Helena Kyle never had a picture perfect life that she conveys. Born to Selina Kyle, Catwoman and Sam Bradley Jr., an uncover cop after a one night stand. Sadly, Sam Bradley died the day that Selina learned that she was pregnant.

Motherhood prompted Selina to quit being catwoman and adopted the alias as Irena Dubrovna but Selina's retirement did not last long and was caught on video with her successor, Holly Robinson. The supervillian Film Freak deduced Selina's new identity and together with Angle Man abducted infant Helena. Selina rescued Helena and had Zatara, to wipe their memories to protect their identities before "killing off" Irena and Helena Dubrovna.

Knowing that her lifestyle was too dangerous for a child, Selina asked Bruce Wayne to arrange for Helena to be adopted. Helena was adopted by a couple in Happy Harbor. For six years, the three lived a happy normal life until a car crash killed her adoptive parents. Helena bounced in and out of foster care before landing back in Gotham at the age of ten after running away.

She hated the foster home she was in before she ran away. There were a few foster homes that were nice and loving but they were overshadowed by the ones that were abusive and cruel.

Only a few months in Gotham and Helena was pickpocketing wallets from passerbys on the sidewalk. She made the mistake of stealing a wallet that happened to belong to Bruce Wayne, who caught her in the act. Bruce told her that if she wanted money from him, she could have asked before giving her twenty dollars.

After the encounter with the young girl, Bruce discovered that she was the daughter of Selina Kyle. Hating the idea of the young girl being on the street and something bad possibly happening to her, Bruce tracked down Holly Robinson hoping that she could help.

Upon meeting with Bruce, Holly told Bruce that the whole reason why Selina gave Helena up was to protect her from her other life. But the moment Holly met Helena, she remembered how Selina helped her and took her in and knew that if roles were reversed, Selina would most likely do the same.

Holly took Helena in and at first, it was going well until kept getting in trouble for fighting and stealing. Against her better, Holly decided that the young girl needed an outlet for her anger. That was the start of Helena's new life, Holly taught Helena everything that Selina had taught her.

At fourteen, Helena decided to break into Wayne Manor wanting to test her skills and prove to Holly that she had what it took to join her on heists. Once inside she quickly made her way around the manor before she was caught by a boy that was around her age. The two fought briefly before Bruce broke it up.

The boy wonder vs the the cat thief. Guess who won?

For the next few years, Helena helped Holly with heists. At sixteen, Helena and Holly got into a fight concerning her mother which caused Helena to leave and show up at Wayne Manor. Bruce allowed Helena to stay at Wayne Manor as long as she promised not to steal anything and to be nice to Dick.

But there is only so long you can keep a cat caged. Helena craved freedom. Freedom to do what she wanted when she wanted when she wanted. Freedom from others seeing her as more than a check or a pretty face.

I do not own Helena Kyle's backstory that belongs to DC, a majority of Helena's backstory is mine, like her being adopted and her adoptive parents dying etc. I am only going to expand on it as her backstory and parentage is an important part of this story.

Note:
This story will mainly focus of Helena Kyle and her life as well as her relationship with the bat family and Titans. I'm a fan of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle/Batman and Catwoman ship and thought to put my own mix on the ship. I love Dick Grayson/Robin and although I love Kori/Starfire. I wanted something new. My favorite Selina Kyle/Catwoman is Michelle Pfeiffer from Batman Returns. I got this idea after watching the Catwoman movie with Halle Berry after binge watching the show Ginny and Georgia.

And for the sake of this story, Catwoman will have feline like abilities, especially since Titans takes place on another earth. Plus, I thought it would be interesting to the plot.
