...That's because they don't have any trust on that someone or person.

"Hey, why are we keeping a secret from Yuu about that?" Shiro asked.

Everyone was silenced as they turned to her who was in distress, "if your planning to use my family member, I won't forgive you."

"Watch your mouth, Shiro! We're just protecting him from the higher ups!" Mitsuba yelled, then the leader of the squad hissed her to stop.

"I also agree with Shiro...I understand why you two are keeping him a secret to the Hiragi family, but..." Kimizuki trailed off as Shinoa sighed.

"You want an explanation, is that it?"

Then Yoichi was the next one to speak, "we're comrades, right?"

"Yes. At least, I want to be...so let's talk about everything after this training, not just about Yuu-san, but about all of us." Shinoa said.

Suddenly, Yuu began to yelp in pain as his screams captured everyone's attention to him, they started to hold him down.

"From the looks of it, he has finally made in contact with his demon!"

"Why would a child like this be born?"

"You're a devil's child..."

Those awful words rang on my ears, realising that the sight in front of me is one of the fragments of my past.

"Come over here, Yuu..." i turned to my right as i saw my father with a kitchen knife in his hand.

"Father...?" i asked as i backed away, fear raptured me. "let's go to a better place, Yuu." he added.

I ran to the door with a fast pace as i screamed up to my lungs, once i reached outside the apartment, my eyes widened to see the view in front of me...

It was my family laying on the floor, their cold bodies as time didn't mattered to them anymore.

I felt something sharp stabbed into me as my blood oozed out of my wound, it stained the cemented floor.

"You should have died here, everyone died because you ran away..."

"Break down, Yuu..." the demon said as it's teeth pierced my neck.

"This isn't gonna make me lose control, Asuramaru...I made a promise with him, he needs me."

The scenery changed again as i was at the place where my family was killed, in front of me stood a young Mika.

"Yuu-chan, let's protect our family. I'm counting on you in protecting Shiro-chan." he said.

"Yeah, it's because you want my help that I can come save you." i said.

Our hands clasped each other, i opened my eyes to see myself laying on the ground that was filled with nothingness and white.

"I thought I'd win..." Asuramaru said as i stood up while wiping away the tear tugging in my eyes.

"I already know how you fight." i answered as he let out a smirk.

"Stop acting tough, you're a devil abandoned by your parents..."

True, all of what he said is true.

"If  Mika needs my help, and if Shiro, Guren, and the others need me...I don't care if I'm a devil or whatever." i said as i clutched my gloved hand.

"Being the bad guy doesn't matter as long as i don't see the people i care about getting hurt."

A pair of red eyes continued observing me, as his lips curved in a fancy smile.

"Oh yeah? You seem stronger than before, but whatever attitude you have is sort of annoying."

"What'll you do about it?"

He paused for awhile, and then he sprinted right at me with force.

"I'm gonna kill you."

Black shadows appeared from him as I tossed my sword on the ground, the blue haired demon stopped in tracks to shoot me a glare.

"What are you doing?!"

"I don't want to hurt you."

"What does that mean?"

"I need you, Asuramaru. Could you save Mika with me." i said as his eyebrows knotted.

"What's in it for me?" asking me that kind of question, i smiled as i learned this naive phrase from Shiro.

"I'll be your friend."

Before I knew it, I always caught myself looking after her. Thinking that I couldn't leave an simpleton by her own, she'll end up crying...

...That was when I realised how lonely she was, and wanted to become friends with an ignorant fool like me.

"It's tough to be alone, it's tough to feel unwanted from everyone. I know that too well." i explained.

"So you're going to be my friend?" he asked and gave me that idiot like look and laughed. "yeah!"

After this, I'll apologies to Shiro for doing that horrible thing to her, I bet she'll forgive me anyways...she's a kind hearted girl.

"Hyakuya Shiro...who is she to you? What does she mean to you?" Asuramaru questioned me.

"She's my...comrade." i answered.

"You only see her as a comrade? Are you sure?" he added, "hey, what does that even mean?" i huffed.

He playfully smirked at me, "to my perspective, she's your love interest, Yuu." i blushed furiously.

"W-What're you ta-taking about?!" i stuttered out my words, damn.

"Why don't you make her as yours already?" he said. "it's tiring to see you like this," he added with a huff.

'Damn demon, meddling in my life.' i thought, clearly embarrassed.

"Anyways, your girl is hiding something from you and the others."

"Shiro's not my girl!" i yelled, but then surprised in what he said. 'she's hiding what from us...?'

Asuramaru, answered me, as if reading my thoughts. "she's being threaten by the Hiragi family."

My eyes widened, "what?!" damn them, damn those Hiragis...

"Apparently, those people have invested interest on her. Stop her from making a contact with them if you don't want to see her hurt."

"...How come you know these?" i asked, "that girl is a half, she's at the boundary of humanity and demons."

My eyes widened from the shocking news, "d-demons...? Shiro is?!"

He smirked, "what kind of human has that monstrous strength? Did you actually think that it's normal for a small girl to have big punches?"

Oh no, don't tell me that...Shiro's being experimented too? If that's the case here, why does she have to go through that as well?!

"It's time for you to wake up, Yuu. If you want answers...go look for them yourself."

Slowly, my vision blackened out, darkness was all I could see as coldness was all I could feel...

It's so dark, oh...can someone light up my world that's dyed in darkness?

"Yuu!"

Someone's voice entered my ears, it was gentle but really distant. Instantly, I recognised this voice...

I felt something dripped on my cheek as my eyes fluttered open, the first thing that i saw was a pair of light shade of red eyes...

"Yuu!" she said, next to her were my friends looking down at me.

I turned my vision back to Shiro who was crying, 'so the voice that I heard back then was from Shiro...?'

I sat up while rubbing the back of my hair, "did I caused trouble for everyone...?" i asked.

"He's back...he really is!"

"Jeez, you were going to berserck."

I was taken back a bit, "oh, I had no clue..." i said.

"So, did you succeed?" Kimizuki asked, "yeah." i answered.

"Anyway, this is really tiring. Let's do Kimizuki's training next week." Mitsuba suggested.

"Huh?! Shut up! Do it now!"

"Well, now is a little too soon." Yoichi cooed and smiled.

"What, you too?!"

We laughed freely for awhile, "it must been hard, are you okay?" Shinoa asked me as i nodded.

"Yeah, and thanks to you guys, I'm not alone anymore..." i answered.

I ruffled Shiro's white hair as she flinched from my touch, i let out a soft smile and apologised.

"I'm sorry for stealing it away from you, was it your first?"

She slowly nodded while blushing furiously. Strangely, I felt really happy about that, I leaned near her as I whispered this in her ear;

"If it makes you feel good, it's also my first, so don't worry."

I backed away from her as her blushing face made me laugh.

"H-Hey Yuu! What do you mean by it? You horny pervert!"

"D-D-Did you two....?"

"I knew it'll happen soon, but what I didn't know is to happen this soon."

"...You serious?"

I blushed as I get what they're on about, "no, that's not it—damn it!"

Damn, this is really embarrassing... yet I was the one who started it.
