All of the students in class A were automatically assigned to the same rosters for each of the courses they are taking for the first semester at the university. These include English Language Arts, which is grammar and reading comprehension, Precalculus-Algebra, The required history class, biology and a EMT training class that all heroes are required to take. After the last class for the day, the students of Class 1-A finally get to go to Heroics 101. While there are no seating arrangements for the classes, the students just sit in the spots that they had started the day with in Professor Aizawa's class. While the majority of the class have been benders their whole lives, the novelty of being in a class with the avatar is still fresh in their minds. Izuku himself is more than happy to entertain his new friends by displaying some of his abilities to them with small little bending displays. Causing a few marbles to spin in his hands with airbending, pulling the water from his water bottle with waterbending, and making the tiles on the floor shift around with earth bending. As he goes to show off a bit of his firebending, creating a small dragon of fire to play with Dio, he feels a slight tremor in the ground.

"Hey, why'd you stop?" Mina asks, seeing the gold flame dragon dissipate into the air, Izuku didn't hear her question with his focus directed to the door to the classroom. Hers quickly follows as another slight tremor shakes the classroom.

"I am..." The voice of All Might echoes through the halls before the wall explodes as he erupts into the classroom in a shower of concrete dust and small pebbles. "Coming through the wall like a hero!!!" All Might declares as he leans into the classroom, his cape billowing behind him and the wide million dollar smile present on his face. After the dust settles and the shock of who their teacher is wears off they stare in awe at him for a moment before erupting into cheers and the destruction of government property and the arrival of All Might. "Now now settle down, I know it's quite the shock to have the number one hero as your heroics teacher, but we can't let that distract you all! We're going to cover everything about being a hero, from rescue missions, to combat. We will go through everything under the sun... and what is heroics class without your hero costumes!" He declares before tapping his phone causing the wall beside him to extend outwards revealing 20 briefcases for the students' hero costumes. "Go ahead and put these puppies on and get out to training site beta in half an hour. Don't be late!" With that statement, the students rush the stands holding their cases before rushing out of the room excited for what the day brings.

"They're definitely excited." Izuku says as he stands from his seat and makes his way over to his case, beside him Momo stretches before standing and walking over to her own. "What are you planning anyway?"

"You'll just have to wait and see young Midoriya. I'll meet you at the training field, oh and because you're my student I had them design your hero costume to represent that. Each avatar wears the colors of the nation's element that they're training in, so I designed you some martial artists robes that would work well with your earthbending and your other forms." All Might says as Izuku picks up his case, "Remember you're training with Rumi tomorrow morning before classes begin." With that Izuku exits the room and heads to the lockers.

Izuku walks into the locker room finding Katsuki already dressed in a very similar set of robes that he usually wears, however he's now sporting a bandana over his forehead. His midsection is protected by a dark maroon chest plate with gold accents along the edges and points of the chest piece. He has large vambraces over his forearms with serrated edges on the sides and what looks like a barrel on the front of the guards. The pants of the robes are baggy but have large pauldrons over the sides of the thighs as well as heavy boots that go up and over his shins. Across from him, Shouto is putting on a pair of boots as well, but his attire is a bit different. Instead of the firenation colors that the other firebenders in the class are sporting, his is all white, but with very similar armor and color accents to Katsuki. A notable difference is that he has what looks like empty sword handles on his sides as well as an older style firenation helmet with full faceplate.

"You two look badass." Izuku says as he enters the room, "All Might said he designed mine so I'm excited to see what it looks like with everything on." He says before pausing a moment to look around for Kaminari who's nowhere to be found. "Where's Denki?"

"Over here!' He says prompting the three firebenders to walk over to their blonde friend. "Check it out man, there's a peep hole leading into the girl's changing rooms!" He says as he gestures a thumb over to it. The lightning bender's hero attire reflects his affinity for lightning in all it's aspects. With a similar design to Katsuki's which includes the vambraces and thigh pauldrons, his chest piece and support gear are a bit different. On his shoulders sit two large lightning rods with insulators and bushings on the rings around them. His braces have insulators on them as well as a ball point at the end to help catch and redirect lightning. His mask is a simple set of yellow sunglasses meant to help protect his eyes from the extremely bright light of electricity.

"That is highly inappropriate Kaminari! And disrespectful to our female classmates!" Iida roars but Kaminari just lifts his hands up defensively.

"Relax stiffy, I'm not gonna peek through it. Besides, Sparky and Deku would both incinerate me." Kaminari says dismissively. "I might be a perv but I have standards."

"Yeah right." Izuku scoffs sarcastically before walking over to the side of the lockers and into a stall to get changed. "You guys go ahead and head to the training site, I'm gonna get changed." He says before closing the door.

All Might grins as he sees the class approach from the tunnel that leads into the fake city. Each of them dressed in either the attire of their home nation, or their hero costumes. One of note was Ochako, who rather than be dressed in traditional airbender nun attire is dressed in a skin tight black and pink hero suit that has a built in glider on her back as well as a staff for her to fight with. The number one hero goes through a headcount looking over the students before seeing that Izuku is running a bit late. Though, that isn't the case for very long as a shadow darkens him for a second as Izuku comes flying in on his glider staff.

Izuku's robes are in the style of a traditional martial artist. The top of his gi is short sleeved with a black undershirt and a shoulder cut top tied over it. Around his neck is a yellow scarf that flows behind him similar to All Might's bangs of hair that reach high above his head. His pants are baggy but he sports armored boots and arm braces that are wrapped with black fabric over his hands. Around his midsection is a tan belt wrapped several times around his waist. He closes his glider staff before unscrewing the middle section, separating it into two parts similar to kali sticks that he sheathes within the sash on his waist. With a slightly embarrassed smirk he apologizes for being late before walking over and standing beside his wife. Momo's own hero costume is a maroon red leotard with white and gold accents along it, a large utility belt on her waist and an empty katana handle attached to the side of her waist.

"Well, you all certainly look the part of heroes but now it's time to learn how to be one too." All Might begins before stepping to the side revealing a hologram droid and two boxes on a small table beside it. "Today we will be doing Combat Training!" All Might declares, causing the earthbenders and firebenders in the class to get excited over the prospect. "In today's exercise, a team of two heroes is going to take on a team of two villains in a search and recovery mission. The villain team will have a fake atomic bomb that has a timer of fifteen minutes. If the heroes cannot find and defeat the villains before the time ends then they fail, if they manage to capture the villains, capture the weapon or knock out the villain team the hero team wins. The villain team will have five minutes to hide the mock weapon in this building behind me, and the hero team has that same time to plan their attack." All Might explains as the hologram droid shows little animations of this exercise for the class. The Robot assigns the students in class 1-A to ten teams of two before displaying them.

"The first teams are..." All Might says as he sticks his hands into the two boxes. "Ouch!" He shouts as a mouse trap closes around his finger causing him to pull his hand from the box suddenly before shaking it off his hand. A few of the students laugh seeing this but All Might grumbles about Midnight's antics before he sticks his hands back into the boxes and pulls out two balls. "Team A vs Team D." Katsuki immediately turns and socks Kirishima in the face but he didn't expect Kirishima to do the same, with both men smashing their fists into each other's faces. "Not right this second, boys." All Might sighs as the two recover from the simultaneous punches they threw at each other.

"Savages." Momo sighs. "Ready for our first marital fight... Zuzu?" This question made his blood run cold, and despite them not knowing what Azula sounded like, Izuku could guess that in that moment she sounded exactly like the ancient princess.

"Team D you are the villain team, and you can head inside. I'll let you know when it begins." All Might says as the class aside from Izuku and Kirishima walk off to go watch in the observation room. "And Midoriya, you have to do this blindfolded." All Might says, causing Izuku to sigh audibly then tie the yellow scarf over his eyes.

"Got a plan for this Midoriya?" Kirishima asks as the two take a seat on the side of the road in order to begin planning their attack.

"You're an earthbender right?" Izuku asks, causing the red haired man to nod.

"Yeah, my folks come from Yu Dao, but I was born in the firenation." Kirishima answers quickly, connecting the dots on what Izuku is planning. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Yep." Izuku smirks, "When the timer rings, head over to the left side of the building, I'll go right and together we use earth bending to split the building open. We won't have the element of surprise for very long, but it might just be long enough to get the bomb. If not, prepare for a fight and try to catch Kacchan. I'll handle Momo."

"Definitely don't wanna get between you on that one." Kirishima says, "She's scary."

"Yeah, that's what I like about her." Izuku says with a smirk, and Kirishima notices that he has managed to look right at him through their entire conversation.

When the buzzer rings, the two earthbenders nod to each other before standing up and rushing over to their respective parts of the building. Izuku punches his hands into the concrete, feeling the vibrations through the building at the ground, trying to sense where Momo and Katsuki are within the building. Training seismic sense is extremely difficult, it's essentially building an entirely new sense and while touch and hearing assist in doing this it still doesn't take away from the difficulty of actually developing the sense especially when you're already used to seeing. While Izuku's is rather small in radius at the moment, he can sense that Katsuki and Momo are on the third floor in the building. "Ready?" Kirishima asks from across the wall, and Izuku calls back, answering him "Yeah, one, two, three!" He quickly counts before both earth benders stomp their feet as hard as they can into the sidewalk and pull. The building shakes slightly before a long fissure splits down the center of the building facing the sidewalk, as the two earth benders open a building as if it was a book.

Inside the training site, Katsuki and Momo had initially anticipated having to fight the two inside the building, having assumed that Izuku wouldn't be using an element that he's brand new to bending. However they grossly misjudged what he and Kirishima would do, as they feel a sudden tremor run through the building. "Uh-oh." Momo says as the building shakes once again before the wall across from them cracks and the light of day bleeds into the room. Across the floor just underneath the paper mache weapon they had to hide, the floor creates a long jagged crack as the entire building shakes. The tremors cause Katsuki to lose his balance and fall flat on his back, watching as Momo is pulled away on the other side and the crack underneath the fake bomb is growing larger and larger causing it to tilt. Thinking quickly, Momo creates a net gun then fires it over the weapon, reeling it in towards her to keep it from falling into the crack that's quickly separating the building. The two fake villains watch in awe as the building is pulled open like a large book revealing the street and the two earth benders beneath them.

They aren't given very much time to acclimate to the change in terrain, now having been separated from each other and having to face down two separate benders. They both know just how powerful Izuku is, but he's handicapped by the blindfold, however neither know how strong Kirishima is. All they know is that he mentioned he was a lava bender. Suddenly, Kirishima lunges out from the side of the building that he pulled from, jumping and slamming both forearms on the ground causing the entire thing to start to shake to further the distraction. To his side, Izuku kicks his foot up then slams it forwards and lifts his arms as if he's performing a clean and jerk. As he stands tall with his arms over his head, a series of stairs erupt from the asphalt and concrete leading up to the floor that Momo and Katsuki are standing on. Seeing that they're about to be charged by the avatar and the earth bender, Momo immediately jumps to her feet and creates a wall of blue fire in order to stop the two from advancing.

Kirishima raises the stair in front of him to block the advancing wall of flames and Izuku points both his hands forwards and splits the flame wall down the center. However the flames catch the blindfold around his face causing it to burn up allowing him to see once again. Realizing that she just lost her only advantage over Izuku, Momo quickly generates a bolt of lightning before firing it at the staircase where Izuku is standing. The avatar nimbly jumps over the bolt as it explodes before landing on the floor facing off with Momo and Katsuki. Kirishima doesn't let the blonde assist his teammate as he punches the wall he raised to block from the fire towards the combustion bender. Katsuki sees the incoming stone wall out of the corner of his eye before turning and blasting the wall with his combustion bending. Kirishima however is right behind it, landing a solid punch to Katsuki's stomach before kicking his knee upwards striking him in the chin with a raised tile from the floor.

"Damn, you're actually pretty good." Katsuki says as he rolls backwards, rubbing some blood from his nose and chin. "How about you try to dodge this." Katsuki says before extending two fingers on his right hand. Kirishima's eyes widen seeing Katsuki break out into a lightning generation kata before punching the floor and dropping through a hole he creates in order to evade the bolt. "You're smarter than you look, weird hair." Katsuki says before turning to fire the bolt of red lighting at Izuku. "But not smart enou-Ahhh!!!' He's cut off by the floor underneath him giving way, dropping him to the floor below. The distraction from creating the lightning causes it to misfire and explode launching the two from the second floor and to the street below them.

Trying to recover her advantage over Izuku, Momo dodges and weaves around bolts of fire before catching and redirecting one back towards her husband. Izuku catches it with a single hand with a confident smirk on his face but it fades when something rolls to his feet. Recognising what the small canister is instantly, Izuku instinctively kicks it away not realizing that he kicked it right back towards Momo. Though the canister doesn't explode, instead it starts to produce a thick white smoke. As it touches his eyes, they start to get irritated and water from the contact. "T-tear gas?! You're using tear gas?!" He asks in shock before swirling his hands around his body causing the air around him to begin to rotate creating a sphere around himself. From within the tear gas, Momo looks through the lenses of a gasmask she had created before beginning to create another item to use. From her forearms, several flash bangs roll down into the dome of air that Izuku is creating. Since Izuku is only using enough power to move the tear gas out of the way, the canisters roll right through the rotating column of air he's controlling. "Crap baskets." Izuku says seeing the canister roll to his feet and this time he doesn't have the time to kick it away. The flash bang goes off blinding him, causing him to clutch his eyes in pain, dropping the control over the tear gas he was trying to keep away from himself. Seeing this as her opportunity to get the drop on him Momo steps forwards and unlatches the chi point cuffs that both teams were given by All Might. As she takes a step forwards, Izuku feels the vibrations from her stepping towards him, seeing a mental image of the room grayed out in his mind. As she takes another step forwards, Izuku turns towards her then kicks his foot across the floor causing the floor beneath her to shift backwards opening a hole causing her to fall into it. Now without having to fight her, he approaches the bomb and grabs it, capturing the weapon.

"The Hero Team wins!!!" All Might declares through the intercom bringing the match to an end. Across from her on the second floor, Kirishima has Katsuki partially immured into the wall with cuffs of stone covering his forehead, arms, ankles and knees keeping him from moving. However, Kirishima himself is trapped in a ring of fire as tall as the ceiling.

Back in the observation room, All Might turns to the students and asks what they took from the exercise after watching the two teams fight. "So, having seen them in action, who can tell me who the MVP of this match was?"

"I believe it would be either of the Midoriyas." Iida says as he raises his hand, "While Midoriya Momo was fast enough to save the weapon from falling through the building, Midoriya Izuku had come up with the plan to drastically change the terrain of the battle and put it in his and Kirishima's favor. This change disoriented and separated the other team allowing them to fight one on one rather than use teamwork. Midoriya Momo even tried to rectify a mistake she made in accidentally removing Midoriya Izuku's handicap by creating tear gas and flash bangs but he relied on his senses and was able to counter her at the end of the match and capture the weapon." He explains causing All Might to give him a thumbs up.

"Very good, but I do believe that both Midoriya's could qualify as the MVP for this match." All Might declares, "However, does anyone have any critiques about what each team could have done better?"

"Neither team could completely remove the other's element from the match, however Team Yaomomo could have applied enough pressure to stop both Midoriya and Kirishima from utilizing their bending. Kirishima also could have easily defeated Bakugou early when their fight broke out, using the moment where he had stunned him with the floor tile to capture him. Midoriya could have also used his quirk." Shouto answers.

"Excellent, now before I'm going to select the next two teams I have to go repair the building." All Might says as he dismisses himself from the class for a moment in order to go fix what the benders have done.
