No one knows. What I do know is that the mainland made her tougher and possibly stupider considering Kiara said she's slumming it with 'King Kook' Rafe Cameron. My guess is, she's more like her mother than our father. But the truth is, I don't know much about her anymore,"

John B always found it hard to relate to his sister. Despite their age gap only being 11 months, he felt they were years and worlds apart. Partly because they were.

While Phoebe lived with her mother and 'fancy pants' rich stepfather on the mainland, John B was left to slum it on the outer banks with his father. He never minded much, he loved his dad and he loved the beach, but when his power would go out and he had no way to afford the bill needed to turn it back on, he thought of Phoebe and her mother living in Kook heaven and couldn't help the bitterness that overcame him.

Phoebe always tried to communicate with her brother, sending him hand-written cards and drawings only to never hear anything back from him. It used to sadden her, to be ignored by her older brother she admired so much until that sadness turned into anger and that anger turned into birthdays coming and going without a purchase of a birthday card or envelope.

They were half each other and half their other parent. As they got older, the differences became more apparent with the distance between them until they considered themselves only children.

Until a hunt for gold consumed with greed changes all that and forces the halves of them alike to become whole. Thus, introducing Phoebe to a hyperactive blonde whom she relates to more than the world may think.
