After a gruelling series of midterm exams, it was finally the weekend.

While most other people would spend their evening going out and playing with their friends, I spent my time lounging around in my dorm room, reading light novels like I usually did.

However, my plans for the evening was cut short when I received a mysterious message from Yukina on the school app.

"Yuu-kun, do you want to play Among Us with me?"

Seeing that game's name, a flood of suppressed memories came to my head.

Since everyone in class started playing it, I downloaded it as well, in the hopes of joining them. I thought that it would be my ticket out from being a loner. Despite that, no one wanted to invite me to their games due to the ten person limit.

We could only make two lobbies at most as there were twenty five students in the class. This meant five of us had to be left out.

Luckily, Kouji, Rinbayashi, and Nora didn't play, so it reduced our count to twenty two. Then, on the rare days she did come to school, Kita said she wasn't interested in playing. To my surprise, Ayano and Ikesugi played.

This left twenty one students to play the game, which meant one of us had to be left out.

As expected, that person was me.

I would say I was upset, but I saw it coming. Even if Yukina or Yukimura hosted the game, I wouldn't get a chance to ask if I could join, as the riajuu would hoard around them like leeches and fill the lobby in seconds.

As a result, the only times I've been able to play the game was on public lobbies... and it was as depressing as you would imagine.

It seemed that, since they couldn't find a tenth player, as a last resort, they forced Yukina into inviting me. I mean, who else would do it? Aside from Nora, no one else had my contact info.

I sent a swift reply and hopped on my laptop. In this game of Among Us, I'll show them not to mess with me.

I opened the school app on my laptop, and was added to a server named "E Class" I'd never seen before. From the whisperings I've heard in class, I always suspected a group like this existed, but they purposefully hid it from me for some reason.

Even Kouji, the most anti-social student in our class, was added to the server before I was. This was blatant exclusion.

I didn't understand why I was so disliked in the class. Even though I try my best to stay out of other people's way, they were adamant on keeping things related to the whole class a secret from me.

It wasn't the first time I've been ostracised from groups like this before though. The same things happened to me in middle school. People knew to ignore me since I was a loner, so being excluded from the E Class server didn't hurt me as much as I thought it would.

Sure, I was a little bitter, but as the social outcast, it was inevitable. I'm numb to the pain now, so I should suck it up and be glad I was finally added to the group.

I was pinged to a channel and scrolled down to it. When I entered it, the first thing I saw was Yukimura badmouthing me.

"I can't believe we're actually going to let that fucking loser play"

Sakigamiya also chimed in.

"Right? I'm gonna kick him after tonight lol"

"Lmaooo I still can't believe we forgot to add him"

Nora sent a message after Yukimura.

"Takanori-san's in the server now, you two really shouldn't be saying that kind of stuff..."

"He's a man, he can take shit talk lmao" Yukimura sent.

"I didn't realise, my b. If you're here, hurry up and join the VC" Sakigamiya sent.

I followed her instructions and joined the Among Us voice chat, bumping it up to ten people. I'm guessing these were the people in the lobby.

Obviously, you had Sakigamiya and Matsushita, class leaders. Then there were the other popular classmates, Yukina, Akihiro, and Katsumi. Thankfully, there was also my usual "friend" group, Nora, Yukimura, Mitsuba, and Tanaka.

I put on my headphones and listened in to the conversation around me.

"Glad to have you join us, Takanori-san."

Matsushita was the first to greet me, followed by Yukina and Nora.

"Can I have the room code?" I asked.

"XIAAOF." Sakigamiya swiftly replied. "Hurry up, we're waiting on you."

"I'm lobby master by the way, de gozaru!"

Tanaka boasted that he made the lobby. I wondered why.

"We agreed to let him make it because he was dumb enough to actually pay for the game on PC, that friggin nerd. If he hosts, we won't get ads." Yukimura explained.

"For reference, this is my first time playing... so um, if I make any mistakes, that's why..." Nora shyly admitted.

"It's okay, we'll vote you out first." Akihiro joked.

I joined and glanced at the settings. It was a 2 impostor lobby on The Skeld. A good choice. The settings were identical to the recommended ones, but with a few changes for a better experience.

In particular, we could make 2 emergency meetings rather than 1, player speed was bumped from 1x to 1.25x, and kill cool-down was lowered from 45s to 20s. Just like the recommended settings, there was 1 common task, 1 long task, and 2 short tasks.

I quickly changed my colour to yellow. My username was Takanori, plain and simple.

Yukina's username was Yukina, and her colour was pink.

Akihiro's username was ladiesman123, and his colour was purple.

Sakigamiya's username was sQc, and her colour was lime.

Matsushita's username was matSUShita, and his colour was brown.

Yukimura's username was Ronaldo, and his colour was blue.

Mitsuba's username was God, and his colour was red. (Seriously, why?)

Tanaka's username was Cao Cao, and his colour was green.

Nora's username was Astolfo, and his colour was cyan.

Katsumi's username was Okome, and her colour was white. (Okome means rice.)

The game had begun.

"Okay everyone, mute your mics!" Matsushita instructed.

For this first game, I was a crew-mate. The common task was swipe card, simple enough. My other tasks were fuel engines, stabilise steering, and download data.

First, I headed straight to admin with Yukimura and Tanaka. Yukimura and Tanaka immediately hopped on the card scan and started to swipe. I stood back to watch the task bar.

Tanaka was done in a second, and the task bar was raised. It seems he was safe. Yukimura on the other hand...

I watched him for about two minutes. In that timespan, he still hadn't finished the task, and the bar didn't go up. That's kind of sus. Regardless, I can't stand around admin all day, or else Yukimura will become sus of me, so I did my card swipe.

It took about two attempts. The first try was too slow. Figures. Afterwards, I left admin and headed to storage. As I did, I noticed Katsumi was at the garbage disposal. I walked up behind her and watched rubbish fly out of the ship, meaning she was safe.

She ran off into electrical, and I went to the refuel station. Suddenly, a dead body was reported.

It was Katsumi who called for the meeting. The dead person was Yukina. Everyone turned on their mics, and started to discuss the information they had.

"Where?" Matsushita asked.

"It was in electrical! I think the impostor vented!"

"Did you see anyone?"

"No, but the body was next to the vent."

"Couldn't have been me or Mitsuba, since we were in reactor when the body was reported." Akihiro said.

"Can confirm, Aki-kun's safe." Mitsuba said.

"I was up in navigation." Matsushita said.

"Um, guys, I have a question..."

Just as Nora was about to speak up, Yukimura cut in loudly.

"I'm sus of Takanori. Bastard was standing in admin doing nothing."

An accusation directed towards me, huh? I kind of expected it.

"I don't think so Yukimura-san. Takanori-san was with me before I reported the body!"

"That's correct. I watched Katsumi-san empty garbage in storage, so she's safe."

"That's even more sus." Alice chimed in.

"I came from upper, not electrical."

"Yeah, well, if you vented, you could go into med bay and walk all the way around."

"What? That would take too long."

"Speed's at 1.5, so you would have plenty of time. Guys, I think we know who the killer is."

"Come on, this is flimsy evidence and you know it. Why are you so adamant on getting me out? Where were you when the body was reported?"

"Ooh, Takanori-san's getting salty because we got him out immediately!"

Instead of answering my question, Sakigamiya began to mock me and laugh at my face.

"Answer my question."

"Don't need to, we all know you're the killer. You probably even killed Yukina-san first to make it look like it wasn't you. It's not your fault that you suck at Among Us Takanori-san, it's just that I'm too smart."

The arrogance of this girl... Sakigamiya voted, followed by Yukimura and Matsushita.

"Boom, get fucked!" Yukimura cackled.

"Wait, hang on. Before the rest of you vote for me, let me explain. At the start of the game, I went to admin with Yukimura-san and Tanaka-san. I stood back while watching those two do their tasks. Tanaka-san did his, so he was safe. However, Yukimura-san took two minutes and didn't get it completed, so I stopped watching to get on with my tasks, one of which was refuelling in storage."

"The hell? Are you seriously accusing me over that?! Card swipe is fucking bullshit! Everyone here knows I suck at it and take forever!"

"This is my first time playing with you."

"Card swipe sucks, I agree de gozaru."

You got it right first try Tanaka...

"Um... guys, can I speak now...?"

Nora raised his voice slightly, only for Sakigamiya to moan over everyone else.

"Ugh, just vote Takanori-san out already, we know it's him!"

"Someone's getting salty that I haven't been voted out yet immediately." I retorted sarcastically.

"Ooh, it looks like Takanori-san has a mouth on him when he gets salty!" Sakigamiya wheezed. "That's so lame! You keep getting mad that you're about to get booted out, it's hilarious! You're like a little crybaby!"

Even though I swung back, Sakigamiya doubled down and swung back ten times harder. This was the first time I saw this nasty side of Sakigamiya leak out. I really didn't like it.

"I mean, Takanori-san's right about me doing admin task de gozaru. Me, him, and Yukimura were in admin at the start of the game, and he didn't hop on immediately de gozaru. His reasoning is valid, de gozaru."

"That's one of the oldest tricks in the book. Are you really gonna fall for that dumbass's word? He can't even play Impostor properly!" Sakigamiya laughed.

"Takanori-san, aside from card swipe, what other tasks do you have?" Matsushita asked.

"Uh... engine refuel, download data, and steering in nav."

"None of these are visual tasks. If you had one, we could prove you're not the impostor."

"Too bad for him! Everyone, hurry up and vote Takanori-san off!" Sakigamiya shouted over Matsushita.

Oh, you've got to be kidding me... how do I counter someone vocal like this? Shout louder? Accuse someone else? Tell them to skip? As I thought, votes started to pour in.

Mitsuba voted, Akihiro voted, Katsumi voted, Tanaka voted.

Ultimately, I decided my best course of action was a desperate plea for mercy.

"Are you guys really gonna fall for what she's saying? She won't even answer where she was when the body was reported. I can prove I'm not impostor if you follow me and let me do a task without anyone else doing them next round."

"Are you gonna put up an actual argument? The fact you keep deflecting only makes me more confident it's you. If you somehow survive, I'll bite and watch you do a task. But I'm 110% sure it's you." Sakigamiya continued to laugh haughtily.

"Oi, Takanori, Nora, vote already. We're waiting on you two." Yukimura said.

Out of frustration, I voted Sakigamiya. I was probably going to get ejected, but I made a last ditch attempt at getting revenge.

"Nora, hurry!"

"We're waiting on you now."

Sakigamiya and Matsushita started to pressure him into voting. With about thirty seconds left to vote, Nora finally managed to speak up.

"Um... I've been meaning to ask since the beginning, but I couldn't, since everyone else was talking..."

"What is it?" Sakigamiya bitterly asked.

"Um... why are our names r-red, Sakigamiya-san?"

The whole voice chat went into an uproar.

"HOLY SHIT, WA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Yukimura started bawling with laughter.

"When I said we'd vote Nora-san out first, I didn't mean it that way." Akihiro also started to die of laughter.

"Fail of the century, de gozaru..." I could hear Tanaka facepalm on the other side.

"Bruh, did Sakigamiya-san nearly trick us into voting off Takanori-san, what the fuck?" Mitsuba wheezed.

"Oof... sorry Alice-chan, you're next on the chopping block." Matsushita chuckled under his breath.

"Uh... um... did I do something wrong?" Nora innocently asked.

"YES! Y-YESS YO-OU D-DID YOUF F-FUCKINGIDIOT! W-WHY TH-THEF-FU-FUCKDIYOU S-SAY TH-THATYOU—"

Sakigamiya proceeded to speak a language that I didn't understand. Actually, it was Japanese, but she was speaking so fast and so slurred, no one understood what was she was screaming about.

"I-I'm sorry... this is my first game... I-I don't know what I'm doing..."

"Oh, Alice-chan is always like this in Among Us. You'll get used to it." Katsumi laughed awkwardly.

Jeez, this is going to be a long night... it'll be a miracle if I don't lose my hearing by the end of it.

Nora proceeded to vote, ending the discussion. To my surprise, four people had voted to skip: Akihiro, Katsumi, Tanaka, and Nora. Four people voted on me: Yukimura, Sakigamiya, Matsushita, and Mitsuba. I was the only person who voted for Sakigamiya.

No one was ejected. (Tie.)

When we returned to the game, the impostors (presumably Sakigamiya) sabotaged oxygen to prevent an emergency meeting. While everyone else ran off to go fix oxygen, I stood around the table so that, when it was fixed, someone would call it immediately.

While everyone else was in admin and oxygen, me and Sakigamiya ran around the central table in a game of cat and mouse, as she tried to kill me before the meeting cool-down was over. Once it did, I narrowly dodged Sakigamiya and slammed the button to enter the next emergency meeting.

"Nora-chan, you are the single worst impostor partner anyone could ever ask for. Oh my God... you incompetent little brat..."

Before anyone else had a chance to say anything, Sakigamiya's raging voice boomed over all of us. I could feel the seething anger radiating off her as she slammed her desk repeatedly in frustration. It was like watching a female Yukimura, but even scarier since it was the usually cute and calm Sakigamiya...

"Vote Sakigamiya-san first since she knows how to play the game." Matsushita said.

Sakigamiya began to complain again, and everyone started to vote. Naturally, everyone (except Nora) voted for Sakigamiya, and she was ejected.

sQc was An Impostor. (1 Impostors remain.)

Now we had to wait for another emergency meeting. This time, Ishima called it, and we all voted out Nora to get a victory.

Astolfo was An Impostor. (0 Impostors remain.)

The first game was a sweet victory through impostor incompetence. Nice.

"NORA I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T LEARN THIS FUCKING GAME I'M GONNA—"

Once again, Sakigamiya started speaking the language of the Gods. Actually, this time, she was speaking French, but it might as well have been Japanese, since it was just as slurred and unintelligible as before.

"I-I'm sorry Sakigamiya-san... really, I didn't know..."

To try and calm everyone down, Matsushita shifted the conversation topic away from Sakigamiya's rage.

"So, uh, Nora-san... why is your username Astolfo? Isn't that one of the paladins of Charlemagne? I know Tanaka-san set his name to Cao Cao since that's his favourite Three Kingdom's character, but I didn't know you liked this kind of history."

"Oh... um... I do like history but... it was Tanaka-san who told me to change it into this."

"Eh, really? Why's that?"

"Um... I'm not sure... but I think it's a cool name! R-right, Tanaka-san?"

"He doesn't know, he doesn't know!" Mitsuba began to snicker uncontrollably.

"Exactly de gozaru! Astolfo was son of the King of England, Otto, who was based on the real life Offa of Mercia de gozaru! Astolfo also shares one thing in common with Nora-san, de go ho ho ho zaru."

That was a weird laugh...

"What would that be?" Matsushita inquired.

"DON'T TELL HIM TANAKA-SAN! DON'T TELL HIM! PFFFFFFT!"

Mitsuba started to lose control of his laughter and stepped away from his mic. Tanaka also chuckled, laughing like a dark lord.

"You don't need to know, de gozaru. Nora-san, I'll tell you in DM, de gozaru."

"Um... okay..."

A few seconds later, Nora made a cute confused noise.

"E-eh? I don't get it... what's this image supposed to mean?"

"It's an image of a man, de gozaru."

"But... you sent me an image of a girl...?"

At that point, the voice chat broke out into even more wild laughter. It seems like everyone but Nora got the memo. Ouch.

"Okay, I'm calm. Sorry Nora-san, I guess."

After a brief break, Sakigamiya returned to the lobby with a refreshed tone of voice.

"I-it's okay... I'm sorry for screwing up like that... I promise I won't do it again!"

"You better. Okay, Tanaka-san, start the game!"

"Hai hai, de gozaru."

The second game began. Once again, I was a crew-mate. My tasks were swipe card, inspect sample, divert power, and download data, which was in cafeteria. As such, I went to the upper right corner and started to download.

After, I headed to admin, where Yukina and Mitsuba was. I uploaded my data while those two did their own tasks. Then, someone sabotaged reactor.

Yukina and Mitsuba immediately fled admin, but I stayed to do card swipe. It took me about four tries this time. Yukimura was right about this task being a nuisance to do.

I then headed to med bay to inspect my sample. I'll leave the task in electrical for the start of next round, as the impostors's kill button would be on cool-down.

As I headed to med bay, an emergency meeting was called. Matsushita had reported a dead body.

To our surprise, there were three people already dead: Tanaka, Yukina, and Akihiro.

"Which body did you report?" Sakigamiya asked.

"I found Ishima-san's dead body in the O2 corridor. It's likely the killer did a drive by kill and vented."

"Hey nerds, dunno if you noticed, but there's three dead people. You guys know what that means, right?" Yukimura shouted.

"Don't vote on seven, yes, we know Yukimura-kun, stop trying to act like a smart-ass." Sakigamiya sighed.

"Thank you Sakigamiya-san. If you vote on seven, you're a fucking clown and I'll shit talk you for doing it!"

I feel tempted to vote Yukimura just to mess with him, but I didn't want to awaken his wrath.

"Did anyone see Yukina-san or Tanaka-san before they died?" Matsushita asked.

"Tanaka-san went solo, off into security. Probably died there." Sakigamiya said.

"Me, Yukina-san, and Mitsuba-san were in admin before the reactor went off. When reactor happened, those two ran out while I stayed in admin."

"You idiot, why didn't you go with them? That's so sus." Yukimura said.

"Well, if those two were going, I wouldn't be needed. I had to swipe card in admin, and it took me like four tries before I could get it right."

"Fair nuff, card swipe takes fucking ages."

Sakigamiya voted.

"I voted for the real killer." Sakigamiya wheezed.

"You what?! But why?! Don't vote on seven, what the fuck?!" Yukimura exclaimed.

"Mitsuba-san, is this true?" Matsushita asked.

"Yeah, Takanori-san's right. Me and Kazuraba-san went into reactor and stabilised it, before going our separate ways to do our tasks."

"Where did you go after?"

"I stayed in reactor cuz I had Simon Says."

"Where did Yukina-san go?"

"She left reactor and went down, either to electrical or storage."

"Stupid bitch probably died there." Yukimura muttered.

She's not stupid, nor is she a bitch...

"Guys, I voted for the real killer." Sakigamiya wheezed.

"You're not meant to vote on seven you clown!" Yukimura groaned.

Yukimura voted.

"I voted Sakigamiya-san for being a stupid fucking idiot. Put on your clown makeup and go back to the circus where you belong, dumbass."

"It's cool, you'll be the one heading to the circus later once it's proven I voted for the real killer." She continued to laugh at her own joke.

With about twenty seconds left to vote, everyone else voted. I skipped vote, but I was sus of Mitsuba.

When it was revealed who voted what, Sakigamiya had voted for Mitsuba, Yukimura had voted for Sakigamiya, and me, Matsushita, Nora, Katsumi, and Mitsuba had skipped.

No one was ejected. (Skipped.)

I ran off to electrical to divert power to O2. As I did, Mitsuba followed me inside. This wasn't good.

I cautiously went round back and turned on the switch, before getting the hell out of there. There was one problem though.

The doors were shut. Mitsuba crept up behind me as I pushed myself against the door, desperately hoping it'd open.

However, my luck had ran out. As the red coloured hand of God reached for me, I ran side to side, hoping to miss his bloodstained grasp.

It was all in vain though. My fate was sealed the moment I saw his jaws snap open wide. He slashed through my squishy yellow body with his lanced, piercing tongue.

I felt completely violated at that kill animation, and at the same time, it was revealed Mitsuba was an impostor.

Though, he probably killed me in the worst place possible. Once the door opened, Sakigamiya was standing there, ready to swoop in like a vulture. Mitsuba panicked and tried to run away, but she reported my body before he could, and shot them into an emergency meeting.

"I told y'all I voted for the real killer."

Sakigamiya voted.

"So it was Mitsuba-san after all... should've expected it." Matsushita said.

Matsushita voted.

"I couldn't let Takanori-san live, he was too dangerous to be left alive! Welp, Katsumi-san, I leave the rest to you."

Mitsuba proceeded to vote.

"W-wait, m-me?! I-I'm not the impostor! Guys, he's lying! It's not meeeee!"

Katsumi began to scream as everyone became suspicious of her.

"Let's vote her out next round then." Yukimura said.

Yukimura voted.

"I don't think it's Kou-san... me and her have been together the whole game doing tasks..." Nora said.

"That's right! If I was impostor, I would've killed Takayuki-kun by now!"

"I'd personally like to air on the side of caution. Next round, we can vote off Katsumi-san."

"Wow, for once the ikemen said something agreeable."

"Guys, hurry up and vote for the real killer!" Sakigamiya bellowed.

"Who's the real killer...?" Nora asked.

"It's Mitsuba-san, start paying attention. Don't make me repeat myself, god. I hate doing that."

Katsumi and Nora voted.

All six players had voted Mitsuba out.

God was An Impostor. (1 Impostor remains.)

"Who's the clown now Yukimura-kun? Hmm?"

"Oh shut it Sakigamiya-san..."

Sakigamiya giggled eccentrically as she got the last laugh against Yukimura.

Returning to the game, Katsumi and Nora left cafeteria to do their tasks. Sakigamiya followed them, leaving Yukimura and Matsushita alone around the table.

From these five, it was difficult to tell who was impostor. Considering Mitsuba said his partner was Katsumi, there was a high chance he was lying as a last ditch effort to get an innocent out. Though, I had my doubts about this.

If he really wanted to get someone voted out, it'd be better to accuse Sakigamiya or Matsushita because they were better players. Katsumi's lack of intelligence (to put it nicely) would actually be a benefit for his partner, as she was more likely to blunder or rely on other people's judgment.

By getting her out, he'd only be giving the crew a better chance of winning as they still had Sakigamiya and Matsushita on their side, so there was some validity to his words. It could've even been a double bluff for all I know. I still wasn't convinced Katsumi was the other impostor, but it seemed unlikely, all things considered.

As ten seconds passed, reactor went off. Matsushita and Yukimura headed to reactor, meeting with Katsumi and Nora, who were already there.

The group of four returned to cafeteria, and Yukimura called the emergency meeting.

"Alright, let's get Katsumi out and get it done and over with."

"Wait, Alice-chan, where were you when reactor went off?" Matsushita asked.

"I was heading to reactor but you guys already stabilised it. I'm pretty sure Nora-chan and Kou-san is safe, so Mitsuba-san was lying."

"Yeah, she watched us do tasks." Katsumi said.

"So it's either you or Yukimura-kun... honestly, we could just vote both out in succession. I say Yukimura-kun first, I've seen him do no tasks this game. Very sus."

"What?! I did tasks!"

"Yeah, like what? Being a clown?"

"I did garbage chutes! The ones in O2 and storage and shit!"

"Anything else?"

"I don't fucking know, my brain's too small to remember."

"Alright, he's admitting he's impostor, vote him out."

Sakigamiya voted.

"What?! Holy fuck, you literally weren't there while reactor was happening! That's also sus as fuck! I'm voting you!"

Yukimura voted.

"So, Katsumi-san, Nora-san, did you two see Alice-chan do tasks?" Matsushita said.

"Um... no. She watched us... but we didn't watch her." Nora said.

"She didn't make you watch her do tasks cuz she can't do any! She's using you guys as alibis, c'mon!" Yukimura said.

"To be honest, I'm inclined to agree with Yukimura-san. Me and him have been together the whole round and he hasn't killed me. He's safe."

Matsushita voted.

"Damn, maybe you aren't a complete Matsushitter after all."

"Isogai-san likes to think he's 5head but in reality his brain is smoother than my ass. Kou-san, Nora-chan, you know I'm innocent. I know you'll make the right choice and vote Yukimura-san."

"I trust Alice-chan!"

Katsumi voted.

"Oh... I guess it's up to me now... um..."

Nora felt the pressure as the crew took two sides. It was literally boys vs girls. Would Nora side with his fellow brethren, Yukimura and Matsushita, or with his fellow females, Katsumi and Sakigamiya?

This nail biting tension didn't help that, depending on who Nora voted, it would completely change the course of the game.

"I think... I think it's Sakigamiya-san."

"Hell yeah! Nora, you the man! Biggest cock out of all of us! Let's go king!" Yukimura cheered him on.

"Traitor! You fucking traitor! You betrayed us Nora-chan! How could you?!" Sakigamiya screamed at him.

"It's simple, really... after watching us do tasks, Sakigamiya-san left me and Kou-san. A few seconds later, reactor went off. It's likely she did it after trying to secure an alibi with us."

I had to agree. Sakigamiya had been acting really sus. Besides, even if she wasn't impostor, at least her banshee-like screaming wouldn't be present in the next discussion anymore.

Nora voted.

"Y-yous-smooth br-brain fuckers, you're areg-goingto to fuckinggregret thisy you s-s-stupid d-du-um-dummies!"

sQc was not An Impostor. (1 Impostor remains.)

Now there were four players left: Matsushita, Yukimura, Nora, and Katsumi.

At this point, I wasn't interested in doing tasks anymore. I was more interested on who was the impostor.

The four crew-mates loitered in cafeteria, keeping an eye on each other as they waited for the discussion cool-down to finish. Once it did, Nora initiated the meeting.

"I-I'm sorry, Sakigamiya-san..." Nora said with a miserable, guilty tone.

"YOU FUCKING BETTER BE!" Sakigamiya quickly unmuted, then muted, herself to take a jab at Nora.

"So it really is either Yukimura-san or Matsushita-san!" Katsumi exclaimed with shock.

"Yukimura-san, who do you sus more between those two? I'm feeling Katsumi-san because of what Mitsuba-san said."

"Hell yeah, get the brick wall outta here!"

Matsushita and Yukimura voted.

"I'm gonna follow Alice-chan's instructions and vote Yukimura-san."

If Nora voted Yukimura too, the game would perpetuate into a stalemate of two people voting one person on the other side. If this continued, the game would go nowhere, as they would continue to vote for the same person. I'm sure Nora knew that.

"I'm sorry Kou-san but... I have to vote you."

"What?! But Takayuki-kun, you saw me do tasks! You know it's not me!"

"Yeah... I know it's not you... but if I vote for Yukimura-kun too, then we'd have to do another meeting. If that happened, the impostor could set off a crisis and kill one of us off easily, reducing us to three anyways. That's why... I'll hedge my bets and narrow down the suspects to Yukimura-kun and Matsushita-san."

Nora voted.

The results were revealed. Matsushita and Yukimura voted for Katsumi, Katsumi voted for Yukimura, and Nora voted to skip.

Katsumi was ejected through majority vote.

Okome was not An Impostor. (1 Impostor remains.)

Three players left. If the impostor could kill one now, he'd win. It was up to Nora's sleuthing skills to solve the mystery of the final impostor. I agreed that, between Yukimura, Nora, and Matsushita, it was either Yukimura or Matsushita.

The impostor set off reactor. Nora and Matsushita ran off immediately to it while Yukimura stood behind at cafeteria. I followed Nora and Matsushita as they stabilised it. Then, Matsushita loitered in reactor.

Whether the impostor realised it or not, by sabotaging, they gave Nora the key piece of information he needed to win the game.

Nora and Matsushita ran back to cafeteria, and Yukimura charged towards them. Somehow, through a miracle, Matsushita managed to dodge and use his sharp reflexes to call an emergency meeting before the impostor could kill him.

"Okay, we know it's Nora, get him out."

Yukimura voted.

"Sorry Yukimura-san, but I won't vote immediately for him. To be honest, I'm not sure who I can trust anymore. Considering I've been wrong twice now... Nora-san, I'll let you make the call."

"What?! Are you really gonna side with him?!"

"Unlike you, Nora-san had Alice-chan and Katsumi-san vouching for him, and both of them were innocent. In this critical point of the game, I can't vote for the wrong person."

"You say that like you're a crew-mate... damn it, I should've voted for you! You dirty ikemen, I knew you were being too nice to me earlier! You were trying to blend in!"

Yukimura started shouting angrily, his microphone crackling with each yell.

"Nora, trust me, skip vote so we can vote him out next round!"

"No... I've made up my decision."

Nora voted.

"Yukimura-kun... you're the impostor."

"Huh?! What's the evidence?! Where's your proof?! I did nothing wrong! I ain't the impostor!"

"There's various pieces of evidence... such as the only sabotages in this entire game being the reactor, or the way you talked subtly changed during discussion... but the biggest one was Matsushita-san himself."

"What do you mean Matsushita?!"

"Eh? Me?"

"Yes... I saw Matsushita-san do a task in reactor."

"...h-huh?"

Yukimura sounded shattered.

"Oh, yeah. I had the press numbers in order task... unlock manifolds, I think? I thought I might as well get it over with while I was in reactor. I'm surprised you noticed. It's your first time playing after all."

"Um... well... Takanori-san mentioned the task bar earlier... and I kind of figured out what he meant... plus, you stayed behind in reactor for some reason, and I wanted to stick with you... so when I noticed the task bar raise, I understood you were doing a task... I just didn't know which one, of course..."

"Wait, he probably faked it! I also did a task... uh, wires in admin!" Yukimura exclaimed.

"So... why were you doing a task when reactor was going off? Didn't you stay behind in cafeteria...?" Nora asked.

"The common task was swipe card, not fix wiring. Takanori-san even mentioned it earlier." Matsushita said.

"...shit! Fine, I admit it! I'm impostor, you got me!"

"Ha, got'm!"

Matsushita clapped his hands together and slammed vote.

Yukimura voted for Nora while Matsushita and Nora voted for Yukimura.

Ronaldo was An Impostor. (0 Impostors remain.)

Once again, a victory for the crew-mates.
