"Let's exterminate these dangerous human beings!" Yoichi said as his arrow reached beneath while he was being controlled by the demon.

"Guren-san, I am against—"

"Keep your mouth shut, Shiro. You aren't going to do anything at all."

"B-But, this is too much." Guren ordered the two guys to kill Yoichi, their comrade who has fallen into a demon.

At first it was unacceptable, but they didn't have a choice, it is Kill or Be Killed right now, Kimizuki was about to kill Yoichi when Yuu halted him not to kill him just yet.

"Snap out of it Yoichi! Aren't you going to kill vampires with me?!" Yuu yelled as an weapon appeared in front of Yoichi as he used it.

"Lieutenant Colonel Guren-san, this is going too far, please don't make them kill Yoichi-kun. They aren't ready!"

"First Shiro, now Shinoa? Will you two shut up and just watch? Or...do you want to kill him instead?"

That made the two girls shut up as Gueen smirked, knowing they couldn't argue against him, he was an high ranking officer after all.

"Do it, I won't kill a comrade. I promised myself that I won't abandon them and Yoichi, you can't kill me either...snap out of it!" Yuu threw his weapon away, as if giving Yoichi the permission to kill him.

"Yoichi! Are you gonna stay under the bed and watch your family die again?! Just come out of there and protect your comrades!" Guren yelled as they turned to him and went back their gaze at Yoichi.

"Shiro-san, do you think Yoichi-san can go back like he was before?"

"Yeah, it's because he has comrades, surely he'll come back."

Shiro answered Shinoa's question who was still in disbelief, they're gaze was fixated on Yoichi.

"Yoichi-kun isn't that weak, he has the power to beat a demon too."

Moments later, tears silently fell on the floor as Yoichi's eyes turned back to normal, he dropped his weapon and ran up to Yuu and hugged him.

"Everyone of us has lots of chances to break out of their shell and grow, but they can't make the most of those opportunities on their own...."

Everyone turned to Shiro as she smiled widely at them.

"That's why we need comrades, they will be there to help you when your in trouble. Do you get it now, Yuu?" she turned to Yuu who averted his gaze from her, she giggled slightly.

"Well...Yeah." he mumbled while he lightly scratched his cheek.

"Since you've got your Cursed Gears and you kinda worked as a team, let's go out to the front line, shall we?" Guren said as Yuu was extremely happy about this good news.

"We found out that the vampires from Kansai region are planning on taking back Shinjuku, we're going to investigate that area."

"We're going to investigate again? My body is packed a wallop already today."

"No whining Shiro! Just follow my orders brat."

"Yes, there isn't a day that I can say no to you, huh?" Shiro sighed as she began to stretch her arms in the air.

"W-We're going out into the field, straight away?!"

"Don't we get a break or something?"

"It's such a pain to raise kids..." Guren sighed as Shinoa could only laugh at this.

"Oh, by the way, you're going to Rei after this right, Shiro?"

"To Yamada-sensei? Yes, I am."

"Hmm, afterwards, come to my room alright? We're gotta talk later."

"Yes sir."

Guren started to walk out of the huge room as Yuu walked up to Shiro with a puzzled expression.

"Who's this Yamada guy, Shiro?"

"He's a doctor that is taking care of my body all this time, I'm thankful of Yamada-sensei treating me well."

With what she said, Kimizuki and Yoichi blushed while Shinoa smirked.

"So what's your relationship with Yamada-san, did something happened between you two?"

"What do you mean, Shinoa-chan?"

"Oh, don't play dumb with me...you said that his taking care of your body, right? No doubt, something has happened~!"

"Yes he is taking care of me because I couldn't control my power just yet so he's giving me antidotes to maintain me from going insane." she titled her head to the side, poor girl, she was so innocent in this kind of conversations.

The three was silence for awhile, thinking it wasn't that case.

"Oh is that so? I thought you two did it already...I was mistaken."

'That's too direct, Shinoa!' Kimizuki and Yoichi thought.

"Did it? What do you mean by that? I don't get it." she eyed her as Shinoa just sighed in her dismay.

"No it's nothing, I mean absolutely nothing about it."

"Alright...then, I'll be going now. You guys are free to do whatever you want, but tomorrow we'll go outside, be prepared." Shiro said as they nodded, then she walked outside, leaving those four by themselves.

"I don't get it, how come you and Shiro-san are friends, Yuu? You two are the exact opposite." Kimizuki huffed in confusion.

"W-Well, they were together in the vampire city so I guess that's why?" Yoichi said with a small smile.

"She was the one who forced me to be friends with her in the first place..." Yuu mentioned as everyone nodded.

"Anyways, opposites do attract."

"Make sure to drink those medicines, alright? If you don't, you'll get sick and unable to fight against vampires."

"Yes I will, thank you very much Yamada-sensei..."

I bid my farewells as the door had automatically closed from behind, I walked out hallways after finishing the daily check ups.

"Ouch...that needle hurts." I said as I grabbed my arm that was injected.

I ignored the pain as I walked up to Guren-san's room silently, enduring the pain that is tingling. Tears began to form in my eyes as I didn't allowed it to fall from my cheeks.

'I promised myself not to cry anymore,
I don't want to hinder the others!' I thought as I wiped away my tears and started to walk again.

Once I walked through the hallways, some of the people greeted me as I greeted them back with a smile, then shortly, I reached Guren-san's room.

I knocked three times before calling for his name, then he gave me the permission to enter as I did anyways.

"What did you want to talk about, Guren-san?" I asked polietly, he turned to me as he patted my head.

"I don't like to complicate things, so I'll get in the bat already." he said as I nodded, he was quite serious.

"Y-Yes, what is it?" he paused for awhile as I only looked in his eyes.

"Do you want to fight beside Yuu and his teammates?"

"Wha-What?"

"I mean—since those three had their Cursed Gears with them, I was thinking maybe I should let you joined them...so what's your answer?"

"Y-You'll let me be with Yuu and the others? Seriously?"

"If that's what you wish, I bet you missed your childhood buddy...sorry for separating you two." he said while his back facing me.

'Being Guren-san's right hand was really fun, Mito-san, Goshi-san, Sayuri-san, and Shigure-san were so kind to me...they've even let me fight with their team every time as a sixth member, but...'

"Thank you very much, Guren-san, for the times when you've always helped me when I'm in trouble. I wouldn't forget your kindness...I'm sorry for being selfish but—" I looked up to him with a smile.

"I wanted to fight beside Yuu."
