20 minutes before the incident

Why am I coming here? It's a stupid party, filled with people I could care less about. I sat in my car looking at the house where my brother is, along with his friends. The base from the house was shaking the mirrors on my car. "Geez, why did I come here," I recall the phone call Natsu had with his little girlfriend, I heard her voice in the background. It was so sweet and she sounded like she was having so much fun. What if I ruin it by showing up? I sigh heavily in my car, I close my eyes and lean my head back. I heard a knock on my window, looking over I see the darkest hair along with a dark pair of eyes. Not this girl again. I put my window down, wondering what she could possibly want.

"Hello again, Zeref."

"Who are you again?"

"That's so rude, its Ultear"

She leans up from the window with her hand on her hip. I take a glance at her costume and see its some slutty bunny costume, she must have caught me cause I hear her smirk and lean down once again but this time sticking her chest out more. "Like what you see?~" I don't respond but I open the door instead, she jumps out the way. "I'm standing right here." I put my keys in my pocket while giving her an annoyed look, she scuffs at me and starts to walk towards the door. I follow right behind her, the music starting to get louder and louder and now I'm able to see inside the house better. I wonder where she is in there? What's she doing? Is she drinking with anyone? The thoughts race through my head even after I enter the house. Ultear is now hanging on my arm, I look around the house to see if Natsu or Mavis is anywhere in sight.

"Come on Zeref, let's go have some drinks."

She takes my hands in her's and guilds me across the living room, everyone  is looking at us, whispering about something that I'm sure isn't true. When we get to the kitchen lots of people are having Jell-O shots, drinking beer then hitting the cans on their heads. Thinking how idiotic they are, Ultear breaks my thoughts by offering me a red cup filled with what smells like beer. She winks at me while she gulps down her own drink, I take a sip but I quickly put it down when I see that guy again. What is he doing here? I slam my drink down and follow Adam, I push through the crowd of people where I hear them ask 'what my problem is.' I stay right on his trail to see where he's going with that drink in his hand.

He ends up in a room with people just standing around talking to people, some by the window, others sitting at a card table, but in the center was a loveseat and two people were sitting at it. I clenched my jaw when I saw Adam sitting with Mavis, she looked so beautiful in her costume, the cutest witch ever. "I wonder what they're saying." I couldn't get any closer to them otherwise they'd see me. I do however see Lucy from across the room, she too was seeing who Mavis was sitting with, but when she sees me her eyes grow wide. I shake my head at her to not say a thing or even come over to me, she nods and goes back to where ever she came from, but thanks to her I miss where those two went. Shit, where did he take her? I leave my spot and go to different people who were in the room, asking them if they saw where the two people on the couch went. "I think he took her to a room down the hall." Some girl said as she pointed around the corner.

I leave that room quickly and try to see what room it is exactly, there were four rooms one across from each other. This was going to be hard and I have to find her, what if he does something to her, or something even worse. I go to the first door, it was locked and but I managed to open it somehow, inside were two people in the middle of a make-out session, I heard a string of curse words as I shut the door on them. I go to the next room which was unlocked, no one was inside there at least I think, it smelt weird though. Closing the door I narrow it down, I go the third door and press my ear to the door, I hear nothing inside but then I hear Mavis, asking for more. MORE?! MORE WHAT?!

I didn't hear anything after that until I heard Adam say don't move. I couldn't take it anymore, I kick the door open to see Mavis on his lap completely buzzed. Adam smirked at me and put his hands on her hips and gently put her on the bed to which she lays down making humming noises.

"Oh look what the cat dragged in, Mavis's weird stalker."

"What the hell did you do to her!"

"Well I was about to have some fun with her, but thanks to you I have to wait a little longer, but down worry once I'm done with her, you can have my sloppy seconds."

His face was now in hitting range and that's exactly what I did, I hit him right in the jaw which caused him to back off. I go over to her and grab her wrist. "Hey, what are you-" I told her to be quiet but she had to be difficult, she sat on the floor and refused to move, that drunk grin appeared on her face, and then she did the one thing that pisses me off more than anything. She stuck her tongue out at me. Feeling the anger now boiling I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder. She hit my back as I took her to the backyard, I knew the cold air would clear her head, I put her down on the bench. She now got that she messed up when she saw just how angry I was with her.

"Zeref Wh-What are you doing here?"

I leaned in close to blushing face, I really loved when she gets like that. I hold back the smirk the best I can.

"You and I need to have a little talk, Mavis~"

AHHHH forgive me for always being so slow to update any of my stories. I just moved recently and I just got internet back so I'm really hoping to update a lot more now. Just bare with me guys, I'm sorry I'm so slow 🙏🏻, but here is the long overdo Zeref POV. I'm not sure if I like how this came out, let me know. Anyway, hoped you guys liked it :)
