The Kerrigan family was a very well known wizard family in the Wizarding World. A family of Pure-Blood Wizard family, a wizard family that willingly associates with muggles and advocates for muggles or muggle-borns. One of the well respected and renowned Wizard families due to most of those in the Kerrigan family being legilimens or healers, using their gifts to help others where they can.

When Tertius Kerrigan married Maryse Mayfair, a pure blood witch from a very wealthy and influential wizard family, the Kerrigan's became even more infamous but their relationship and views on muggles and the muggle world was enough for them to be labeled as 'blood traitors' to most of the wizarding world.

Tertius and Maryse soon went on to have children of their own, seven children, six daughters and a son. The pair did not become parents until their late twenties due to jobs at the ministry, but once the triplets came, Maryse decided that her work could be done from home.

Millicent, Matilda and Minerva Kerrigan, the oldest of the Kerrigan children and first to attend Hogwarts and then promptly sorted into Gryffindor and Hufflepuff (which would be the first for the Kerrigan family). And the first time for the triplets to be separated but they manage.

The Kerrigan Triplets were the first triplets to grace the Kerrigan family after two hundred years. The Kerrigan Triplets is what they were called and known as and they hated it so much so, they were make their own mark in the Wizard world and be known as more than part of a set.

Although it hurt when Minerva was sorted into Hufflepuff while Matilda and Millicent were sorted into Gryffindor, the sisters saw it as a blessing than a curse. They could all thrive together but separate especially when they started to make friends of their own.

Millicent had become quite popular amongst the other Gryffindors, always helping where she could whether it was with homework or simply with trying to help others feel welcomed and loved. She earned the nickname "Gryffindor's House Mother" for how much she looked after the other Gryffindors and how much she helped the first years get acclimated to Hogwarts. She was the perfect example of what the model student should be at Hogwarts.

Matilda had become apart of the shenanigans that Fred and George Weasley would often cause. Mischief and mayhem aside, Matilda was still an exemplary student and she made it known. Known more for her temper, those that knew her, knew that she had a kind heart. Matilda decided to tutor other students from any house for a small fee of course. Matilda saw it as nothing in life is free and that includes time. She even made a name for herself as one of the chasers on the Quidditch team for Hogwarts.

Minerva had become known as the bug girl, the girl who excelled at herbology and preferred to spend her time with insects and studying them. The first Kerrigan to be sorted into Hufflepuff. Despite being separated from her sisters, she found herself thriving on her own. She was becoming a butterfly that was trying to spread her wings.

For three years, the Kerrigan sisters had made their own mark at Hogwarts but when their younger sister, Cordelia was able to attend. Having to make her own mark at Hogwarts, hoping to not be called, the littlest Kerrigan.

The story of the Kerrigan sisters has just begun and will continue in the coming chapters. Their lives and fates forever intertwined with the infamous Harry as they all navigate through life together.

Note:
This story will mainly focus of Mattie Kerrigan as well as the rest of the Kerrigan family. I'm a fan of Harry Potter and I have had this story in my drafts for a long time and after watching the Philosophers Stone with my sister, it sparked my interest in this story. I got this idea after watching a bit of the movie This would be the first time writing for this fandom as well and I plan to write more stories that are connected to one another just like the movies are.

This will be a friends to lovers story between Matilda and Fred. I absolutely love Fred Weasley and hated how everything was cut short for him.
