You aren't good enough for him... The darkness hissed into my ear; looming over my shoulder and clutching onto me like a leech. I forced my eyes shut hard and opened them back up quickly, trying to force away the thoughts.

All you are is a filthy, drug addicted failure! It hissed again, echoing in the back of my head. Leaning from ear to ear and antagonizing me with it's hateful words. I flinched in response and tried to ignore it, but it's voice was high pitched and screech-like. Almost like a cats shrill meow of anger.

"Yoongi? You alright?" An outside voice asked. The voice was sweet and smooth; like honey. It coated my ears and the shrill hiss of the darkness weakened. I turned my head to look at the face behind the voice; and what a beautiful face it was. Jimin. My Jimin.

"Yeah Jimin?" I smiled softly down at him.

"You okay? You looked upset for a second" Jimin frowned and looked at me, looking concerned for me a little.

"Yeah I'm fine. The sunlight just got in my eyes." I lied with a smile. Jimin looked unconvinced but turned away, not pushing more out of me.

I turn my head and look forward, the street starting to get littered with people. Young and old; going about their daily lives. Cars drove up and down the roads as people rushed to get home after work, planning to do whatever activity they had planned. Teens laughed and joked as they walk down the sidewalks with friends, or a secret boyfriend or girlfriend. A crisp cool breeze started to blow through the warm fall air, almost making the perfect atmosphere.

The sounds of people laughing, cars humming, leaves gently rustling against the wind. The sounds of life, you could say.

We were starting to near the cafe now, Jimin was practically vibrating with excitement of the forthcoming bubble tea just down the block. I smile to myself as I watch him grin; like a child in a candy-store.

"Do you already know what you're going to get?" I ask, watching his face. He looks up at me with his big doe eyes and just continues to smile at me.

"Yes, do you?" He hums as he swings our arms to the pace we walk.

"I've never been so how could I know what I want?" I say with a small chuckle. Jimin scrunches his face for a moment but then laughs it off; realizing the mistake he had made.

"You're such a cutie" I say softly and brush his hair back away from his forehead. A slight blush creeps across Jimin's face as he looked up at me. His eyes big and wide with innocence. I bit my lip and release it before gently cupping his cheeks, resting my thumbs on the apples of his cheeks. I felt his face heat up underneath my palms, I fight the urge to chuckle.

"Yoongi~" Jimin whined and glanced around. He shrank back shyly but still looked up at me. "What if people are looking?" He whispers.

"Let em' " I mumble and lean down, gently kissing him. Jimin begins to kiss back, shyly grabbing onto my forearms. The kiss was as sweet as it was sureal.

I can't believe I got a boy like this. I pull away slowly and looked down at him with a gentle smile. Jimin smiles back shyly, his face completely red; all the way up to his ears. I gently slide my hands off his cheeks and down to his shoulders. He nibbled on his lip lightly and leaned closer, leaning onto my chest gently and holding my waist.

"Was that okay with you?" I ask, holding him now and rubbing his back gently. Jimin nodded and looked up at me, glancing between my eyes and lips. I laugh lightly and pull away. He frowned in a pouty way and scrunched his nose up.

"Why are you pulling away?" He asks as we continue walking down the street.

"Because we're still on the way to get bubble tea remember?" I hum softly and cross the street quickly with Jimin. I could feel his pouty energy without even needing to look back at him.I smirk lightly to myself and continue to pull him along.

We enter the shop after a few more minutes. It's cutely decorated with plants and art all along the walls. There are some tables and booths, a few occupied and most empty. The walls were a pale mint shade, the furniture was all a darker to contrast the bright shade of the wall. There were cute potted plants on the counters as well as some taller ones in corners of the room.

I follow Jimin up to the counter and he begins to order. The staff was all smiles and super friendly, I'm guessing they knew Jimin since he loves this place so much. Jimin orders a classic black sugar milk with boba and steps aside to let me order. I step forward, glancing at the menu before ordering. I order just a classic cold green tea with boba and pull out my wallet and pay. I slip a tip into the jar before stepping aside with Jimin to wait for our drinks.

"Do you wanna sit and drink or start to walk back home?" I ask him, gently back hugging him as we waited.

"We can stay here if you want, I don't care either way honestly." He replies with a soft hum.

"We can stay for a minute before going back home. I don't wanna walk here and back with no break" I chuckle lightly. Jimin nods in agreement and closes his eyes as we wait.

I got an uneasy feeling, like we were being watched. I frown lightly and glance around the shop, no one was paying any attention to us at all. I brush off the feeling and just turn back.

It must be nothing, don't worry about it.
