Calling.
I sat for a couple days. Or was it weeks? Months? Hours? Time in the Void was odd and distorted. But soon, there was a tug on my soul. I didn't know what this meant at first, but then I remembered what...
Was it Gaster? I couldn't tell.
...they told me. So I flicked to my AU.
My stomach did loops when I saw the title.
Undervoid.
I had a feeling I knew what I was supposed to do. I found the Ruins, and then the hole in Mt. Ebott. I wasn't surprised to find Frisk there.
"Sister..." I whispered when I saw them. Then I noticed their SOUL.
It was cracked, breaking even. They weren't strong enough to survive the fall, and when Frisk doesn't survive the fall, they lose the ability to RESET. I had one idea to save them.
I gave them a part of my SOUL.
Just a little, just enough to keep them alive.
I was not letting Frisk go.
Not again.
They opened their eyes and looked up with a gasp. They had no idea that only five seconds ago they were on the verge of death. I tried to think of what to say as they walked down the corridor.
Frisk, this is your long lost sibling that climbed up this mountain and died?
Nope.
That wasn't going to work.
Then thoughts started popping up in my mind. With me dead, the timeline must be really messed up. No buttercup game, no Going to the surface with Asriel, no Flowey. So who was going to be at the end of this corridor?
It was Asriel.
I practically fell (not that I could anyway) when I saw him. Bandages were not a trait of the sweet, loving Asriel I remembered.
"Hello. What's your name?"
Frisk seemed hesitant as he looked towards them. But Asriel was nothing to fear.
So I told them so.
"Do not be afraid. This child will not hurt you."
I said in my most level voice.
"Frisk."
Okay.
I can do this.
Just try not to mention that you happen to be their long lost sibling.
That died down in here.
By Sans' hands.
Oooooooookay, stop being depressing, Chara.
Asriel smiled in Frisk's direction.
Oh, Petal.
I missed you.
I don't think I ever realized just how much I missed him. He was always so kind, and believed in everyone. Believed in me. No doubt he'll believe in Frisk too. So what he said next shocked me.
"You must be a human. No one else could have fallen or come this way. Will you... will you hurt anyone?"
The way he seemed so scared... It kind of stung. He had never been fearful of humans before. In fact, he always cared for every human that had fallen down to the Underground. So what had happened?
I had a feeling it had to do with his eyes.
Frisk's response was a sweet no, so I felt I might as well threaten them. After all, what's the point of being mysterious if your not threatening?
"Good. NEVER hurt Asriel or you'll regret it."
