarrassed.
"W-What so funny?!" she was flabbergasted.
Killua laughed as he slowly shook his head. "Nothing...it's just that, now that you've mentioned it, you're so small!"
"Wha—?! You two are just merely two inches taller than me. Stop mocking my height." she huffed.
"But it doesn't change the fact that I'm taller than you which means I could call you midget." Killua teased.
"I'm not a midget!" Alyssa cried.
"Well, well...you'll still have the chance to grow tall. You should try drinking milk." Gon cooed.
Bubbly tears started to form in her eyes, "Even Gon is teasing me?!"
"N-No, I—well...maybe a little. I can't help it, it's so much funny." the green clothed boy chuckled.
Then the little girl who was being teased walked away with a small pout on her face, feeling displeased by her companions entertainment.
"I swear, once I've grown taller than you two, you'll swallow everything you've said." she murmured.
Alyssa began to cry childishly as she was being teased by her friends, due to her lack of height. Well, she was still a blooming girl who was still in the linage of growth. She'll probably grow taller.
"But Alyssa, are you sure that there is really a Witch here? We've been looking for awhile now and we haven't spotted one." Gon mused.
"Isn't this just a prank or something?" Killua asked.
"It couldn't be a prank since Rosalie-san is paying us, she wouldn't lie." Alyssa said.
"Well...that old woman doesn't seem to be the type to prank nor waste money..."
Gon was walking through the church, in their mission. He noticed the slight shifting of the table, it was rattled by something which made him curious why the table moved when there wasn't any strong gust passing by.
Due to his curiosity, he became alert and began to draw closer which made his heartbeat pumped blood faster, meaning he was slightly nervous. His senses were disarray by this curiousness.
Spotting a lace of white, he stretched his arm towards it and pulled the tip, finding a long white blanket on the edge of the table, hiding.
"Hey guys, want to spend the night in the church? I've found a blanket that's big enough for the three of us!" Gon yelled across the place while holding a long piece of clothing.
The other kids turned their attention to him as they liked his idea and nodded, agreeing to spend the night in the so cold church.
"It looks like that they won't appear tonight." Killua stated.
"Yeah...I also think so, too." Gon hummed while holding on to the blanket.
"What should we do?" he asked as he raised his head and made an firm eye contact with his companions.
"I can still go on—" Alyssa was about to fall when Killua caught her in his arms just in time, she was getting sleepy.
"Oh, I'm sorry." she softly says as she straightened up and stood on her own.
"Hey Gon, we should hit the sack. Alyssa is sleepy." Killua suggested.
"N-No, I can still go on the search! I'm not really that tired yet." Alyssa stated while waving her hands.
"Are you sure? We can let you sleep and we can handle the search." Gon stated.
"No need, let me search with you two! We're all in this together." the stubborn pink haired insisted.
"Are you stupid?" Killua asked.
"Could you please stop asking if I'm stupid? Because I am not."
"If an Witch to appear right now and you're so drowsy, you wouldn't be able to fight properly which will hinder both me and Gon. I'm not saying that we should rest for your sake, you're not the only one whose tired. We're also tired."
After the albino boy's statement, Alyssa clammed up and was able to comprehend with him which made her embarrassed for being selfish.
"Yes, I understand...I'm sorry for being selfish." she said.
"As long as you get it. Plus, you want to get tall, right? How will you get taller if you don't sleep early?" Killua smirked.
"Are you perhaps teasing me?" It was now Alyssa turn to ask him.
He raised up his arms and slung it around his head while whistling. "Maybe~?"
"How unpleasant." she said.
The three of them walked to the nearest window which was the coolest and breeziest spot. Sitting down and leaning their backs against the wall, they covered themselves with the blanket that Gon discovered.
"Hey Gon, stop hogging all the blanket to yourself!" Killua snarled.
"It's cold in my place!" Gon argued as he pulled on the blanket.
"You two, please stop pulling on the blanket. It may get ripped." Alyssa sighed as she sat on the space between the two boys who were fighting for the blanket.
"I will, once Killua stop pulling." Gon stated as he was tugging on the white blanket.
"I also will, once Gon stop pulling." Killua stated as well while tugging on the white blanket.
The two boys started playing the game of tug of war using the white sheet which was covering them from the coldness that crept their skins.
"Then why won't you two move closer to me so we can fit?" Alyssa suggested.
"Great idea!" Gon cheered as he scooted closer to her.
"I-I don't mind sleeping c-close to you." Killua blushed as he scooted closer to her.
Now they finally got in the blanket as their shoulders were bumping against each other while being covered by a blanket during the cold nights.
"I like bundling in a blanket during cold nights with a friend, it's so pleasing." Gon brought up the subject.
"I-It's kind of cramp and cold here, but I'm not saying that I don't like it." Killua stated.
"I guess it's fine, you guys are warm after all." Alyssa chuckled.
Few moments of silence bestowed them as they began shifting in their comfort zone within the blanket.
A sigh escaped her throat as she cuddled in the blanket. "Somehow, I'm feeling homesick..."
"I understand you. When I set sails on my own to participate in the Hunter Exam, I felt so homesick, and wanted to go home." Gon sighed as he was reminiscing.
"But they say that, your life starts outside your comfort zone." he added.
"For my case, I'm actually glad that I runaway from our house. If I didn't, I'm probably stuck there and killing people." Killua nonchalantly said.
"Killing people?!" Alyssa gasped.
"Killua is an professional assassin." Gon says as if it was the most obvious thing to say in the world.
A sweat trickled down her forehead as she was caught surprised. He kills people...?
His mesmeriszng blue eyes glanced at her shocked expression painted all over her face, he sighed and looked away, slightly feeling hurt.
"You don't have to look so surprised. It's our family trait, being an assassin." He huffed, not so pleased that she had an frightening expression.
"I see...I didn't know," she says as she adverted eye contact with him.
"Don't worry Alyssa, he wouldn't kill us. He already quit, right?" Gon turned to Killua who nodded.
"Yeah, I quit. However, the blood of assassin is still running through my veins. Either way, I wouldn't hurt you guys as long as your my friends."
"I know that your not going to hurt us. I was just surprised, that's all." she says sheepishly.
"Surprised, eh? Aren't you just afraid of me...just like everyone is?"
Killua muttered under his breathe as he looked away while scowling.
"Huh? I didn't heard that...can you please repeat it again." Alyssa says.
"Never mind." Killua huffed.
"I actually missed Mito-san already." Gon blurted, changing the subject.
"Who is Mito-san?" the pink haired asked him.
"She is the one who took care of me, even though she's my aunt, she is still like my mother!" the boy with green clothes stated happily.
"Oh, really? Mito-san sounds like a great person."
"Yeah, she is." Gon smiled.
"I guess in my family, the only one who I'm actually close with is Alluka." Killua suddenly says, joining the conversation.
"Alluka? Who is that?" she asked.
"My little sister," he replied.
"How about you Alyssa? Who is the person that your most attached with in your family?!" Gon asked.
The little girl was startled as she didn't knew how to answer his question while the two of them were staring at her with curiosity.
"I don't have...someone like that, I'm sorry." she muttered as she looked down.
"Why not?" the spiky haired boy asked curiously.
Alyssa began to tremble as her eyes began to water, then Killua hushed Gon as he seemed to noticed this.
"H-Hey, that's enough questions, Gon." the white haired boy says.
"Alyssa isn't comfortable with this kind of stuff, so don't ask anymore."
She looked up to the both of them and shook her head. "It's alright...I don't really mind telling you two."
The two kept silenced and listened to her as she was in the state of dilemma once again.
"I'm one of the children of the Zaban Orphanage, it was a warm place. Lots of kids who were abandoned by their parents, gathered there in that one place." she stated.
"Alyssa is an orphan?" Gon asked as she nodded.
"Everyone there treated me kindly which I was truly thankful. Until one day, a woman came with her boyfriend in the orphanage...the couple chose me and I was taken away." she continued.
"What happened next?" Gon asked.
"They...abused me." she whimpered.
The two boys clammed up their mouths as they didn't knew what to say next to that kind of statement.
"Then a guy in cloak came in our house and took me away from the grief and sadness...His name was Ging-san." she told them.
"My father took you away?!" Gon blurted, surprised.
"My father? That means..."
"Yeah, Ging is Gon's father who is an professional hunter." Killua butted in their conversation.
"WHAAAT?!" she yelled.
"Isn't my father amazing?!" Gon grinned.
"Yes, I agree." Alyssa agreed.
"Say Alyssa...I've been thinking about something lately, mind if I ask an question?" Gon asked.
She nodded in reply as he cleared his throat.
"What's your last name?"
Last name is like a family name, right? she thought.
Alyssa smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, but I don't have a last name..."
...I don't have a family.
