Marco's POV

I'm on my way to Pops's room to report our result. Pops was eyeing me weirdly, "Is there something wrong-yoi?" I said with a slight tilt. "Its nothing" that's weird, I placed the paperwork on his desk before heading out. 

"If you need anything just ask me-yoi" Pops nodded as we exchange smile and head out. Ace was sleeping on the deck, as usual but then the Coco News came and perch on the railings. I said thanks and gave it some money, I opened the paper as I instinctly shouted-

"WWHHHAAATTT?!!" my voice shook the ship, as others rushed towards me. Ace took the newspaper at me before announcing, "A new pirate had entered the New World, beware 'Phoenix Empress' Luna, to be said acquired a unique Devil-Fruit power to turn into a phoenix but as we all knew, there's only one pirate who had the ability, that is Marco 'The Phoenix' who is the 1st Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, we currently not aware where she came from but the bounty on her head is 800,000,000 BELI. The marines wanted this unique phoenix wielder to be capture either dead or alive, report to the nearest marine HQ if more information needed" Ace breathed out, as we all stared at him and the paper in his hand in awe. 

"She just came crashing down, without our knowledge about her and know she had a bounty even higher than Marco and Ace?!" Haruta shouted making us shivered slightly. True, she should be having a slight lower bounty since she's a rookie but this? This is ridiculous! 

The vivre card had showed us that we were nearing the owner of the card, I looked up and there was red sparks in the sky. I turned my arms into wings and flew there. There it is, the woman we've been looking for, Luna. She was dodging bullets that were fired by marines with ease, and she was sending ice shards? At them. 

"Luna?" I said her name, and she turned towards me. Oh how her phoenix form never fail to impress me, her eyes were wide but soon she averted her eyes from her and instantly took down the marines with one big swoop. 

"What're you doing here?" she said as she landed on the ground, glaring daggers at me. "Came to hear me reject you again?" she said with a smirk, that hurts me truly. I don't want to face her but deep inside my heart, I wanted to show her the prove of my love towards her, now I sounds like a stupid teenager. 

"I've come here with an order and free will-yoi" her head tilted slightly. "Pops wanted you to join us no matter what, and I wanted you to be with me eventhough I'm nowhere near your heart-yoi" I said, voice filled with sincerity. 

"You don't know the reason why I crashed landed and why I ran away, did you?" I shook my head. 

Normal POV

Luna looked at Marco, before opening her mouth "I will show you why, but only tonight" Marco nodded, "Meet me on top of that hill, an hour before it strike midnight" and then she turned into a phoenix then left. 

"Leaving me dumbfounded again-yoi" Marco smiled and shook his head, "I will finally know what you've been hiding from us and me-yoi" he whispered silently before heading towards the Moby Dick in order to get permission from Whitebeard.
