"You're a terrible liar."

He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. Sneaking his tongue, he snatched the candy out as he took it away from me.

Then he leaned back as I was caught surprised by him. My tears ceased to fall as I could feel my cheeks get warmer.

What just happened?

"Gosh. It's Wasabi flavor! No wonder why you hate it—it's so spicy." he said as he began to chew the candy.

Did I just think what he just did?

I covered my mouth as I was really surprised. "D-D-D-Did you j-j-just k-k-kissed me?!"

"Do you count that as a kiss? I was just curious in what flavor you got that made you cry." he said, innocently.

Gon is an angel. So pure and innocent.

"But if you count it in, I don't mind that you are my first kiss." he added.

My first kiss was taken by an angel.

Alyssa was caught surprised, she couldn't stop thinking of that kiss with the airhead Gon.

"I-I'll get something to drink..." she said as she stood up and walked towards the door.

She stomped into something, looking down, she saw a yoyo on the ground. She bent down and grabbed it.

What's a yoyo doing here? she thought.

Then she noticed, beside the yoyo that was on the ground, were droplets of water.

"Tears...?" she muttered.

Alyssa shrugged the thought as she put the yoyo in her pocket and went to the cafeteria to buy some drinks for two.

She bought two canned juice, for the two of them. She began to walk back to the room where Gon was resting in.

Should I tell Gon about the job? she thought while walking.

Yeah. I think I should. He also has the right to know. she decided to tell Gon.

Entering the room once again, placing down the drinks on the table beside the bed. She sat down beside him.

"Alyssa...I'm sorry..." Gon said.

"Hm? About what?" Alyssa asked.

"For treating you harshly earlier. Maybe what Kurapika said is true, I was inferior to Killua."

She opened the canned of juice and sipped a little amount of drink, then turned to Gon.

"It's fine. And you know what? I don't really think that you're inferior to Killua...both of you are strong!" she said, encouraging him.

"You really know the words that I want to hear the most." he laughed.

"I do? I was just telling the truth." she laughed as well.

Then after the laughter ceased, Alyssa began to tell Gon about the conversation she had with Kurapika about the job request.

"So the book is at Killua's house?!" Gon was surprised.

"Yes. We are starting the job once you are out of the hospital." she answered.

"I see..." he sighed. "I still have to apologize to Killua...about earlier..."

"I think he'll forgive you." that's what she said.

Gon sighed once again. "I really do hope so."

Alyssa walked through the hallways, then she saw Killua, walking. A bright smiled appear on her face as she called out his name.

"Killua!"

However, the mentioned boy didn't turned around and continued to walk away.

Huh? Didn't he heard me? she thought.

"Oh, the yoyo..." she said as she grabbed the item from her pocket.

She recognized this and realized it belonged to Killua.

"I have to give this back..." she muttered.

Then Alyssa began to run and chase after Killua, deciding to give this back.

"Killua! Wait!"

She saw his back walking away, chasing for his retreating figure, she didn't knew that he felt angry in that moment.

"Hey! Wait for a mome—kyaaah!" Alyssa tripped on the rag and fell straight at the ground, face flat.

The boy stopped and turned around, he saw Alyssa tripped. He had his hands in his pocket, waiting for what she has to say.

She lift up her head and to see him finally stopping his tracks.

"Y-You finally stopped..." she sheepishly smiled.

Slowly, she stood up and began dusting off the dirt in her clothes.

"Here." she said, handing him the yoyo from her pocket. He seemed surprised that she had it with her, but he just snatched it from her hands.

"This is yours, right? I saw it laying on the floor earlier....." she trailed off when Killua started to walk away after putting the yoyo in his pockets.

Alyssa was surprised of the coldness that the boy showed him, she doesn't even know why he acted that way.

"Killua..."

Did I do something wrong?

The next day, Killua kept ignoring Alyssa, he kept treating her coldly which made the girl hurt. Each time she calls his name, he hurriedly walks away without sparring a glance.

Please stop ignoring me and tell me why are you like this... was what she want to say but doesn't have the courage to talk to him because he kept avoiding her all the time.

She was at the park near the hospital with Kurapika.

"Alyssa, Gon will be out of the hospital tomorrow, so you guys will do the job then. Understood?" Kurapika told the pink haired girl.

But the girl's mind was off to space, then the older male snapped the girl to her senses again.

"Are you listening?" he said.

"U-Um...I'm sorry. What were you saying?" she said, flustered.

"I said that Gon will be out of the hospital tomorrow and you guys will do the job then." he repeated.

"Y-Yes, I understand." she replied.

Kurapika eyed the girl, it was like she was feeling restless. Worried about something.

"What's wrong? You're not acting like yourself..." the blonde asked.

"It's nothing, Kurapika-san. I'm sorry if you thought that I'm not acting myself, but I'm fine." she said.

"Really?" he raised an eyebrow, couldn't buy her excuse.

"Did something happened between you and Killua?"

"...How did you know?"

Kurapika sighed. "Killua was acting odd, too. He was too quiet. I don't know what he's thinking."

Alyssa was sitting on the swing as she rock it, looking down at her feet, she decided to tell him what she was upset about.

"The truth is...Killua is avoiding me."

"Oh? Why do you think his avoiding you?" he asked her.

"I...also don't know." she answered.

"Maybe you did something that made him avoid you. People tend to avoid other people when they are hurt by them."

Hurt?

"But I didn't hurt Killua..."

Alyssa trailed off her sentence, she began to think if she did something to him or why he was avoiding her.

Yoyo.

Droplets of water.

Wasabi flavored candy.

Kiss.

Then realization hit her, she began to blush furiously upon realizing it.

Killua saw me and Gon kissed!

Alyssa stood up as Kurapika turned to her with a confused expression.

"Thank you for listening to my problems today, Kurapika-san. I finally understood why Killua is avoiding me." she told him.

"I'll be going now. Excuse me." she bowed down before dashing to ran out of the park, going after Killua.

Even if he did saw us...did he start ignoring me because of that?

"But why...?"
