Throughout the day, the workaholic trio were doing there best to serve the customers. Then Najenda gave them a break as they went to the staff room.

"I'm so tired..." Gon yawned after all the hard work he did, he laid his head on the table.

"I never thought that serving food will be this hard..." Killua whined as he sat next to Gon.

The sun already set that time but they still continued working to earn a huge amount of money, then someone entered the staff room, carrying a tray of food and drinks.

"Good work, you guys!" she yelled.

The boys turned around and saw Usami carrying a tray with a huge smile on her face, behind her was Alyssa who was carrying a tray as well.

"Alyssa, Usami-san, thanks!" Gon replied as the two walked up to them, placing the trays down.

"Eat up, you guys must've been really hungry, right?" she said.

"Is it alright?" Gon asked as Usami nodded in reply.

"Yeah! Go fill yourselves." she replied as she turned to Alyssa.

"Join them, Aly-chan!" she slapped her back as she walked up to them.

"B-But I want to help you, Usami-san." Alyssa stated.

"It's fine, it's fine. You've really helped us a lot today. You need to take a break." Usami patted her head.

"But what about you?" she asked.

"I'll be fine, if you really want to help me, go eat first and then help me out. Okay?" The older woman said.

"H-Hai!" Alyssa said as she sat next to Gon and Killua.

"Then I'll leave you guys here, okay? I gotta go and serve some of our customers. Later!" Usami yelled before closing the door.

"Usami-san sure is a hardworking person." Gon commented.

"She is par with Alyssa." Killua said.

"Oh no, Usami-san is far more hardworking than me." Alyssa said.

They started eating the food given to them while chatting along the way, meanwhile Killua was busy pondering some thoughts in his head silently.

"What's wrong, Killua? It's bad to make the food wait until its eaten." Alyssa said as she munch on the bread.

He didn't said anything, making the pink haired girl more worried.

"Killua...are you really okay? Does your stomach hurt?" she gently asked.

"Alyssa..." he spoke.

What?" she asked.

The silver haired boy turned to her with a serious face that made the pink haired girl flinched, slightly nervous.

"I can't help but feel that you're hiding something from me and Gon." Killua said as everything became silent.

"W-What...? No! I'm not hiding anything from you two." she protested.

Then her eyes widened as she come to realise something, "Did that clown guy said anything to you?!"

"So what if he did?" he said.

"Don't believe in him! He's lying!" she yelled, balling her hands to a fist.

"If he was really lying, tell me the truth then! Between you and Hisoka, I don't know whose saying the truth!" he yelled back.

"Eh? Hisoka was here?" Gon asked, butting between them.

"The truth...?" Alyssa said.

"Yeah, the truth! I need to know! How will I be able to trust you if you don't tell us something?!" Killua yelled.

Gon was completely ignored as the two began arguing in front of him.

Alyssa bit her lower lip, not knowing what to say next as she held her breath. She didn't how to answer Killua's question or rather than a demand. But that wasn't the case, it was she realised that he doesn't have any trust on her.

She chocked a half-hearted laugh inwardly, Why would Killua trust me in the first place? she though.

"If you aren't going to answer me, then be it! I'm out of here!" he growled while he grabbed the bunny headband that he was wearing as he slammed it on the table.

He began stomping towards the door as Gon stood up from his seat and yelled. "Where are you going?!"

THUD!

Killua exited the room without a word as Gon was ignored for the second time, he sighed after seeing his friend's stubbornness.

"You wouldn't even understand..." Alyssa muttered.

"Sorry about that, Alyssa. Killua is usually a short-fused kind of person. Don't mind him." Gon said.

Well, aren't you too? she thought.

"He has a sharp mouth that runs faster than his brain but despite that...he really cares about you, he sees you as an irreplaceable comrade and he was just shocked that you still couldn't trust him after all these time we've spent together. Even I was shocked, too." Gon explained to her.

"Gon..." was all her response.

"I won't force you to tell me anything unlike Killua, I'll wait until your ready to tell me what's bothering you." he calmly said, understanding her.

She felt her heart skip a beat, at last, someone respected her decision and didn't ask anything at all. She felt a wave of relief wash all over her.

"Thank you, Gon." Alyssa smiled.

"Don't sweat it. We're friends after all and that's what friends do! Helping out each other." Gon smiled back.

Maybe...I could tell him. she thought.

"Gon, I—"

"I gotta go and talk to Killua for a second, it'll be quick." he said, not realising that he cut her off.

"Oh, um...okay. Sure." she replied.

He smiled again as he ruffled her hair which made her blushed furiously.

"You should smile. When I see you smiling, all my worries are gone. I get worried when you're not smiling." he said as he looked in her eyes.

"So smile for me, okay?"

Killua walked out of the café as Gon ran and followed him, the night was still young, perfect for hunting.

"Where are you going, Killua?!" the spiky haired boy asked.

"I'm going to evacuate some bandits." the silver haired boy replied.

"Bandits...?" Gon asked.

"The reason why we can't proceed any further were because of those bandit's presence, isn't it? Once I put them to their places, we'll be able to have a clear path again." the other boy replied.

"You say that but you just wanted to beat someone up to release your steam." he sighed.

Killua didn't replied as his eyes were glued on the empty roads where people walk and talk along the way, the post lights shone as it gave light to the darkness of the city.

"Hey Gon, do you really think Alyssa is hiding something from us?" he asked.

"What good would it be if you keep pestering her? But to answer your question, yeah...I think she is hiding something." Gon answered.

Killua put both of his hands in his pockets while talking to Gon.

"Tell Alyssa that I'm sorry." he said.

"Tell that yourself!" the other boy chuckled.

With that, the white haired assassin faded as he started to run into the darkness of the cities to find the Bandit's lair.

"Please come again, Master." Alyssa said as she bowed down to their customer.

"Yeah~ Of course~! I had fun. See you later. Usami-chan, Alyssa-chan, I love you little bitches!" the drunkard man coed.

Little Bitches?! Usami thought as she balled her fist while Alyssa sweat dropped.

"Yes, but I think this would be the last time that we'll see each other. How unfortunate." Alyssa said as she immediately closed the doors.

THUD!

"Alyssa! You shouldn't be rude to our customers!" Usami said.

"But he was rude to you, Usami-san! He touched your b-boobs...and you're still fine with it?" Alyssa stuttered.

"Yeah. This is a job, after all." Usami dully replied.

"Allowing a stranger to touch yourself just to earn money...sorry to be blunt but you're actually shameless!"

SLAPPED!

Everyone turned around to see where the sound came from and saw Usami slapping Alyssa across the cheek.

"Shameless? Sorry if you think I am but I'm actually desperate for money. Free loaders children like you must be nice, YOU BRATS DON'T DO ANYTHING BUT BE A PAIN FOR YOUR PARENTS!!"

There, Usami finally snapped. Realising this, she was gasped and covered her mouth. Immediately regretting her actions.

"Your wrong, I'm not an free loader. Back in that house, I almost die from working myself out. And you said something much more wrong than the first..." Alyssa said as her eyes were on the floor.

She looked up and faced Usami with serious look on her face which made her flinch, but then had a surprisingly an sorrowful expression.

"I don't have any parents. I never needed a Mama and Papa, I could survive in my own."
