'What do they mean about killing everyone, but Yuu and I?'

I thought as I backed away from Mika, feeling kind of scared right now. 'I have to go back to my friends...
however, I can't move.' suddenly I sensed a familiar vampire aura.

"I heard you called for me, Seventh Progenitor..."

"Oh, Crowley-kun? I've been waiting for you all this time!"

My eyes landed on the familiar vampire we've encountered the other day, I was really feeling scared to the fact I couldn't move in my spot.

"Let's make them our livestock, take the Vampire Extermination Unit alive, Operation Livestock." i heard the silver head vampire said as the red head vampire nodded.

Then the red head vampire who was called Crowley, turned his direction and saw me, making me flinched.

"Oh? Why is that human girl hugging Mika-kun~?" he purred as he was about to reach for me...not until...

A slash of the wind cut of his hand as I felt myself being lifted by someone, but...this person was familiar.

"You idiot! Don't be an airhead during a war, you're getting yourself killed!" i looked up to saw fierce red hair and a pair of golden eyes.

"Akaru-kun?" i gasped as we reached Yuu and the others, he lets me down as he looked at me angrily.

I felt myself crying, he was right, if I space out in the battlefield, I'll surely be killed with no warning.

"Are you okay?" he asked me as I just nodded, sighing in relief that he won't be yelling at me again.

"Everyone! Prepare to retreat!"

I turned around to see Guren-san announced loudly while gripping his trouser tightly as he coughed.

"W-Wait a minute! Our family's over there! So...so we can't retreat!" i heard Yuu yelled as i nodded in agreement.

"Then you want everyone here to be killed by the vampires?" Guren-san shot back as I turned to Mika who was looking at us, human beings.

"Yuu-san, for now we should retreat... we'll get killed if we don't."

"Yeah, Shinoa's right, let's go!"

Our friends tried to convince Yuu, afterwards we started to run while listening to Guren-san's orders.

'We have to save...Mika!' with that thought in mind, I was about to go back to him when I felt someone grabbed my hand as he pulled me.

"If you have time to turn around, use your legs to run, idiot!" Akaru-kun yelled as he pulled my wrist.

"B-But...me and Yuu's family is there, with the vampires!"

"If you go back there, you'll get killed in any moment!"

Suddenly the silver haired vampire who killed our family appeared in front of us as Yuu fought him reckless, swinging his blade in different directions.

"Yuu!" i broke free from Akaru-kun's grip as I ran up to him.

'I need to help Yuu!'

The silver haired vampire jabbed Guren-san to the wall as he spit blood, I heard Yuu yelled his name as the vampire dodged his blade.

"Don't hurt Yuu!" i yelled as i charged up to the vampire with my hand, as expected, he dodged my attack.

I was about to thrust my hand to his abdomen when he grabbed my neck and strangled me in his grip.

"Oh my, what do we have here~?"

I yelled in pain as he gripped my neck tighter while my hands are clutching both of his wrists.

"L-Let me...go...!" i whimpered as i tried to get away from his grip, he was too strong for me to handle.

"No way~! Firstly, let me have a taste of your blood—"

His arm was slashed by someone as his arm came flying to the sky, i fell on the ground while coughing.

"Shiro!" Yuu yelled as he squatted down to my level and gazed at me worriedly. "you okay?" he added as I flashed him a small smile.

"Don't be so upset, I'm just kidding." Ferid said as he grabbed his torn off arm and placed it back to normal.

Then Mika turned to both of us, who were sitting on the ground, he walked up to us while putting down his blade.

"Yuu-chan, Shiro-chan, leave behind everything and escape with me." he said as I looked at him, puzzled.

"What do you mean by escape? Anyways, why are you with that vampire?!" Yuu yelled at him.

"Yeah, he's right...answer us!" i said, demanding for answers.

"Just come with me!" Mika shrugged both of us off as he lifted both me and Yuu like a sack over his shoulder and started to flew away.

We flew in the air as he carried the both of us easily, "Mika, explain to us what is going on?!" i asked as he continued to run.

"You two shouldn't be there, it's dangerous because the humans are using both of you—" he was cut off as Yuu yelled. "shut up and stop!"

Yuu got free from Mika's grip as he hurriedly grabbed me and lifted me up, afterwards he landed on the roof, same goes with Mika.

He lifts me down as he grabbed his sword from his scathe and faced Mika.

"Humans will use us? What do you mean by that? Aren't you...human anymore?" he asked as Mika just kept quote and lowered his head down.

"Then, you're really a...vampire?" i said as my lips were agape, Mika adverted his gaze from us.

"I-Is it my fault? Because I ran away with Shiro and leave you behind?"

"You're wrong! None of you two did anything wrong..."

"B-But...in order to save her..."

"Let's just go, it's not safe here...
please, Yuu-chan, Shiro-chan."

Mika held out both of his hands to us as we backed away from him, 'even if the three of us ran away...where would we go? Vampire city?' i thought.

"We can't, Mika...our friends are in danger right now—"

"They're not your friends, Shiro-chan, don't let them deceive you!"

We heard someone yelled as me and Yuu turned around to see our friends being bitten by the vampires.

Shinoa-chan, Mitsuba-chan, Kimizuki-kun, Yoichi-kun were bitten by vampires against their will.

"Let go! I need to save them!"

I stood there in shock as Mika was holding Yuu off, my feet was wobbly, my energy is being sapped away from me...I couldn't protect my new team.

Then I saw a guy who was bitten by a vampire, my eyes widened as i recognised his red hair and gold eyes.

"Akaru-kun!" i yelled as i felt Mika pulling my arm while my eyes were still on him. "stop looking and let's escape, Shiro-chan!"

Then, he turned to me, his face was filled with pain and agony as he was being bitten. "Run away...Shiro!"

Tears escaped my eyes, then I heard Yuu yelled as me and Mika turned to him, surprised. 'I have a bad feeling about this...' i thought.

He looked at us, what surprised me is that his left eye turned red, blood dripped from that eye.

'No way...Yuu's being experimented by the humans?' i thought, surprised in what I'm about to see.

Then black linings came out of his back as he began to yell in hellish pain his undergoing, "Yuu-chan...?"

He turned to Mika who was in the state of shock, then he raised his blade as an immense shockwave attacked him, making him fly in the air. That attack made the ground crumbled, sending some stuff flying as well.

I fell on my knees as i felt myself weakening by his sudden change of appearance, i was really scared.

He walked up to me as i could only look at stare at his eyes, so this is his awakening, it's really scary.

"Yuu...?" i whimpered as tears formed in the corner of my eyes, suddenly he leaned down and started sniffing me, i was too scared to say anything.

Afterwards, he straightened up and suddenly left me by my own.

"What...just happened?"
