Weather: Does it really matter if no one wants to leave out of fear?

The night seemed still, almost too still. The encounter with the horror of the stranger would not leave the heads of everyone as they slept. However the man from the day before was still at large and during the middle of the night quietly decorated the kitchen. Everything was perfect in his mind as he worked on his masterpiece.
Entrails hung like streamers in the kitchen. Cut and torn to last a whole decor's worth. On the dining table, written with neat perfection were the words:
"A funeral is an occasion meant for celebration."
Not wanting his threats left empty, he turned his attention towards Kinsley. He had plans for her. She stayed quiet during the removal of her eyes as he put them carefully in a zip lock bag for later use.

Whem they awoke it was not to birds chirping and singing, it was to a scream, that of Kinsley's. Her horror being that of blank nothingness in her wake.
