Initiation

The sweet realization that you have a headache is not a good one. Cody groaned as he slowly came to, opening his eyes slightly to stare up at what appeared to be a white paw holding...Smelling salts under his nose? "Phuhuhu finally your awake! I was about to use the fish on you, but since it wasn't your fault you got knocked out it wouldn't be very kind of me to go and punish you now would it!" The strange thing stated. It appeared to be the voice from over the intercom from earlier.

"Huh?" He groggily mumbled, his vision finially focus enough to see a...bear? The best in question was like yin and yang. One half of it was white and the other black. The teddy bear's smile seemed to be malicious on the black side, along with it's eye being a red jagged bit, but it was a lot happier and kinder on the white side. Interesting to say the least. "Whats going on? Did I get a concussion and am hallucinating?" Cody questioned, looking around at some of the students around him. It was then that he spotted another boy on the ground, and then it clicked. Somehow the other boy had been launched into him, sending them both flying. They hit something rolled a bit and blacked out. Bam, mystery solved. 'Why the actual heck though?' He questioner silently.

"Heya dude you still look outa it man. Do ya need a kiss from your good fellow rainbow Prince Charming to wake you up from your sleeping spell~" Liam cut into Cody's thoughts without a hint of regret. Wiggling his eyebrows like heyyyyyyy.

Yeah no, he did not swing that way oneee bit. "Uh no, I'm one hundred percent fine thanks uh. I'm gonna go see if the other guys okay now. Heh heh." Cody hastily stated, before getting to his feet and escaping. He was a bit dizzy at first, but despite that he was fine. Cody spotted Lyric sitting next to what appeared to be another girl. The other girl appeared to be wearing tights or something, along with a red teeshirt with black sleeves that said something along the lines of 'Dance til the world burns.' He couldn't read it well from this distance. A light grey jacket was tied around the girls waist, and it seemed like her and Lyric were getting along pretty well. They were sitting on their knees next to the other boy that had been flung at him for some fricken reason.

Just then the bear apparently decided he'd waited long enough, and stalked over to the unconscious boy. Lyric and her new friend both stepped away, being rather cautious of the bear. A rather large fish was gripped in his paw, and with one swift movement he'd grabbed the unconscious boy's scruffy brown locks, and slapped him across the face with the dang thing! "Wake up fish slap!" The bear shouted, and proceeded to repeat the action until the boy jerked awake. Now with a throbbing cheek. "Finally! Andrew you should be more responsible. I said eight o'clock sharp did I not? That does not mean wander the halls looking and snooping around mister." The bear scolded.

Samantha, the Ultimate Mechanical Engineer approached the stuffed bear, "How do you work? Are you just like any other robot? Self functioning or remote control? I'm so curious!" She squealed.

The bear wasn't having it though, and he raised a paw. Razor sharp claws came out, and the poor startled girl jumped back with a shriek. "I'm not a stuffed animal or a plain old robot! My name is Monokuma, and I'm the headmaster of this school." He announced angrily, glaring towards Samantha.

"I-I'm Sorry! I'm just really curious...." She apologized, trailing off because she didn't even know why she was apologizing to something that shouldn't be caliber of feeling emotion unless it possessed an advanced AI.

Cody ignored them and walked over to the now awake boy. He assumed that this was Andrew Volt, since Monokuma had went to go find him. His fellow student appeared to be wearing a blue shirt with thin black stripes. It even had a collar. Over it he wore a green and grey jacket, and had a pair of white headphones around his neck. A part seemed like it would glow if they were in use, but since they weren't they were dull. Andrew was cradling his cheek, a look of pain on his face. "Your Andrew right? Well my name's Cody, and I'm the Ultimate Counselor. How about you?" Cody inquired, kneeling down and kinda squatting to be able to converse with him on his current level.

"Yeah, I'm Andrew. Ow-uh I'm the Ultimate Gamer." He replied with a pained smile. He seemed pretty nice and chill to be honest. "Do you think there's any ice packs around?" He asked, wincing once again.

He shook his head, "I don't see any office or Trainers office, so probably not. Monokuma would probably know though." Cody stated, glancing over at the bear. Monokuma appeared to be conversing with Marik about someone. Maybe someone he'd written a biography on? He didn't know.

The bear in question said one last think to Marik before heading over to a raised podium and platform. "Welcome class 82 of Hope's Peak Academy! As you know I am your headmaster Monokuma! And this is where you'll live out the rest of all of your pitiful existences. Fun, right? I know!" Monokuma cheered, letting out one of his now 'signature' laughs.

'W-What!? Stuck here, no I don't want to be stuck here! I want to see many lil' brother again and Mom and Dad!' Cody though worriedly, gripping his left sleeve of his hoodie tightly. "I don't need to be a counselor to see that your worried or panicked." Andrew commented, making eye contact with Cody. Andrew's eyes were a yellow-brown, but not exactly a ugly yellow-brown. It was like a hazel, with some honey dripped in.

He breathed, "My family...I want to see them again." He softly murmured.

Andrew nodded, "We'll find a way out. Just you wait. Oh crap, the Bears gonna talk again." He whispered reassuringly. Cody nodded to this.

"There is one-and only one-way of escape." Monokuma revealed, tempting them all with the information that only he possessed.

The girl that Lyric was talking to earlier stomped her foot, "Tell us then!" She demanded, a hint of rage flickering in her gaze.

'Escape? Why do I have a bad feeling about this...' Cody thought to himself, having adjusted his gaze back towards the bear. "Alex..." Lyric quietly warned, her fearful gaze not once leaving Monokuma. Trying his every move. Corey Neon, the Ultimate Martial Artist actually was standing a bit close to Lyric and Alex, as if sensing Lyric's fear. He didn't approach her however.

A ever more malicious grin spread across Monokuma's face. "I'm so glad you asked Alex! You have to kill someone-and get away with it! Let me explain it in more detail. When you kill someone, you become what's called the blackened. And then once students discover the body, an announcement will alert everyone that a body's been found. It takes three people to set off the alarm, but the blackened doesn't count as a person. So they don't count towards setting it off. Capiche? Good, moving on. Next is the investigation period. It's when you gather evidence and clues to try and figure out who killed another student! Next is a Class Trial. It's what it sounds like, it's a trial where you try and figure out which one of you sickos killed another! Guess wrong, and everyone but the blackened will be executed. And the blackened set free. Guess correctly, and the blackened dies and everyone else lives another day! However there's one last thing. I'll give you motivators to give you a little push to kill! That about wraps it up-oh wait! Here, have these handy dandy E-Handbooks. They're resilient and very difficult to break. In fact they only have oneee weakness~Which I'm not telling youuu! Phuhuhuhu! Oh and your room keys. Don't lose those, because you only get one. There are also rules on the E-Handbooks, which you should take care to not break. Since there will be painful consequences if you don't." Monokuma lectured and explained.

Corey walked forward a few paces, surprising Lyric a bit. She hadn't noticed him behind her. "So you think that you can make us go through this sick game? Who says that we can't stop you, after all all of us together should be able to easily take you on." He demanded, narrowing his eyes threateningly.

He 'yawned', "Corey you have no clue what your messing with. Try if you want, but you'll be breaking the number one rule! And what is that rule class?" Monokuma prompted, holding a paw to his 'ear' as if he was trying to listen.

"Rule one, harming your merciful and kind headmaster Monokuma in any way is strictly prohibited." Lily Belle and Marik read, glancing at each other in surprise afterwards. They smiled, chuckling softly to themselves at their coincidental action.

Monokuma nodded, "Very good Lily Belle and Marik! A+! So Corey, that's like a capital offense. Wanna risk it?" He praised, before pressing Corey.

The boy in question just lowered his gaze to the floor and huffed, before crossing his arms and refusing to answer. "That plush plush is no match for your skill Corey! You have the rainbow boi as backup so your unstoppable!" Liam shouted encouragingly, startling Corey a bit. Who just discreetly facepalmed some. But he was smiling some.

A loud crash echoed through the gym when someone standing off with another group of people dropped something. "I-I'm Sorry! I-I didn't mean to drop it!" A young handicapped girl apologized hastily, noticing the silence that followed. She was sitting in a wheelchair, wearing a adorable sundress with blue, purple, fuchsia, and yellow flowers scattered everywhere on the dress. Her hair was hardly past her shoulders, and a pretty blond that just framed her tanned skin. A small shattered vase and a few flowers were spread on the floor, and she was trying to reach down and pick them up.

"Caden..." A cold tone muttered, the girl it belonged to gesturing to the mess of broken glass and flowers on the floor.

Caden, the Ultimate Bodyguard nodded in response and kneeled down, gently pushing the girl in the wheelchair's hands away, and began to clean up the glass. She began to protest, but he stopped her with a gentle smile. "Leave it to me Jasmine. It is no trouble at all." He assured her, and went back to his task.

The cold toned girl that had seemingly told Caden to do what he was currently doing wore a large blue winter jacket over a grey short sleeve shirt. Black jeans and blue converse completed her outfit, along with a pair of blue headphones around her neck. "Katlyn can you take my sister over to the other girls over there? Please?" Caden requested. With a huff Katlyn did as she was asked, and wheeled Jasmine over to Lyric and Alex, where she awkwardly stood.

Finally the awkward silence was broken by Liam. Who you could always rely on to crack to ice. "Bam some sibling love right there bow wow man hawt!" Liam commented. Genevieve burst out laughing and began mimicking Liam's tone and words. That let everyone escape the reality of their situation for a moment. Monokuma used that time to hand out the room keys and ElectroIDs.

Cody spend a few moments fiddling with his before he put it in his hoodie pocket. Where he found a blue ribbon. He stared at it for a moment before putting it back. "Why do I even need this stupid thing..." Another boy muttered, seemingly ranting to a girl. The boy was dressed warmly, wearing a grey sweater with a black stripe on the sleeves. Some regular blue jeans and black converse. His hair was jet black while his eyes were a warm hazel.

"The rules are on their like the bea-Monokuma said. Remember?" The girl replied. She wore a white long sleeve shirt under a heavy black jacket, and a pair of white pants. Some sandals like in Naruto rested on her feet, and she had some earrings that were a frying pan on the right, and eggs and bacon on the other. "Dylan I swear sometimes you just don't listen." She complained.

He huffed, "Whatever Emma! It's not like I need them, I just wanna to stargaze...It's what I came here to do sorta."

"What we came here for doesn't seem to exist." Joshua, the Ultimate Biologist commented, his hands resting in the pockets of his lab coat that he wore over a simple black teeshirt and blue jeans. Regular sneakers from there.

Cody couldn't help but silently agree with Joshua's words. What they came here for, didn't exist. Now, they had to try to survive in a world where the fear of death was around every corner. Where you had to choose who to trust and the wrong choice could end in your demise.

Life or Death for the people that he would befriend...He didn't want to experience the outcome he feared.
