apps used:
• ibis paint x
• picsart
• canva

you can also do this on picsart but I find easier on ibis paint x.

1; open ibis paint x
and choose the size 1:1

2; click on the camera
icon and import a photo

3; switch both of the canvas

4; choose this brush.
you can actually choose
any brush.

5; long press on any
part of the photo

6; fill the whole canva
with the chosen color

7; save it!

8; change the blending
mode to overlay

9; ^^

10; open picsart
and click on the
black background
color

11; ^^

12-13; save it! do
the same with the
white color!

14; click on grids

15; choose the colored
picture you saved from
ibis paint x twice and
the black color twice

16; border is equal to 4.
you can make it bigger
if you want

17-18; switch the
two colors

19; open a new grid
and choose the picture
you saved from ibis paint
and the white color

20; border is equal to 0.
you can make it bigger
if you want

21; open canva
and click illustration
then frames

22; click the frame
on the middle right
corner and make
it bigger

23; choose the collage
or grid you made
and crop the edges

24; click on frames
again and choose this
one. it's on the first
option!

25; make the frame
bigger

26; choose your
overlayed picture

27; click on the
middle icon to
duplicate it

29; choose the other
collage or grid you
made
