Four years has passed since we were taken in custody at the vampire's reign, the past years were harsh, we offer our blood to the vampires just so we can survive in this harsh environment. Sometimes I'm getting anaemic of too much blood lost.

"What's your name?" a vampire asked me as he was holding a tablet, I clenched my fist as I could feel shiver surge throughout my body.

"Hyakuya Shiro," a kid near my age examined me as the vampire nodded, as he gave me the permission to leave.

"Shiro-chan, over here!" i turned around to see Mika waving his hands at me, I ran towards him and Yuu who was standing beside him.

We started to walk through the huge place that seems to be like a castle, then we offered our blood as we were given a bag of drink, we exited the place.

My knees fell on the pavements as the two turned to me and went to my aid, oh no...not this again.

"Hey, you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm just getting anaemic."

The two of them helped me up as they supported my arms, then we started to walk again as I felt my body became cold yet again.

We stopped and take a seat on the staircase as we started to drink the medicine that the vampires gave us, well...except for Yuu who spurted the liquid contains.

"You're not drinking it again? You'll get sick Yuu-chan."

"Mika is right, you have to drink it."

Yuu sat beside me as I was sitting at the middle of the two of them, slowly, I was able to get my warmth in my body again thanks to the medicine.

"I can't drink this disgusting crap!"

"That's because you're a gourmet,"

"You stop doing what they say, too."

"I don't think it's that bad." Mika started as he stood up while me and Yuu looked at him.

"Why is that? It's scary here,"

"But at least we won't be killed here, and more importantly, we can live with our family...isn't that enough?"

He has a point, but...I don't want to be here, it's scary and you might die because of blood lost.

"I'm not their livestock,"

"Quit keeping stubborn, if you keep doing that...you'll surely die here." Mika said as Yuu threw his bag of medicine at him while he dodged it, the bag fell on the pavements.

There were two vampires walking as they stepped on the hands of the kids who were drawing on the pavements, I couldn't do anything...fear gets the best of my own body.

"Yuu-chan, don't!" i snapped back to reality as I saw Yuu walking up to the vampires, he tackled them and saying that they should apologise

"W-Were's sorry, please put him down! He isn't harmless or anything!"

"He's really stupid and his head's not right...so please forgive him!"

"Stop it, Shiro! Mika! I'm gonna—"

The vampire walked to the edge of the bridge while he was gripping on Yuu's shirt, me and Mika hurriedly walked up to him, begging him to stop.

"Hello," we turned around to see another vampire walking downstairs, the vampire who was holding Yuu tossed him on the ground.

"Are you okay, Yuu?" I asked as I hurriedly ran to his aid, he just nodded, telling me not to worry.

"Is he a noble?"

"From the looks of it, yes."

"Ferid-sama!" we turned to the owner of the voice and saw Mika walking up to the scary vampire.

They exchanged greetings, how come Mika knows a vampire? Plus, his even a noble, this Ferid guy has long silver hair that reached his hips and tied up with a ribbon, while he possesses darker shade of colour red.

"Anyways, will you be coming to my mansion again tonight?"

"Yes, please."

"Good boy, since you gave delicious blood, you're very much welcomed."

He turned to look at me and Yuu with a smile on his face, I could see that he has a pair of sharp fangs.

"Will that boy and girl be joining us today, too?" he asked, Mika hurriedly hugged me and Yuu.

"These two are really shy, so maybe next time they might."

"Oh? That's too bad..."

Mika dragged me and Yuu out of this place as we reached the tunnel, he dropped both of ours hands as we walked on our own.

"T-That was scary...that vampire is really scary!" I said as I was really intimated by the presence of him.

"Why did you apologise? I was going to kick his butt." Yuu asked as I was ignored by my friends.

"You know, there's no way a human can be stronger than a vampire."

"Those vampires are really strong, we're not a match to their strengths."

"You don't know that until you try!" Yuu said as we turned to him, then sighed at how reckless his plans is.

"You shouldn't push yourself too hard, that was really a close call earlier."

He didn't listen to what I've said, he turned to me, then to Mika with his usual attitude.

"How come you and that noble know each other?"

"Yeah, isn't he scares you?"

"Not really, if I offer my blood to Ferid-sama, he gives me everything, to survive in this place, you have to use your head and be smart."

"Don't push yourself too hard, Mika. It's really dangerous."

"Thanks for worrying Shiro-chan, but I'll be fine...is there anything you want?"

"I don't want anything, just don't push yourself too hard."

"Your so kind...thank you," he patted my head as he smiled, then we turned to Yuu who smacked his head.

"Yuu-chan, don't you also have something you—"

"I don't want anything!"

We stared at Yuu's back walking away from us until he was completely out of sight, I turned to Mika with a worried look.

"Don't push yourself too hard, okay?"

"Yeah, I know."

Me and Akane were preparing curry as I was slicing the carrots while she was peeling off the potatoes. We heard the door open and the children's laughter.

"Seems like he's home, Shiro-chan."

"Yeah, let's hurry up so we can eat curry with our family!"

She nodded as we continued preparing the dish, cooking was really fun, especially when you're making it for your loved ones.

"How on earth..." I turned to see Yuu who was really surprised.

"Surprised? Mika brought the ingredients to me just now. It's my first time cooking a feast like this, so me and Shiro-chan are excited."

"We have thank Mika later!"

"Yeah!"

We started to eat curry together on the table, the children were so pleased and really happy, I'm so glad. I turned to the person sitting beside me to see Yuu just staring on his food.

"What's wrong, Yuu? You have to eat before it gets cold."

"Oh, yeah..."

I stared at him worriedly, something was bugging him for sure, and I bet it's about Mika....speaking of Mika, where is he right now?

"Today is like my birthday!"

"It's my birthday, too."

"No fair, it's mine, too!"

"Mine, too!"

Then me and Akane met each other's gaze as we smiled and nodded, understating each other.

"Then today, I declare that this day is everybody's birthday!" I beamed while raising my arms in the air.

The children cheered happily as they agreed, I turned to Yuu to see him smiling at me as I smiled back.

"We need to say thanks to Mika!"

"Yes we will!"

"Where did Mika-nii go?"

"Why isn't he here?"

"Yuu-niichan, Shiro-neechan, where's Mika-nii?"

We turned to each other and then back to the kids, there was a long pause before we even talking.

"Well...Mika is..."

"Mika has some errands he has to do, so that's why he isn't here with us, but don't worry! He'll come back later!"

Was what I could say, there's is no way I could tell them that Mika is letting the vampire's drink his blood.

I opened my eyes to see the light from downstairs was open, I climbed down and saw Yuu and Mika eating.

"Oh, you're back Mika...where have you been? I was worried." i said, they just stared at me in silence as I was confused, then they turned to each other and smiled.

"Let's go!"

"Yeah, Shiro-chan, hurry up and wake everyone up!"

"H-Huh? What's going on?"

"We're going to say our farewells in this place!"

We began to walk as one big family while the kids were asking Mika where are we going until Yuu said that were going back to our world.

"What? Seriously? Wow, that—" Mika put his on my mouth and hissed me not to talk as I nodded.

We hid in a small, cramp cage for awhile and waited for the vampires to live. Afterwards we continued traveling this unknown places.

"Once we get through here, we're out of this place!" Mika said while checking the map.

"Good, we're almost there."

"We need to quiet down for a bit, alright? We wouldn't want any vampires to spot us."

They nodded as we started walking on the pretty, glass tiles, then we heard a laugh as our eyes widened.

"I've been waiting, my poor little lambs." the Ferid guy said as he looked at us while we were in distress.

"Yes, the face that humans make when their hopes are suddenly taken away, this is why I can't stop playing this game."

"Game...?"

Wind passed through us as we turned to see him digging his teeth on the nape of the skin of the kid, we gasped as he was sucking her blood.

"Aw, she died already."

"DAMN IT!" Yuu blasted the gun towards Ferid as he dodged it.

"Hey, isn't that my gun? Not only did you steal the map, but you stile the gun too? You guys are good."

He began walking towards us while smirking as he folded his arms to his chest.

"I'll give you another hope since you still have the will to fight. That map is actually a real one, if you run ahead, you'll reach the outside world..."

"Run! Now!"

The children started to run in fear as the vampire started slaughtering each one of them single handedly...what a frightening skills.

The ones who were on their legs are me, Yuu, and Mika. Everything was too scary and unreal that my nerves aren't working with me.

"Don't forget, Yuu-chan, Shiro-chan, we're family." Mika snatched the gun from Yuu's hands as he ran up to the vampires fearlessly.

As expected, he was stabbed by the vampire, I was too shocked to cry or scream, I was also having a hard time to breathe.

The gun fell on the floor as Yuu grabbed the gun and attacked the vampire and shoot him on the head, he fell on the floor as we walked up to Mika who was bleeding.

"Hey Mika!"

"Don't die...please, Mika!"

Tears flow out of my eyes as I stare at Mika who was bleeding so hard, he was crying.

"Go, Yuu-chan...take Shiro-chan with you and escape!"

"Don't be stupid! You're coming with us, we're going together!" Yuu said as I nodded while crying.

"Don't let us die in vain..."

I held his hand and squeezed it tightly while my tears continued to fall.

"No, we're not going to leave you here alone!"

Me and Yuu started to pull Mika as hard as we can to escape this place, I don't want to let go...not now, he was the person who saved me.

"Y-You're the one who saved me when I was all alone, Mika...there's no way I could abandon you here!" i kept crying as Mika didn't say anything.

"I've finally got a...family, I'm not gonna leave you here." Yuu said as tears streamed down his cheeks.

We fell on the floor as we attempted to lift Mika again when he pushed us away, tears falling on the floor.

"Take Shiro-chan with you and leave this place already!" He yelled, I was against it until Yuu grabbed my hand as we began to ran away.

"What are you doing, Yuu? We have to go back and help Mika!"

"We can't! Mika told us to escape!"

"But we can't leave him—"

"It's not easy for me to live Mika behind! But, I can't lose you!"

I began to cry as we made our escapade from the vampire city to our own world...without the others.
