Another week has passed and the two mated immortals have finally found an available time to get Jeno tested and confirm anything.

The hybrid had been acting the same since they assumed he was pregnant, only difference is, the thought was lingering on their minds.

Jaemin glances at Jeno who was on the passengers seat looking outside the window while fiddling with his fingers and his ears were twitching with his tail on his lap.

The alpha focuses on the road and reaches his hand towards his mate's own, grabbing the smaller hand when he felt it and gave a light squeeze.

"I know you're nervous," Jaemin mumbled eyes on the road and felt Jeno squeezing his hand back.

"Just– a lot is on my mind right now," the hybrid said and shuts his eyes for a moment when he felt a slight pain in his stomach.

The alpha pursed his lips, "you don't need to be nervous, darling, you know I'm right here for you right?" He said as he took a turn.

Jeno nodded silently, "what if we're assuming too much? Or what if something goes wrong? Will you leave me? Please don't!" He rambled with plead.

Jaemin parks the car in an open parking space before he turns off the engine, he turns to look at his mate and leans in kissing the blond's forehead.

"Baby, didn't I tell you I would never leave you? Calm down, love. Let's get inside and get you tested, whatever it is, I'm here," Jaemin comforts the younger who takes a breather and nodded.

The two got out of the vehicle and Jaemin locks the doors before taking Jeno's hand in his while they walk inside the white building.

The receptionist helps them with an appointment as a nurse leads them to one of the rooms with a kind aura.

Jeno felt really sick to his stomach even more now, the building was full of various types of scents and he felt terrified at the amount of alphas that were somewhere around the hospital.

As if Jaemin could read his mind, maybe he can but whatever, he moves his hand that was gripping Jeno's own and wraps his arm around the hybrid's waist.

He lets out his pheromones while pecking the boy beside him on the temple, "I'm here," he whispered as Jeno hummed leaning closer to his side.

They arrived in an empty room as the nurse smiles at them, "Doctor Seo will be here in a moment, he's just getting his things," she informed.

Jaemin nodded and helps Jeno sit on the examination table thing, (A/N: whatever the hell that's called because thy author is dumb as fuck) and smiled back at the nurse.

"We'll be waiting patiently," he said as the nurse bowed politely before taking her leave to another duty call.

The two were silent, Jeno was gripping onto Jaemin's shirt that was now getting wrinkled by his small fists while the alpha was scratching his ears.

The door opened ajar making the hybrid flinch and his tail curling up around his torso, "hey hey hey~ the name's doctor Seo but call me Johnny," a man said with a wink.

From the new additional scent in the room, Jeno immediately guesses the doctor is an alpha. He unconsciously scoots closer towards Jaemin who smiled politely.

"Good afternoon Doctor, Johnny I supposed," he chuckled as he man snorts. "Thank you for taking your time today and we hope you can help us with some answers," he adds.

Johnny grins and cracks his knuckles while getting his stuff ready, "happy to help boys," he said and raised a brow at the hybrid who was hiding behind Jaemin's shoulder.

"Ah, sorry, am I causing something? If I am, I'm deeply sorry about that. Tell me though, I will be your doctor for now on anyways," he shrugged.

Jaemin laughed and turns his head to peck Jeno's head, "he's just shy and gets jumpy around others, it's okay." He said as Jeno nodded behind him.

Johnny cooed and nodded understandingly, "well first and foremost, obviously I need you to tell me what have you been feeling for the past few weeks."

Jeno whispered in to Jaemin's ear, still shy and scared as his tail was wrapped around Jaemin's bicep. "Tell him I feel sick, and what has been happening like you said that did."

The alpha chuckled finding his mate's actions adorable, he nodded and looks at the doctor who was waiting for their response.

"Well, he's been having morning sickness, he throws up almost all the time, he said his stomach hurts, his appetite and moods have changed, and also his scent has gotten stronger," Jaemin recites.

Johnny hummed taking notes as he grabs something from his cabinet, he walks towards Jeno and held out a pregnancy test with a nod.

"I can see that, especially his scent," he said making Jeno blush in embarrassment. "I suggest you to take this test darling, just to make sure," he added.

Jaemin growled a bit at the petname as Johnny chuckled and raised his hand showing off the shiny jewelry on his ring finger, "I'm married," he informed.

The alpha just huffed as Jeno took the test and hops down the table, he pecks his mate's cheek and nods. "I'll be back," he said before walking into the bathroom.

Few minutes have passed and Jeno comes back with the test in hand, his face was nervous and also excited at the same time.

"I haven't checked it yet, please do it for me," he shyly admits handing the small stick out towards the doctor who nodded.

Jeno fiddled with his fingers as Jaemin wraps his arm around the blond's shoulder, they watched the doctor take some notes on the paper after he looks at the test.

Johnny looks up at them with a grin, "congratulations dudes, cat boy is pregnant," he said waving the stick in his hand with little sound effects and some weird hand motions as if they're sparkles.

Jeno widened his eyes as Johnny snickered thinking his face was priceless. Jaemin looks at the stick and bit his lip, "for real?" His excitement visible in his tone.

Johnny nodded, "yep, you two are going to be parents!" He said with more hand motions.

He hands out the pregnancy test with the blank space showing off two lines as a sign that it was positive and not to mention Jeno's urine on the tip of it.

Jaemin takes it and watches the lines in amazement, he turns to Jeno who looked so emotional yet was smiling so widely before engulfing the blond in his arms.

He picks the hybrid up and spins them around while Jeno clung onto him as he squealed and laughed when the alpha puts him back down to cover his face with kisses.

"I love you," Jaemin said over and over again in each smooch as Jeno was so red and shy replying the words back.

Johnny clapped and gave them some advices before they can leave, "I suggest you, Jeno, to eat more healthy foods especially with those consists of vitamins and also not stress yourself out so the baby will be healthy as well."

He then turns to Jaemin, "I also suggest you to take care of your mate, pregnant hybrids can be more to deal with than werewolves. They have more needs and it will slightly be more painful, but we'll talk about that one later."

The two nodded as Johnny held out his hand to shake theirs as a farewell, "well have a good day both of you, come back every week to check up on the baby or babies. Congratulations again," he said.

Jaemin grins as Jeno nodded with a smile and bowed at the doctor. "Thank you!" The two said in sync waving at Johnny before they head out.
