"Um...Guren-san, I'm not sure about letting Yoichi-kun try out for the Black Demon Series."

"Do you have a problem with my decision, Shiro?"

"I don't have a problem, but he doesn' have the strength to accept—" she was cut off by Guren as his stare pierced her soul, making her flinched.

"If he doesn't have the strength, he dies. That's the world we live in."

"You're right, however..."

"Shut up, hey Yoichi—you want to avenge your sister who was killed by a vampire, right?" Guren asked him as he turned around to his gaze.

"Um...yeah, of course."

"Then put your life on the line, or are you gonna quit? You can leave if you're afraid of dying."

Yoichi was speechless as he could feel himself shivering, then Yuu turned to him and encouraged him to go back, Kimizuki also agreed with him.

"Yuu and Kimizuki-kun has the power to face the demons, what about you? Do you have that power too?" Shiro asked as she looked straight to Yoichi's eyes.

'Power? But I...I don't even know that, even so, I want to avenge my sister.'

"I have that power as well." Shiro smiled and nodded in respond then he turned to Guren.

"LTC Guren-san, I'll do it because I want the strength to protect the people who are close to me!"

"Protect, huh? Aren't we the same?"

Shiro began to walk ahead as they continued to go through in the hallways, to where the Black Demon Gears are sealed in.

They reached the place where the highest rank of Cursed Gear demon holders, there were huge demon statues on top that gives out a creepy atmosphere.

"Eh~ It's been awhile since I last came here, it's still creepy!" Shiro giggled while staring at the furnitures.

"Don't tell me you're still keeping in touch with the demons kept in here."

"I am, all of them are really nice."

"Is that so? I'm surprised that your heart isn't eaten yet despite how many times you've been here."

"Well...I'm like a demon myself." she muttered under her breath as she let out a soft chuckle.

"Anyways, Shiro and I have no time hanging around with you guys, so let's get started already."

Guren explained them the instructions, they must not lose to the demon in order to gain it's power, if they lose, they'll be killed by the demon or the Lieutenant Colonel. The three of them walked up to the weapon of their choice as they seem to be quite anxious about this.

"I will attain this weapon and for Mika and Shiro, I'll exterminate the vampires with my own two hands." Yuu muttered as he draw the weapon as instructed by Guren.

I opened my eyes to see myself standing in the midst of white smoke, I began to walk aimlessly through the place as I observed the surroundings.

"Hey Yuu-chan, who abandoned us and ran away with Shiro-chan." the fake Mika said as he cuddled with the teddy bear beside him.

"Quit imitating my precious family."

"Oh? I thought I was touching on your softest part, but you aren't rattled at all. Why is that?"

"Just shut up and give me your power already, you damn demon."

Dark gas came out from Mika as his body fell on the floor, I was about to ran up to him when I felt those gas shot my vital parts and captivated me.

"You've already made a contact with a demon once, do you think you can beat me just because you beaten with a low rank like Myo-o?"

"Shut up. I said, give me your power already! You're making this longer."

"Your lust for power...is it because of your revenge?"

"Of course!"

"Because you lost someone important from you?"

"Yeah, I lost my family that I got for the first time..."

"Hmm, what about that white haired girl? Isn't she your family?"

"Of course she is my family! I wanted to protect her with your power and avenge my family members!"

"If you want power for revenge, I can give you unlimited power—"

"But it's still not enough, Yuu-chan." I turned around to see my family members talking to me.

"I can't give you my power unless you dedicate yourself to revenge." Akane said as my eyes widened.

"She has a point, I can't give you my power...not just yet."

"Yuu-chan, are you gonna leave us again?" Mika stood up while he began to walk as my eyes followed him.

"Are you going somewhere just by yourself again?"

"Yuu-nii wouldn't do something like that, would you?"

"You'll live with us again, right?"

"Get rid of love, Yuu-chan. We hate that the most..."

"We love lust, but we hate love."

"Shiro, Yoichi, Kimizuki, Shinoa, friends...come on, are you going to make friends and be the only one living happily ever after?"

"T-That's..." I could feel my heart getting rip of the pain, not physically but mentally.

"You and Shiro-chan are the only ones who survived, it's not fair."

"Leaving us behind, running away, going to school, making friends, both of you will just forget us..."

"No! Shiro and I wouldn't forget you guys, that's a promise!"

"Then get rid of your friends, get Shiro-chan back here because we're your only family, Yuu-chan." they began to get in my nerves until I couldn't take it anymore.

"Shut up! I...I need enough power to protect everything!"

Suddenly, everything vanished as the place was all white around me.

"What an incredible contradiction of love and lust intertwined...this is why humans destroy the world."

The demons appearance was a dark soul with red bright eyes, it has no physical body but it's voice is like a boy...a male demon, huh?

"As long as you have a Strong Heart, I'll follow you, but when I sensed your heart weakened, I'll eat you up."

"No problem!"

"My name's Asuramaru, call my name when you need my power."

"Asuramaru?"

"There's something a little odd mixed in you, you're already about 10% nonhuman, did the humans do bad experiment on you?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Don't trust humans, Yuu. Humans are scarier than vampires or demons, saying that to a human feels weird."

"Like I said, what do you mean?"

"The contract is complete, I'll lend you my power, be thankful." the gas became thinner as I saw her form, she has dark hue of blue hair that reaches her knees and possess red eyes.

"Open your eyes, make your desire stronger and open up a new path to the world, you human being!"

I opened my eyes as the first thing I saw was red eyes staring down at me, my vision became clearer as I recognised the person.

"Welcome back, Yuu."

"Yeah, I'm back, Shiro."

I sat up as I felt something sharp on my hands, it was a Japanese sword with highlights of green.

"Did it worked, Yuu?" i turned to face Guren as I grinned.

"Of course it did."

"Don't be so cocky, you took your time subjugating it." Kimizuki said as I witnessed that he passed as well, I turned to me right to see Yoichi still unconscious.

Shiro walked up to Yoichi as she leaned down to touch his forehead with hers, I don't know why she's doing that.

"What is she doing?" i asked, confused in her actions.

"She's going to determine if Yoichi can suceed, she always do that every time we held a Ceremony Contract." Guren answered to my question.

Then she stood up as she walked up to us while hanging her head low, what was she thinking about?

"What's your judgement, Shiro?"

"He's going to turn into a demon."

Then something crashed as we turned around to see Yoichi not in his place before, Guren stood up and sighed.

"Yuu, Kimizuki, there's a human eating demon. You two deal with it."

"Deal with him? How are we supposed to do that, Guren?"

"Exterminate him."
