"Hideous humans, your time ends now..."

A trumpet appeared in front of the girl who was floating in mid-air as she blowed it lightly, then the atmosphere changed as bulky rocks appeared from the ground and raised up. The skies turned bloody red as the grounds lowered down.

"Capture the angel!" Kureto yelled.

Chains appeared out of nowhere as it was shot up in the sky and was tied around the female's arms and feets, making her immobile to move.

Kimizuki tried to take back his sister when Guren caught him and thrusted his blade in his abdomen as he fell on the ground, grovelling.

Yuu began to attack Guren as Mika helped him out for a bit, however, Yuu wasn't able to slaughter his family.

"What's wrong, softy? Do it."

"This can't be, Guren. Please tell me this is just a lie! You wouldn't betray your comrades, right?"

Yuu grabbed his collar to beg for him to stop, until tears appeared from Guren's eyes while he was still acting to be the villian. Then he stabbed Yuu in the abdomen and pushed him on the ground, harshly.

Something appeared from Mirai's back as everyone turned around to see what was happening.

"It's here. Demon of destruction, Abbadon, summoned by the Fifth Trumpet...Humanity succeeded in controlling the Seraph of the End."

Kureto gazed up the unknown beast in front of them as he snickered darkly, unlike other people who were practically scared of it right now.

"Okay, let it have the rest." he commanded, his eyes still on it.

"Yes sir!" Aoi replied as she grabbed something from the box and threw it to the monster, then the place where it got hit turned pitch black as it began to grow into something big and exploded to many pieces.

Once it reached the ruin grounds, the strange things that fell on the ground transformed into hideous monster, it began to attack every vampire and human nearby.

"We need to escape!" Shinoa exclaimed as Yoichi ran up to Kimizuki who was on his knees.

"Let's go, Kimizuki-kun." he says.

"No way! I can't leave my sister behind!" he yelled as he pushed his hands off him and stood up.

"Wait, Kimizuki!" Mitsuba yelled.

"You guys go ahead! This is my problem." Kimizuki says as he slowly began to walk up to his little sister.

Then he fell on his knees as he felt the wound that was stabbed in his abdomen penetrate through his body, it was excreting painful process.

"Kimizuki!" the blonde haired girl exclaimed as she ran up to him and Yoichi, supporting the pink haired boy.

"L-Let go of me...!" Shinoa heard a familiar female voice says as she turned around and saw three familiar people.

"Mika-san...Shiro-chan..." she muttered as she saw the albino haired girl being dragged by the blonde while Yuu was riding on his back.

"It's all over. The horrible stories all end now." Mika says as he tiredly carried the black haired boy.

"W-Wait...Mika! Everyone...my friends are still there." Shiro says while she was being pulled by the blonde, forcibly.

"Shut up and just do everything I say, Shiro-chan!" he snapped making the girl clammed her mouth.

She was surprised when he yelled at her, this was the very first time he raised his voice at her. Tears started to stream down of her eyes as she cried quietly. Mika noticed this as he immediately regretted it for losing his temper and shouting at her.

"Guren..." he heard a voice says as he smiled and began to walk again.

"Yuu-chan! Good. You're okay now. We're going to a safe place-"

"Where's Guren? He was crying. I need to save him."

"Are you still not letting that go?"

"And where are Shinoa and the others?"

"T-They stayed..." Shiro answered as Yuu turned around and saw her wiping away her tears from her eyes.

"Then we need to go save them! They're my family." he says as he pulled away from Mika.

"Me and Shiro-chan are you're only family." Mika says quickly.

"Shiro, Guren, Shinoa, Yoichi, Kimizuki, Mitsuba, and you! They're all my family, Mika!"

Then an Four horsemen of John came out of nowhere and attacked Mika as Shiro flown in the air and kicked it away from them.

The blonde fell on the ground as the two squatted down to his eye level, they've noticed that Mika was having a hard time to breathe and his wounds are deep, he also lost lots of blood.

"Mika! Drink my blood, now!" Yuu says as he raised him up.

"I-It won't help. I can't recover within these barriers." Mika says.

"Then what can I do?!"

"You can't do anything. No one can take down that demon..."

The two of them looked at the huge monster in front of them as the situation was getting worser.

"No way...we can't be saved?" Shiro says as a sweat trickled down her forehead.

"If you two go now, you'll still make it. Go help them." Mika says.

Shiro and Yuu looked at where he was looking and saw their friends in a not so good situation.

"Shut up! There's no way I can leave you behind!" Yuu yelled as Shiro nodded, agreeing with her.

"W-We finally got you back...Me and Yuu can't leave you alone!" the albino haired girl mused.

Mika smiled as he pushed the both of them away as his back fell on the ground, he was so exhausted.

"Go now, you two. You'll lose your family again." he huskily says.

Yuu stared at Mika who was in the verge of dying then to Shiro who was crying, both were filled with emptiness deep in their hearts.

"See you later, Mika." he says as his hair covered his eyes while shadows were casted upon it. Then he broke in a run to go back and save his family.

"What are you still doing here? Come with Yuu-chan." Mika says as he looked at the albino haired girl.

"I-I can't do that...!" she cried.

"Please...you're the only one who can save Yuu-chan. No one but you."

"B-But what about you?! I can't leave you alone, Mika."

"I'l be fine. I'm going to survive through this, don't worry."

Few moments have passed as she stood up and began to wipe away her tears before deciding to help Yuu.

"Alright. I'll save Yuu. Then I'll save you, so don't you dare to move from that spot. Mika!" she says.

"Yeah." he nodded weakly.

She flashed a smile that can assure him that she wouldn't break her promise, then she began to ran towards the guy she deeply cares for.

Shiro saw Yuu running towards their friends hastily, then behind his back was an Four horsemen of John trailing him. She leaped towards him and pushed him out of the way.

"Look out!" she yelled before pushing him out of the way.

"Shiro-" he was cut off when he heard the sound of ripping flesh and fabric pierced the air.

That attack was supposed to be for him, but instead she took it in his place. Her right arm was torn off by the monster as blood spurted everywhere.

Yuu's eyes widened as his knees trembled, his chest began to tightened, making it hard to breathe.

"I'm okay." Shiro whispered to him as his face became pale, as if he saw an scary ghost.

"It doesn't hurt. I'm not trying to be tough, in fact, I'm relieved." she added as she ounce every bit of her strength in her left hand.

"I'm relieved that I was the one who got hurt rather than you."

A little Shiro curled in a ball as she cried by herself in the darkness, the experiments were too painful for her to handle, so she cried.

"You're crying again, Shiro?" Guren asked as he made his way towards her.

"Guren-san...I...I..!" she sniffled as he ruffled her white hair.

"There, there. Tell me the reason behind those tears, Shiro." he says before wiping the tears away from her eyes.

"It hurts...all of the experiments hurts, it's too painful to endure." she complained while crying.

Guren saw bruises, scratches, cuts, and wounds visible on her skin. There were some bandages wrapped around her limbs.

"Let me tell you something, Shiro." he says before pulling his hand away from her hair.

"The truth is, everyone will hurt you. You just gotta find the ones worth suffering for."

She punched the Four horsemen of John as it faded right away from the strong impact that she inflicted.

Shiro fell on the ground soon after that, her arm was ripped apart as blood escaped from the wound.

"Shiro!" he cried as he crouched down and lifted her up.

"I'm so happy that...you're okay." she smiled weakly as tears started to stream down from Yuu's eyes.

"Stop saying stuff like that! You're not going to die, I won't let you. I wouldn't let you to do so." he says desperately while trembling.

"Thank you, but that isn't possible. I don't have any stamina left to heal my wounds nor have the strength to move. I'll just be an hinderance to you."

"You're not a hinderance! So please, stop making me...feel more miserable that I am now..." he cried.

Shiro stretched her thumb up to hive face and wiped away his tears.

"Hey, Yuu. I'm glad that you're the one who I fell in love with." she says quietly while smiling.

"Don't die. Don't you dare die. You promised me that you'll survive till the end! Don't leave me, please..."

She smiled weakly before muttering a single phrase that made his heart shattered.

"I'm sorry...I wouldn't able...to keep my promise with you..."

He didn't want her to leave him, he never wanted to. But there were times when you need to say goodbye.

"Thank you for everything...I'll leave everything up to you now. Protect everyone, okay?" she says softly before leaning towards him.

She kissed his lips as he kissed back, it was a smooth, passionate kiss. Then they backed away while crying.

"Yuu...I love you...I really do..."

"Yeah, I lo-" he was cut off when her eyes closed as she took her last breathe before meeting up with death.

A teardrop fell on her now lifeless hand as this was the cruel reality in front of him, the girl he loves the most, just died in his arms. What a cliché, don't you think so too?

"At least let me say it until the end."
