I opened my eyes and saw an familiar view of an blue sky, I sat up as the wind was pretty nostalgic and chilly. Until I heard another familiar voice.

"You're very direct with love and desire, Yuu."

I turned around and saw Asuramaru standing on top of the tip of my blade again while his back was facing me, the wind blows his long blue hair.

"You have no sense of right or wrong when protecting your family...You're completely damaged goods."

"If you're here, does that mean I'm unconscious or something?"

"Yeah, and for a long time..."

My eyes widened as I spent too much of my time being asleep, I stood up while moving hastily.

"What happened to Guren?!" I yelled as his petite form walked up to me with that mischievous smirk.

"See? That topic again. Always obsessing over somebody."

"Whatever! Just tell me what happened to Guren?! What about Shiro and the others?!"

"I don't know. I only see what your eyes see."

"Then, Guren is still..."

"Guren, huh? But as for your girl, Shiro-chan, she's with a vampire."

My eyes widened at the moment that Asuramaru spatted that Shiro was with a vampire. With a Vampire.

"What?!" I irked as I gnashed my teeth angrily of this terrible news.

"That Vampire is very thirsty, it might drink her blood if you don't woke up by now..."

I clenched my fist as I was enraged, how dare they...how dare those vampires...they will pay if they even lift a finger against Shiro!

"You better go now before its too late, the vampire is craving for blood."

I looked down on the ground as I can bet that Asuramaru can feel my anger, shadow casted on my eyes.

"Yeah, see you in a few, Asuramaru."

Quickly, I opened my eyes as I saw an unfamiliar place where I was laying asleep at, however, I have no time in dwelling in such little stuff. I have to save Shiro.

I unscathed my blade as I saw the traces of blood on the floor and decided to follow it, there I saw a pair of yellow and white together. Anger filled my veins as the vampire attempted biting the female's neck...

That's when I thrusted my blade in the blonde's chest before it could bite the female and draw blood from her neck.

"What do you think you're doing, Vampire?!" I yelled as blood escaped from his wounds.

I immediately regretted my actions when the vampire turned around as I saw who this person really is, my eyes widened in shock.

"Mika...?" I barely recognised him because the colour of his eyes aren't the blue ones that I knew, it was crimson red like the vampire's!

Before I could register everything that just happened, I was pushed by someone as I fell on the ground. I looked up and saw the culprit, my eyes widened even more when I saw Shiro's bare neck exposed to the light.

"D-Don't hurt Mika, Yuu!" she yelled while spreading her arms in the air, protecting Mika.

I looked at the blood on my blade as it streamed down after cutting his body, I didn't mean to do it...it's just that I thought it was an hideous vampire harming her...

"No, I'm not trying to hurt Mika! You know that I wouldn't do that." I fought back as I dropped my sword.

"Then why did you stabbed him with that blade? He already lost lots of blood just to save us and in the verge of dying...yet you...point a blade at him! Why?!" she screamed.

Mika grabbed her arm as he was still seating on the dirty ground, suffering while his other hand was holding the hole in his chest.

"It's fine, Shiro-chan...stop it." he calmly said as she began to tremble.

"I-I didn't mean to hurt Mika...I just thought that it was another hideous vampire...t-trying to take blood from you Shiro..." my lips quivered.

Her eyes softened a little bit as she seemed to be relaxed, until I heard a loud voice echoed inside my head.

"Kill him, Yuu..."

It was Asuramaru, I shook my head and ignored his voice that was nagging in my head. Now wondering why would he want me to kill Mika.

Then Mika screamed in agony as he was choking, we both gasped as we sat down in front of him.

"Mika, hang in there! You can fight it." Shiro said.

"I'm sorry Mika, I didn't mean to stab you...I was just afraid that Shiro might die in the hands of another vampire." I quickly apologised.

Though he kept groaning in pain as the both of us panicked.

"Drink my blood now, Mika!" Shiro convinced him while shaking him.

"What? No. Drink my blood instead, Mika." I said as I started unbuttoning my upper shirt.

"W-What are you doing Yuu? Stop fooling around!"

"You're the one who should stop fooling around!"

She flinched from my tone as I growled at her, "You've been hurt many times already...let me be the one who'll get hurt."

"I-I can't do that...!" she exclaimed.

Then Mika stood up as he moved away from us who was seating on the ground.

"S-Stop it you two! I won't be drinking your blood..." he said.

"What are you talking about?! You need to drink blood now!" I yelled.

"You're gonna die if you don't." she said while trembling.

"Shiro," I called as she turned to me while humming. "Let me do this."

"B-But...!" she cried as I smiled.

"Not buts," I grinned as she nodded before putting back her buttons on.

I stood up and stretched my arms in the air while smiling at the vampire.

"Drink my blood, Mika."

Then he dashed to me as he bit my neck and draw blood out of my neck, Shiro only kept quite and watched us. Damn, I didn't know what she felt when Mika drunk her blood really hurts like hell.

Afterwards, the three of us sat together on the cold floor of the abandoned building.

"You know what, Guren used to told me once that..." I started talking.

"Guren?" Mika asked.

"Oh, that's right. Mika doesn't know who Guren-san is..." Shiro said.

I nodded and began to continue my story telling. "He took both me and Shiro when I was thrown outside and cared for us. Anyway, he said to me back then was..."

I patted Shiro's head as she looked at with a confused expression while I smiled and remembered Guren's exact words.

"Even if the only reason to live is revenge, keep on living. Then, one day, someone who'll need my help will show up. That's why I stayed alive. Even when I thought it was pointless, even when I thought no one needed me, I forced myself to stay alive."

I smiled. "And here I am now, able to see the two of you again..."

Tears started to form in both Mika and Shiro's eyes as I grinned softly at them before whispering so lowly.

"So, Mika, Shiro. Let's all survive together, even if we struggle. Let's all stay together, right?" I said in the verge of crying like them.

Shiro smiled while tears streaming down of her eyes as she nodded. "Okay, let's all stay together...!"

We turned to Mika who covered his face with his gloved hand whole crying miserably. "It wasn't supposed to be like this. I came to save you guys. But you two have become stronger than before, Yuu-chan, Shiro-chan."

A vein popped on my forehead as I was pissed. "What?! I was always this strong!"

"No, you were a crybaby before."

"Crybaby?! Shiro is the crybaby! Not me, idiot."

"Both Yuu and Mika are the crybaby!"

We both turned around to see Shiro puffing her cheeks while tears flowing out of her eyes, then we started laughing happily, the three of us.

Then I felt a tug on my vest as I turned around and saw Shiro looking at me.

"Let's go help Akaru-kun, Shinoa-chan, and the others!" she said.

"I'm find with helping Shinoa and the guys except Akaru." I huffed.

"Yuu...please..." tears started filling her eyes as I laughed before flicking her forehead.

"I'm just kidding." I said as I stood up while I stretched my palm towards which she grabbed it as I pulled her up.

"Our family is in pinch, Mika. Help us out, okay?" I said while looking t the blonde vampire who drunk my blood a moment ago.

"Yes. Please help us, Mika." Shiro said while smiling softly at him.

We started walking out of the storehouse as I could hear Mika calling out our names, but we didn't mind and kept walking forward.

"I hope Akaru-kun and the others are alright," Shiro said worriedly.

"They're probably okay, we'll soon reach them. Don't worry." I huffed.

"You're right. I do hope so." she said.

We began walking on the plains of snow as the sun was setting, damn I hope that five hours haven't passed yet.

"Crap, how much time have passed? Hey Shiro, what time is it?"

"Don't worry, only an hour has passed since then. You still have four hours."

"Is that right? Thanks—wait, what? How did you know what I was talking about?!"

"I've known you since we're kids, I could at least know what you're thinking."

I could hummed in reply as I put my arms at the back of my head as it rested and supported my head while Shiro walked gracefully as always.

"Yuu-chan! Shiro-chan!" we turned around and saw Mika running hastily towards us.

"Mika, you brought us here didn't you? Do you know what happened to those guys back there?" I asked.

"I wasn't with you two when you got here, I just followed Mika's smell." Shiro said ever so innocently.

"I-I don't smell, Shiro-chan!" Mika blurted, embarrassed.

"Oh, um...sorry, what I mean is Mika's scent. His blood stinks in the air so I was able to find you guys." Shiro said while blushing.

"Enough of talking about those humans already and let's go!" Mika said as he completely got over it and grabbed my wrist.

He tried to pull me but I didn't budge as he gritted his teeth. "They're just using you two! They've been experimenting the three of us since we're kids!"

"I know," Shiro smiled sadly.

"Then...why are you still trying to save them when you know that they're just using you for their desires?!"

Mika's hand left my arm as he grabbed both of Shiro's shoulder and leaned near her face, growling angrily.

I pulled Shiro in my arms as I glared at Mika while holding her dearly.

"Stop that Mika, you're scaring Shiro...you shouldn't forced he in something she doesn't want."

I freed Shiro as she still continued looking on the ground while shadow casting on her eyes, then in my surprise, a tear rolled down of her eye.

"Because I was weak..."

She started trembling while clenching both of her small, gloved hands as she was still looking on the ground.

"Because I was weak and could only watch the rest of our family die in vain...in order for that not to happen again, I let Guren-san use me as I finally attain the power I wished for."

"Shiro-chan..." Mika said.

"I toughed it out! Every dosage they put inside of me, every experiment they tweaked in my body...I did my best in enduring everything because I need power! I need power to protect my family..."

Her legs finally gave in as she fell on the floor, weeping and grieving. Tears started spilling out of her eyes as it stained the ground.

"I don't want to lose anyone, so please...let's save our family!" she only looked on the ground while crying.

I crouched down as I pat her head, then she looked with that sad face which was so unbearable. It's been awhile since I saw her this broken.

"Yeah, we'll save everyone. So stop crying now, okay?" I murmured before taking my hand back.

She nodded as she smiled back, then we heard someone sigh as we turned around and saw Mika huffing.

"I'll only save that girl with the scythe and her friends..." he said before squatting down and smiling at her.

"So you do know them!" I exclaimed as he looked away, avoiding my gaze.

"Yes...but, can you also save Akaru-kun too?" she asked.

"Akaru-kun?" Mika asked.

"The guy with red hair and has a sword as his weapon." I chimed in.

"You mean the one who stabbed me in chest earlier, Shiro-chan?!"

"Yes...please, he's someone whose dear to me! Mika!"

I clicked my tongue when she stated that his dear to her, damn it.

Mika sighed defeatedly, "Okay...I'll save him too."

She smiled happily as I was surprised when she hugged Mika. "Thank you very much, Mika~!"

I fumed in anger. "O-Oy! Stop hugging Mika already, Shiro."

"You're just jealous, Yuu-chan." Mika said while smirking at me.

It added more fuel to my anger, 'Curse you Mika...I curse you...!'

In my surprise, Shiro hugged me as a blush crept up in my face.

"Thank you, Yuu...!"
