It was the day before Halloween, all the girls got together to decorate the house and go shopping for costumes. The only house that was big enough to have this party was Lucy's, it was in a gated community, only the rich of the rich could live her. Lucy didn't care much for it and that's what I liked about her, she had a lot of money and didn't let it get to her head.

"Alright first, we need to figure out what everyone is going to be."

We all look at one another, I look to Juvia, shrug my shoulders and look back to Lucy. "Come on guys we need to figure this out soon." Still no one gave their opinion on what they wanted to be. Lucy lets out a long sigh, she rubs the side of her head knowing she's not getting anywhere. It wasn't till Erza spoke up.

"Lucy, you should be a bunny."

"Bunny? Why a Bunny?"

"Cause, I have the perfect costume that will fit you."

No one had the nerve to ask why Erza had a bunny costume. Lucy agreed more out of fear than excitement. With one person having a costume, the rest of us started talking about what everyone else should be. We had long discussions on what everyone should be, one at a time. It took most to the night, but in the end everyone got a costume. Juvia would be a pirate, Erza a mummy, Lucy a bunny, Levy a mermaid and I got stuck being a witch.

"Why do I have to be a witch? I'm not ugly or mean."

"I think you'll be a very cute witch mavis."

"Couldn't I just be a cat maybe?"

Everyone shook their head, denying me of my dreams. I groan and flop onto the couch in the living room. Everyone was setting up things for the party, lights, fog machine and even a big orange chandler in the den. Lucy's Maid virgo was moving a lot of stuff out the way and helping hand things from the ceiling. Her short pink hair really brought out the blue in her eyes.

"How does this look princess?"

"Amazing work Virgo."

Over the course of the day, the house was coming together and getting scarier by the second. Soon the party will be starting. Anything can happen.

"Natsu, hurry up and finish your costume. Lucy's party is going to start soon."

"What about you snowman. What the hell are you anyway?"

Gray turned around so I can see his stupid costume better. I think he was some kind of evil Knight or something."I'm Absolute Zero, a ice wizard." His hair was slicked back, had a scar over his eye and big chest place that displaces his name. "No one is going to get your costume." He grabbed me by the shirt and got in my face. "Oh yeah, you look like a giant lizard.

I pushed him away from me and placed my hands on my hips. "I'm the fire king Igneel, I'm a dragon frostbite."

"What did you call me?"

"Did you have ice in your ears?"

No butting heads, Gajeel slapped us up-side the head. We glare at him, not liking what he did just now. "You guys are annoying. I don't know why I hang out with you guys sometimes." He pinches the bridge of his nose clearly annoyed by us. "Hey Gajeel, what are you going to be?"

"I'm not dressing up for this stupid party, I'm just going for fun."

"Fun really means he wants to see Levy."

Gray and I snicker at each other when we see the small pink tint on his face. He turns away from us. "Well...maybe I'll go as a wolf." I hear my phone go off, I see its our old friend Jella, saying he's almost near my place. "Jella is almost here, so lets get everything done." We go to the bathroom to quickly touch up ares that have either smushed or fallen off of us. My phone goes off once again, this time Lucy's name shows up. When I read it, I get confused on her question. Gray peers over my shoulder along with Gajeel.

"Is Zeref coming?"

We glance at each other, trying to figure out why she's asking. "Why does she asking that?" I found it odd that Lucy was asking about my weird brother. I asked her why, but she just asked the same question again only the time I knew she was getting pissed. I told her I didn't know. What she wrote back was an order for me, 'Go find out'

"Guys, I'll be back."

I left my room and knocked on Zeref's door. He told me it was open and I walked into the dark room. I smelt sweat at the moment and notice that Zeref was taking break from doing some type of work out. He eyed me down with a water bottle in his hand and towel over his shoulder. "What do you want?"

"Lucy wants to know if your coming to her party tonight."

"Why would I go, there your friends not mine."

He set his bottle on the table and wiped his face with a towel, I was about to ask him why he was being rude, but Lucy's name showed up again, this time she was calling me. I answered and put the phone on speaker. It was hard to hear her cause the music and the sounds of other people were in the background.

"Natsu, Where are you. Did you do what I asked!"

"Yeah I did and were coming soon don't worry."

"Well, what did he say."

I looked to him, he shook his head no. "He said he-"

"Lucy, this Levy needs you to help her out and Erza is hurting people by dancing."

I heard Mavis's voice she sounded concerned and worried. "Mavis, Hi."

"Natsu? Oh hey, when will you be here? We need to get pictures again."

I saw Zeref perk up just bit and now it was making perfect sense. "Yeah I know, I was just asking one more person if they were coming to the party."

"Oh yeah?, Well who ever this person is, I can't wait to see them. Now get yourself over here."

We heard a loud crash in the background, from what I could make out it was someone falling and curing, I could only imagine it being Erza's dance victim. "Be there soon guys, bye." No Zeref pushed past me. "Where are you going?"

"I need to shower so I can leave with you to go to this party."

"Oh yeah, what are you going to be?"

"Don't worry about it."

OOO, what is Zeref going to be for the party. Not much of the party action was in this story, but fear not its coming in the next part, so do not worry. Also I'm trying to figure out if it will be three or four part. Anyway, hoped you liked it :)
