Aptis Speaking 1. Compare and contrast two photos

Both pictures show people doing exercise/ what people do to work out. However, in picture 1 they're doing yoga. All of them are people in their fifties or sixties and they're sitting, crossing their legs and putting their hands together like/as if they're praying.

In picture 2, the people are young, they must be in their twenties or thirties. They're doing aerobic, and maybe dancing along the music. All of them look very excited and full of energy.

2. What sort of people/ What would it be like (respond accordingly)

For yoga, the elderly usually enjoy it more than the young as you do not have to make too strong movements. It's also one of the best ways to be calm and relaxed. Meanwhile, / At the same time, aerobic is more suitable for young people as/because it can help them burn calories more effectively while enjoying the upbeat music.

3. Which do you prefer? Why?

-Well, personally, I'd (definitely) choose/ opt for/ go for aerobic because I'm still young, so I prefer dynamic exercise. Besides, it's fun when you can work out while listening to your favorite music with a lot of other people. And most importantly, I wanna lose some weight so this kind of exercise should be the best choice.

-I think doing yoga would be a better choice/option for me because firstly, ...secondly, and finally,....
