Killua's POV.

The cold breeze hit my skin as my breath hitched while I hid myself deeper in the darkness as my eyes were glued on the guys who were laughing and drinking alcohol who didn't have a care for the world.

At last, I finally found them. I thought.

The bandits circled themselves around the camp fire as they were roasting meat and were bickering, carriages cannot pass through because of these guys that were blocking the way.

If I beat them up, we'll be able to move forward. I thought as I jumped off near them, they kept on laughing, not realizing that I was finally here.

"Hey." I said as some of them turned to me, most of their faces were red, must be because of drinking alcohol.

"I'll give you 10 seconds to get away from this place." I warned.

They all stared at me, dumbfounded.

"What if we didn't?" one of them asked me.

"You'll taste a piece of hell." I snickered as they all laughed.

But then I feigned ignorance as I began counting down.

"Ten..." still laughing.

"Nine..." some of them were still drinking beer.

"Eight..." they were bickering with each other.

"Seven..." talking about their jobs.

"Six..." talking about themselves.

"Five..." completely forgetting about me.

"Four..." I'll let them know what it is to ignore me.

"Three..." still not leaving, huh?

"Two..." I'm ignored.

"One..." they'll regret this.

I smirked. "Don't say I didn't warned you about anything."

They laughed. "What do you think a brat like you can do—?!"

In a speed of lightning, I used my Nen as electricity flowed through his muscles as he fell on the ground. I could hear some gasps and eyes darted on me, completely surprised.

"You brat! What did you do?!" another said as I smirked.

"Don't worry, I just electrocuted him. But I think he won't be able to be awake until 3 days." I answered.

Blue streaks of lightning ran through my body and my hair as they started brewing their weapons out, much more like it.

"What's this? Motivated to fight me?" I grinned.

"Move. I'll take him." a huge man holding an ax said.

He swung his ax towards me as I dodged it and electrified him as well, that was when their savagery attacks triggered to start, all forces against me.

"KILL THAT BRAT!!" one yelled as they started fighting me.

"A band of thieves versus a pro hunter like me, might be interesting."

Attack, dodge, and guard was everything I was doing. Adding electricity that danced through me made me much superior than the bandits.

Each enemy that I attack falls down straight on the ground, completely defeated. Some of them were unable to move as the most attack me, but moving really sluggish.

"That boy...he's no ordinary person."

"I can't beat a talented person..."

"He's insanely strong."

In the end, I was the last one standing. The bandits all fell knock out unconscious. After fighting with them, electricity stopped flowing through my body as everything was still.

"It doesn't matter how much numbers you are in a band if all the members are small fries..." I said.

To think that the old man is scared of these bandits...how stupid. I thought.

Then I sensed something from afar came near me as I barely dodged an crow who used its sharp claws and scratch me, blood escaped from the wound as the crow flew to its owner.

Where did that came from...? I thought, ignoring the blood flowing from the cut.

"Good evening, young boy." a voice said as I looked up and my eyes widened.

It was the old man who was sexual harassing Usami earlier, the one who came to the rabbit cafe earlier...

"You...!" I explained.

"You recognized me now, boy? Haha. But seriously, you're insanely strong. To be able to beat these bandits all alone...with that flashy attacks of yours." he said.

"Are you with them?" I asked as he cracked a laugh.

"Don't lump me with these fools. I am not a thief, I am a slave trader." he answered.

"Really..." I nonchalantly said, putting my hands in my pockets.

"Are you a professional hunter?" he asked as I nodded.

"You're a transmitter, right?" he asked again as I nodded yet again.

"But it is indeed strange...a deadly poison that can make a bull fall, it doesn't have an effect on you. Why is that?" he asked me.

"Poisons doesn't work on me..."

Lighting started flowing from me again as I made a head start and attacked him one shot, he fell on the ground, electrified.

"I-I see...poisons doesn't...w-work on you...right." then he was knock out.

"Alright. The path is cleared, time to go." I said as I started walking out.

Well, that was easy. I thought.

Normal POV.

Alyssa and Gon received their payment, along with Killua's. As expected, they got the highest payment than the other employees got, thanks to their hard work that bear its fruits marvelously.

"Yes! We're not broke anymore!" Gon cheered, holding the jennies in his hands.

Alyssa just walked along with him in silence, looking ahead on the road as he was busy cheering.

"Good thing Eren showed us that cafe, thanks to him, we got all these money! Right, Alyssa?" he asked.

The girl flinched. "Eh? Um...yeah."

"What's wrong, you okay?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry." she smiled, reassuring him.

Then they felt a sinister aura all of a sudden, they became alarm after sensing the Witch's miasma.

"This feeling..." Gon started.

"...It's a Witch!" Alyssa finished.

They both looked at each other and nodded as they followed where that track of evil scent was leading them.

They reached the old man's house, they blast open the doors and to see Emily who was suffering in pain. Hovering on the ground as she grieved in misery, black miasma leak out of her.

This is...! Alyssa's eyes widened as she was watching Emily suffering.

"Emily-san!" Gon yelled.

"Help...help my mom...!" a soft voice murmured as the two turned around and saw Eren who was trembling in fear while being embraced by his father.

"Mister! Eren-kun!" Alyssa yelled as she run towards them, crouching down, she see to them.

"What happened?" she asked them.

"M-Mom...started to act strange....she was yelling about Reborn and stuff! She was scary!" Eren cried.

"Reborn?" Alyssa said.

"Y-You brats are pro hunters, right? Do something! Save Emily!" the father begged her.

"Save...a woman who will become a Witch?" she murmured.

"It's impossible. She can't be saved."

"W-WORTHLESS PEOPLE...AREN'T WORTHY TO BE ALIVE! ROT TO DEAD!!!" Emily who was started going out of control yelled hysterically.

"I don't know what's going on, but I don't like it." Gon said as sparks twirl on his palms as he fist bumped.

"I gotta defeat her!" he yelled.

"N-No! Don't do it! GON!" Alyssa yelled, trying to stop him.

Gon ran up to the female and wanted to end this attack quickly with his special move, the infamous rock, paper, scissors attack.

"Jan...ken...PON!" he yelled loudly as he released a huge amount of Nen and strikes the woman.

"Y-YOU ARE SLOTH! UNWORTHY HUMAN...DIE!!" Emily cried as a huge attack flew, making the ground tremble.

"Her vengeance and hatred...it's too strong!" Alyssa said.

And the more she falls to the depths of witch's abyss. she thought.

"I'M NOT DONE YET!" Gon yelled as he simultaneously launch attacks against Emily who kept guarding against him with her Witch's powers.

"Alisa the Witch, curse the sloth that went against us, in the name of the Wicked Sorcerer, bestow a poison!"

Gon felt pain surge through his body as he clutched his chest that was exploding, poison flow through his veins as his skin was slowly being dyed violet as blood ooze out.

"GGGGGAAAAHHH!!!" he yelled in pain as he fell on the ground, grieving.

"Oh no, Gon...this can't be happening!" Alyssa hurriedly ran towards his side.

She raised his shoulder as she began shaking him who was still clutching his shirt, bearing the pain.

"Gon! Stay with me...please!" she cried as the poison began to spread throughout his body, the violet hue disrupted his cells.

"What should I do? The poison is spreading fast!" she panicked.

If only I have a healing ability to help him... she thought.

"I'm sorry, Gon! I'm so worthless! I can't do anything to help you!" tears started to stream down her cheeks.

"That's not true...a girl who has the same lineage as Alisa-sama isn't worthless! You're invincible!"

Alyssa turned to Emily who was a normal human a while ago but then became a Witch, her curse triggered from her vengeance and hatred.

"Undo the curse that you placed in Gon! He doesn't deserve this punishment!" Alyssa shrieked.

"Oh no, my dear proxy, he deserves it. Being defeated by me, he should blame himself for not training enough! HE WAS WEAK!"

"Gon isn't weak! He's strong, he could beat any enemy if he tries! Don't freely judge him in how you see him, you don't know a thing about him!" Alyssa yelled.

"Your so devoted to him...even though he's just a sloth."

"Gon isn't a sloth! Stop calling him that!"

"Then let me give you a chance for winning. I'll give you an hour to find me. If you manage to defeat me within the time limit, I'll undo the curse."

A ray of hope formed in her as her eyes gleamed. "Really? You'll undo the curse if I defeat you?!"

"Yeah. We witches never lie, we only deceive. But that's if you can defeat me."

"I'll do whatever it takes to defeat you and save Gon from the curse! No matter what!" her eyes were all heated up.

"As an upper hand, I'll let you fight along with that silver haired boy. He was kind of strong, wasn't he?"

"Killua?" she said.

"I hope you'll be able to win against me. But bare in mind that I am quite a strong opponent."

"I know..." Alyssa wiped her tears away, staring down at Gon who was still suffering.

"The death match starts now!!!"

Emily flew out of the house, leaving the rest inside. She went out to find a place to hide the rest of the hour.

"Sorry but could you please take care of Gon for me?" Alyssa said, asking the father and Eren.

"Leave Gon-nii to us, Alyssa-nee!" Eren said.

"Will you be alright, girly?" the old man asked her.

"Don't worry. It may not look like it but I am quite strong!" Alyssa smiled.

She stood up and was about to search for Emily when Gon grabbed her wrist, she turned around and saw him looking at her.

"Don't...go..." he whispered.

"I'll defeat her and undo the curse. I might take long but please wait for me, I won't let you die. Trust me." she assured him.

"T-That's not...what I meant...she's too strong...you...won't leave...unscathed." he coughed.

"Don't worry about me and please take a rest, you'll be all healed up in no time!" she smiled.

Alyssa stood up and went out of the house to find Killua who was on his way to met up with her.

For now...I need to team up with Killua. she thought while running.

No wait...I only have an hour, it wouldn't be good if I lose too much time. I gotta find Emily-san first and defeat her. she thought.

"That settles it! I'll find her first and defeat her, then Gon will be alright." Alyssa said as she followed the track left by the witch.
