-[I'm so glad you're back Chara!] - said a familiar voice when I woke up.

I looked around. I was inside a room with four white walls. Frisk and Sans was beside me. "What happened?.." I asked myself. I got lost in the broken sharps of my memories.

That's right... Judgment Hall. Blood. Bones. Wounds. Fire. Everything was so real. It's from the last time line, I guess Frisk took the Pacific route this time.

-[You were in a pretty bad shape kid]

I got up, despite my bones hurting, I got no energy left, but I was determined to get out of this room, something about Frisk being with Sans make me... uncomfortable.

-[You.. Shouldn't move just yet Chara.. your legs are still injured from that accident]

Oh right... hah... I saved a cat then got hit by the car.. I'm a fool... I walked to the door, despite my legs.

-[ that's not a good Idea kid.]

I got pick up into mid-air by Sans' arms. It felt safe. I kept my blank expression. I don't want Frisk to get jealous, I know how that worked out in the last timeline. He put me down onto the bed.

-[Rest.] - said the man with silver hair. He wears a Blue Hoodie under a black coat with jeans. Hah.. and I got a crush on this man. I looked at my bandages-covered legs and let out a small sigh.

-[I'll go get some food!] - Frisk said, they ran out of the room with the brightest smile.

I close my crimson colored eyes to regain my memories.

-[I used to love you]

A voice flash through my mind. I felt a sharp pain through my soul, a crack was form.

I open my eyes. Sans was sitting on the chair that's placed next to the bed.

-[I want to help you] -He said.

-[You know what happened in the past] - I said with my cracked voice.

-[I know. It it doesn't mean you have to take it all yourself. It's the player's fault. Isn't it?]

I stayed quiet.

Weeks latter I could go to school again. Not the greatest thing. I sat alone on the rooftop. Closed my eyes.

[What's your happy ending?]

Where did the warm from the past went? It's fading away and flow with the wind. And the lie your give to me, I kept and still believed into it. It's the promise you made with me from long ago.

My heart trembling at your words. But the night is covering me, I forgot about our love.

I opened my eyes. The timeline reseted. A new story begin. I meet him again. "That girl" silently looked at the past.

I sat alone in a quiet room. It's so cold I yearned for your warmth. But I know it won't happen. I let out a sigh. You hugged me. The pain in the past still remains inside me, I pushed you away. I don't want you to take the pain I had to go through.

I ignored your words even though my heart is aching. I closed my eyes.

All the love you gave to me, all the love seems so real.. I'll keep it forever so it could warm up my heart.

[Soon, til the day we can be with each others]

I opened my eyes, staring into yours. It reminds me of the days we had before this all begins. But then the happy days had to end. I sinked into the pain of mine again.

Please let me hide away the pain I had so I could love you.

-[ I Beg you to forget. Forget all about me.]

I got up and go away from him, despite the drop of rain falling from my eyes. I knew that there's would be a day, where everything sink into the darkness it will carve into my heart and make me bleed out again.

Maybe one day you will let me go. Where to go? I lost track of time.

All the joy and happy times. All the times you spent with me. Your heart still belong to her?

-[You remember? That time you built me a castle!]-I smiled with the bitterness in my eyes.

"Will it last forever?" I asked myself with a bitter smile. That castle built with sand,water and our love, on that lonely beach we went to. I know that one day when the waves hit it enough, the castle will just break into pieces.

-[ And when I'm with you I feel like I could do almost anything! Cause I believe that we had each others! My heart always belong to you! ]

Our love feel like.. a dream between the cruel reality. Our love then slowly fade away just like that dream.

I don't want to ruin their relationship. I looked at Frisk.

-[I never done anything to break our promises!]

But how can I smile?

It's getting annoying how Sans acts so close to her! How can I smile when I know the one I love is slipping away!?

-[I won't let the past repeat again!]

I stand on the rooftop, looking at the sunset. Sans was standing next to me. Maybe one day I can finally feel that warmth. Til the day, we can be with each others. I saw something flash through the corner of my eyes, just like a reflected ream of light on a knife. I looked behind me and saw Frisk. She ran towards Sans with tears in her eyes, ready to stab him. I got into her way and take the blade for him, changing the mistake in the past. Crimson tears dropped from my sweater, I hugged Frisk making the blade goes deeper into my flesh. I can see her crooked smile with tears.

-[Now, look back at the times where you had all the happiness in the world. Your deserved it. Don't destroy it.... like I promised, I won't take him away from you]

I pulls the knife out of her body and hold her tight. Now the familiar voice slowly fade away. Where are you going!?

The figures of the ones I cared for slowly fade away. I've completed my promise to you. I smiled gently.

-[Please come back to me....]

The words I heard, I won't forget your voice, it will stay in my heart forever. And so the night covers my eyes.

I didn't know that this would come when everything sink into pain. And I.. realized that my heart's aching cause I cared for you..

The last words slipped out of my mouth. And maybe when I forget about me, they could be happy with each others again. Maybe that's the "Happy Ending" I yearned for.
