The next day, Gon finally woke up. The operation was a success. However, there was something odd about him, and they can't figure it out.

"Here, have some apples, Gon." Alyssa said after peeling the skin of the fresh red apple and sliced them up.

However, the boy didn't replied and kept staring at the space. Thinking of some things.

"Gon? Are you okay?" she asked.

But he didn't replied. She was getting worried.

Meanwhile, Gon was angry. Really angry at himself for being weak. Having no power to protect his friends, he felt worthless.

The door of the room creaked open as she turned around to see Killua walking through the door.

"Killua." Alyssa said as Gon turned around and saw him.

"Hey." the silver head greeted her and walked towards them with a hand in his pocket, he turned to Gon.

"How're you feeling?" he asked him.

"I'm fine." Gon replied with a huff.

"Well, that's good." Killua said as he pulled the chair and sat beside Alyssa who was sitting near Gon's bed.

"Kurapika emailed me, I told him what happened to you and he said that he'll come here to fetch us later." Killua informed him.

"Alright." the boy said.

All of them shared the silence of the moment, somehow feeling rigid. Unable to take the uncomfortable silent. Alyssa spoke.

"Hey Gon, eat up those apples." she said, trying to break the ice.

"I don't want to eat." he said, rejecting the food.

"D-Do you want to eat something else? I'll buy it for you..." she asked.

"..." he didn't replied.

She clammed her mouth, not knowing what to say and do.

"Oh I know! Do you want some candies? Leorio-san gave me some earlier, shall we eat it—"

"I SAID I DON'T WANT TO EAT!"

Alyssa flinched, she begun to shake as her eyes begun to stung. She was surprised that Gon yelled at her when she was only worried about him.

"I'm sorry..." she apologized and sat down on her chair.

That's when Killua kicked the mattress and folded his arms, he gave Gon a look on his face.

Annoyed.

"I have enough of dealing with your moronic attitude, Gon. What's your deal? Alyssa is only being considerate of you. Stop acting like a idiot." he said.

"Shut up. Don't tell me what to do!" Gon snapped.

"You're the one who needs to shut up and listen to me." Killua yelled.

"Shut up. Shut up. Shut up!" Gon sprung out of his bed and grabbed Killua's collar, tackling him on the ground.

"S-Stop it, you two!" Alyssa said as she stood up from her chair.

"What the heck?! Get off me, damn it!" Killua grabbed his wrists, trying to let him go of his collar.

"You think you're stronger than me because you fought against Sloth! Fine then, I'll fight you and prove that I'm way more stronger." Gon said.

"What are you talking about? I'm not the one who fought against that Witch!"

"Alyssa isn't that strong!  You're the only one who can defeat that Witch!"

"Believe me or not, it's not me! God damn it. Alyssa is the one who defeated her!"

Gon let go of his collar and stood up, while Killua did as well. They were still glaring at each other, angrily.

"Stop this already...I don't want to see you two fighting each other!" Alyssa said as she could only look at them.

"Fight me, Killua." Gon said as Alyssa gasped.

The white haired boy smirked. "I was about to ask you that."

"Wait...you can't be serious. Killua, Gon is still healing his wounds. Please don't hurt him." Alyssa said.

"Stay out of this Alyssa. It isn't your problem." Killua said without sparing her a look.

"Let's go." Gon began to walk as Killua followed him, leaving the room.

Alyssa was surprised. "W-Wait a minute. Are you two serious?" she run after them.

Gon choose the rooftop as their battlefield, Alyssa stood up at the corner, watching them.

Then, he laughed, making Killua confused of his actions.

"What so funny?" the white haired boy asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm not laughing because I think this is funny. I'm laughing in how I can easily beat you." the black haired boy said.

His blue eyes twitched. "Oh? Aren't you confident. Don't think you can beat me that easily."

"Let's see about that." Gon said.

The two boys began to fight against themselves, at first, they were just sparring. But now they were using their Nen to harm each other.

"Rock...paper...Rock!"

"Lightning palm!"

Flame ablaze, lightning struck, fighting for dominance. They both fought each other. But isn't this bit too much to be called into a little sparring?

It's as if they are trying to kill each other.

"Why...?" Alyssa spoke as she could only watch them hurt each other.

"Why do people on the same side have to fight when a Witch isn't even here?!" she muttered.

Knees shaking as she was too flustered in what to do, she wanted to stop them, but doesn't know how.

I need to stop them...before something bad happens. she thought.

At the peak of their battle, Alyssa run towards them as both of them were surprised to see her running.

"Stop it, you two!" she yelled, running in between them.

Damn it. I can't stop. Killua thought as he couldn't stop his lightning attack.

Don't interfere. Gon thought as he also couldn't stop his attack.

Before their attacks could touch the girl, someone came in between them and grabbed their wrists, throwing them to the cement ground.

"You two are getting heated up. Why don't you cool down yourself for awhile?"

Alyssa halted in her tracks as she turned around, eyes widened, to see who is the person who arrived.

She was beautiful.

Blonde hair, shoulder length. Ashen eyes and wore a black suit with a tie, she seems to be a secret agent.

Alyssa walked towards her. "Um, Miss? Thank you very much for stopping Gon and Killua."

The woman turned around and met a pair of pink eyes gazing towards her.

"Miss, is there something wrong?" Alyssa said again.

The blonde felt her cheeks get warmer as she got embarrassed.

"Why are you calling me Miss? I'm not a woman."

Alyssa's eyes widened as she sweat dropped, feeling lost.

"Y-You're not? Then are you...a man?!" she gasped.

"Yes, I am. Why are you so surprised? Do I really look like a woman?" he asked.

Alyssa was surprised. Really surprised. This woman—no, man looked just like a woman! His appearance and voice gives out a girly-girl vibe that she didn't realized that he was a man!

"U-Um...who might you be?" she asked.

"I am Kurapika Kurta."

Kurapika Kurta? Why does it feel like I heard that name before? Alyssa thought.

She began thinking for awhile until she came to realize something.

He was the person who was going to give them a job request!
